I guess they think by throwing her in a meaningless pre show match it'll keep the Sasha chants to a minimum during Paige/Charlotte. I'd be more interested in Reigns/Sheamus if it wasn't going to be another silly WWE gimmick match.

Bald Headed Geek wasn't being relied upon to get a reaction for the top feud in the company, and it was a much better feud than anything WWE has now. Boogey Woogie Man promos have been one of my favorite things watching the old stuff for the first time on the Network.

Charlotte seems like more of a Vince pick to me. He was the one that ordered she be in the Tapout commercial. HHH knows what Sasha, Becky, and Bayley can do while Vince doesn't know and probably doesn't care. I'm not saying HHH doesn't want Charlotte to do well, but he probably doesn't favor her over any of the other Horsewomen. I think Vince made up his mind a while ago to push Charlotte as the face of the division, and has no clue that Sasha and Bayley have left her in the dust as all around performers.

I still can't understand why they turned Paige(the most over face in the division) heel for no reason other than "nobody is allowed to be more popular than Charlotte so turn Paige, keep Sasha off tv, and make sure Becky looks like an idiot at every turn."

I went into Brock/Roman thinking it was 50/50 on who was winning. Sasha/Bayley was 100% obvious who was going to win, and they still had everyone in the palm of their hands for the finishing stretch. I think that's the biggest feather in the cap for the match because there was no way in hell Bayley could lose that match with the other 3 getting called up.

That was a really fun episode top to bottom. Joe turned back the clock 10 years that was a legit badass performance from him. I'm pretty much looking forward to everything that's being built up. I'm iffy on Corbin/Crews, but I think Corbin is getting pretty good and is so much better working heel. Nia Jax is taking the belt I know she's only been in short tv matches, but she has been perfect so far in the monster heel role. Asuka/Emma is going to be great if they give it more than 5 minutes. Jordan and Gable rule, and I think they over shadow Cass and Enzo at this point. The main roster can't get anyone over, and NXT has the problem of an act like Jordan and Gable being too good and too over not to be the top face team being behind another incredibly over face team. I haven't seen a ton of James Storm's matches, but it always bugged me that he was doing these indy type moves when he should just be punching and stomping a mudhole in someone.

I loved both matches, and have both as top 3 in WWE this year. I was more invested in Bayley/Sasha due to the booking around it being better(and the build up not involving a tug of war).

Cena just lost in a Raw midcard level match lolf'nl.

I think I have to go with Eaton. For an unconventional pick how about Rey Jr. He was never in any real long term teams, but his tag matches were always fun as shit. Perfect FIP and the perfect hot tag guy all in one.

The first name that popped in my head was Barry Windham. I think everything he did just looked smooth and awesome as hell. I loved his Lone Wolf heel run when he was using the implant ddt as a finish. Loved his punches, dropkicks, suplexes, lariats, powerslams, ddts, hell I even liked the way he did side headlock takeovers where he would kind of lift the guy off the mat before going over.

I was watching Fargo at 10 pm.

How much did HHH squashing Hurricane, after Rock made him look like a million bucks play into Rock's resentment of WWE/HHH?

It's too bad the Sasha vs Charlotte matches from Mania weekend, and the Philly house show main event haven't made tape. The best women's matches from NXT tv I've seen this year have been Sasha vs Charlotte from the 7/15 show, and Charlotte vs Bayley from 8/5.

Get Steph a job outside of WWE.

Replace Byron Saxton by saying 3 lines on commentary each Raw.

I loved the main event. Sasha's heeling was so great. I think Sasha is pretty easily my favorite worker in WWE.

I'm not sold on Crews, but that was a fine effort from Breeze.

Poor Dana I really need to see Asuka vs Becky and Sasha in NXT.

First two matches were awesome, but fuck Rhyno and Corbin winning. Gable and Jordan made terrific babyfaces.

NXT 24/7 was infinitely more watchable than Raw. They could make a lot of stars by showing that stuff in smaller doses on the main roster.

I wanted to see Sasha in her hometown so I caught at least one thing in it's entirety on this shitty show. They don't play her music coming out to minimize the pop, they have her promo cut off for more catty bullshit, and make the crowd watch someone they don't care about get beat up for 15 minutes by shitty ass team Bella before Sasha hits 3 moves and wins. That really came off like they were trying to minimize her reaction, but then again that fits with what they're doing to all the other workers in the company right now. Vince just doesn't have it anymore it's getting sad.

Not if we're counting Takeovers as ppvs and Sasha vs Bayley 2 is as good or better than Sasha's other Takeover matches have been.

What should happen: Rusev gets the push he deserves, wins the Rumble, and goes on to face Lesnar at Mania. Or New Day are the final 3 and they jump out at the same time to face Lesnar in a 4 way. What will happen: Reigns reboot push

I haven't kept up with modern pop music since the TRL heyday of Brittney and N Sync so I'm even more behind the times than WWE. Someone coming out to a Ghost or Mastodon song would get me to mark out though.

It's amazing how fast they can take red hot acts in NXT that are tremendously fun to watch, and make me not care about them in a matter of weeks. Zayn vs Owens will probably suck on the main roster at this rate. New Day is trying their best to carry the show, but they need some help.
