  1. Seems to be a lot of lucha workers making the top 25.
  2. Owen’s career highlight was getting squashed by Dibiase as the Blue Blazer.
  3. Corrected your typo for you Parv. You’re putting a lot of stock in him feeding that taco to Lord Al.
  4. I’d like to see the argument that puts Joe Malenko above Dory Funk Jr.
  5. Whether Strongbow is in hell or heaven, I hope he dies again.
  6. Scott Hall - obviously not a top 50 guy. Warrior - too high Randy Orton - suppose Goldust - about right AJ Styles - still think he’s a Joshi worker crossdressing as a man Christian - suppose Slaughter - should have been top 20 Jeff Hardy - meh Batista - if it was a list of wrestlers who have appeared in movies maybe Greg Valentine - bit overrated based on wwe work alone. Steamboat - best stuff in NWA / WCW Tito Santana - about right Jake Roberts - about right Ted DiBiase - wildly low balled, should have been top 10. Mr Perfect - ridiculous that he ranked above Ted and this placement one place above a true legend makes a mockery of the whole list.
  7. This puts me in the best possible position to cast judgement.
  8. Bossman, Orndorff and Rude all wildly overrated while Regal wildly underrated. Billy Graham, lol. Mr McMahon should have been top 10.
  9. Depite not really being around, I still as an almost automatic instinctive reflex open my browser to Google and immediately go into the url hit “p” and open up PWO.
  10. I will maintain forever that 78 is ***** No idea why it keeps getting yanked down.
  11. As Bob Dylan once wrote, “I used to care but things have changed”. But one day I will care again.
  12. I genuinely hate this match.
  13. His 85 is pretty special also.
  14. Yatsu from 84 to 89. He scaled the highest mountains.
  15. Any shot for Villano III?

  18. Jack Brisco vs. Dory Funk Jr. from 1972: Jack Brisco vs. Giant Baba from 1974: Both those matches are full of bombs and high spots. Stuff from 60s and before is too mat-based for me.
  19. https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/where-the-big-boys-play-91 Chad and Parv review Clash of the Champions 23. Wrestling Observer roundup [0:01:15]: Booking Dory Funk Jr like The Undertaker in 1988, mid-year picks for best wrestler in the world, random boxing talk, JYD subs for 2 Cold Scorpio. Clash of the Champions 23 Review [1:12:31]: Paula Orndork, Tom Zenk is still employed!, Meltzer consigns Regal to the 1950s, and debate over the main event. End of Show Awards [1:56:33]
  20. Either Marcus Alexander Bagwell in his pre "buff" years, or Alex Wright.
  21. It's the 87 one for sure. They go almost 40 minutes and you've got the likes of Bret, Tito, Greg, Martel, Haku, Bulldogs all in there working their arses off for the full time. Plus it's a match with 20 guys in it that tells a story. I'd imagine around the **** mark which would put it on par with the best Savage vs. Dibiase matches at the very least. I haven't seen it in years though, so could be one like Summerslam 89 Brainbusters vs Harts that blows you away at the time -- in the context of 80s WWF VHS tapes -- but isn't so hot to see now.
  22. Anyone mentioned the big Survivor Series tag match? That one that goes about 40 minutes?
