Lawler/Jake was good and had a great payoff.

Contracts don't mean shit. It is lines on paper, if he got an itch to play pro lacrosse tomorrow he would and WWE could not do shit about it. They are getting what they can while they can.

Trusting the franchise of the company more than a guy who might flake out in a month. This was a great match and Brock's expressions made it. His look of shock when Cena nearly decapitated him was great. Then post match his look of shock. Being all "Only in America" was great. I can't wait to see his rampage tomorrow. F5 for Hornswoggle.

Really WWE only fucked themselves doing this. Because either 1.Rey can pretty much do what he wants, because he will be protected from a third strike. 2. He gets the third strike and Rey still makes a lot of money in Mexico and TNA. While WWE loses one of their top faces.

Brock was great Monday. He is way too good at being a dickhead. Him telling Ace that he would not tolerate being fined like Sheamus was great.

Albert does tons of things better than Skip. Its not his fault he is having to hold back his move set. The Baldo Bomb is better than anything Skip does. -

There's a reason "what's my motivation" is the classic actor stereotype. The audience needs to know why they should give two shits about someone. If they're a hired gun by the boss to take out the annoying babyface who foils his plans, then say so. If he wants to be world champion, say so. Leaving things up to the fans to figure out is lazy booking at best and at worst you damage your promotion by not giving your fans a reason to be emotionally invested in anything. He is a wrestler in a wrestling promotion. His motivation goes without saying. -

Why else is he there? Jesus any wrestler on TV wants two things. 1. The Title 2. Money Neither of these things needs to be said outright. -

He was pretty good as soon as 2001. But slow paced matches are not his forte. He does best in fast paced train wrecks. They also neutered his move set. Umaga did not start getting really over til summer. Then he went thru HHH, Shawn and Cena in three weeks. After that they put him with Kane and went into the big Cena feud. -

He wants to win the big belt. That is all the motivation any wrestler needs. -
I loved the Studd, Adonis and Murdoch against Hulk and Andre stuff.
-
He put out a good effort in his last wrestling match with Angle. With agents laying it out and a motivation to make more money later, he'll be fine.

After watching some Mike Jackson matches last night, I wrote an entry about him on my blog, along with a video tribute. http://drvictatorpresents.blogspot.com/201...on-tribute.html -
They also advertised ECW pay per views in 97.
-
They advertised UFC shows on Raw.
-
I believe they were going to have Reed and Kendall Windham join the Horsemen in early 89, but decided to abandon the concept of the Horsemen.
-
They were a spin off of the Varsity Club and the Rick face turn. For years the constants in WCW were Sting, Luger, Steiners and the Horsemen. Take those away and I think WCW would of been in a lot worse shape.

Bischoff always comes across as a vile human being. Vince seems like a JR Ewing type of villain. He does bad things, but deep down he has some good in him. Bischoff seems like Jeremy Wendell. A creep they brought on the show to out creep JR. I love how hard he pushes his kid, after the way he ragged on Eric Watts. -
http://drvictatorpresents.blogspot.com/201...e.html?spref=fb I think this is the best example of why Bossman and Rude were great. In one match Bossman plays fired up monster face and later as a underdog working from the bottom to equal effect. Rude plays heel in peril perfectly. People hate him so much, they eat up him getting his ass kicked. Then he gets on offense and you buy him beating down Bossman and you are desperate to see him lose. Best thing is a clean finish in the center of the ring. Too bad the ppv rematch was not as good.

Dusty in 88 was a great booker. He had some problems, but they were problems common in American wrestling. Namely being allergic to a clean finish. But he had a roster full of great characters and better wrestlers. In 88 he created the Varsity Club and the Powers of Pain. He put the Midnights with the Fantastics and turned Barry heel while getting Lex Luger over as a main event face. Plus setting up Sting to be the next top face. WCW basically lived off of Dusty's booking tenure for years. It had problems, but nothing that was insurmountable. I think Dusty at his worst is still pretty good. I think one big difference between Russo's shit and other wrestling is. When you got a non finish in Crockett, it was at the end of a fairly long match. With Russo, he has three run ins after two minutes of action..

Yeah but Bryan will get money from the WWE ones.

What was with late 90s WCW fans chanting boring. It never happened with any rhyme or reason. Guys could be dropping bombs and some idiot would start going "Boring". The only time it never happened were during the endless nWo promos. -

WWE has a top 25 on the website. If a guy loses he goes down and if a guy wins he goes up. Post mania the losers like Cody, Bryan and Jericho took nose dives. Triple H managed to go up a spot. -
PPV match vs Angle and a triple threat vs Angle vs Sting. I love the ladder brawl he had with Joe in 06, when Joe had stolen the NWA belt.
-
And that was his third attempt and he had to bury the first two sets of charred kids.
