  1. Watch more WWWF and vote for Bruno
  2. I would've bet my house that I would be the high voter
  3. And for those perhaps a little overwhelmed by the recent trend of epic, prog-podcasts, At the Garden promises to be your lean, three-chord punk band alternative. No episodes longer than 45 minutes!
  4. Yeah kind of a dumb question on my part. So what was the criteria for your ballot? My criteria was a mix of charisma, memorable matches, ability to get heat, strength of angles, star power, promo skills, historical importance and transcendence...although don't expect much consistency from my rankings, I only put about 4 hours of thought into it, if that
  5. The Shea stadium match is really good. YOU ARE WEIRD, JERRY The real must see match between Hogan and Andre from that era is 3/21/81 from Philly. All the others are pretty nondescript to me
  6. Yes of course it did, otherwise I would've voted Ultimate Warrior number 1 or something
  7. One thing I've learned is that Ricky Jackson didn't base his list on in ring work. You're right I didn't
  8. Let me guess, Piper is next
  9. People clearly hate wrestling around here
  10. 3 part was fun too, can't wait until you get into the serious picks
  11. Not to be flippant but I'm curious as to what picture will accompany his reveal
  12. Well yes, his website is always of great value, but the reference I use most is Scott Teal's History of Professional Wrestling #3: Madison Square Garden, from 1999. Cawthon's site (and book too I think) only contains post-1962 results, whereas Teal's goes back all the way to the original MSG in 1880
  13. That's why I voted for him
  14. Since I have something in the works I want to hype and didn't want to start a thread for it just yet, or tack it onto some random podcast thread, I thought I'd create a general PWO-PTBN hype thread for any network personality who wants to advertise any upcoming pods for whatever reason. My upcoming project, which was alluded to in the Mystery Titans Theatre thread today, is an ambitious attempt at a solo podcast. I've long been fascinated by the history of wrestling at Madison Square Garden, and instead of shoehorning it into an episode of Titans of Wrestling (returning soonish, we promise!), it recently dawned on me to just go for it and do a solo history podcast on the subject. Anyway, more will be revealed shortly, but here is a trailer video for it I put together yesterday.
  15. I had him in the 60s. I'd like to think if the murders never happened he would've ended up in the same spot, since tons of other guys I used to like from Benoit's era have dropped massively in my eyes, like Angle for instance. I've barely watched any Benoit since 07, and next to none outside of a drunken night with friends about 5 years ago where I threw on the Benoit DVD to appease a request
  16. The Larry Z and Tony vs Scicluna and Steele tag may have stole the show. I loved it
  17. I thought I didnt put the trailer on Titans TV yet, but yes I'm debuting a solo MSG history podcast in May Oh wait yes, it would be on the home page
  18. It may have been the greatest collection of hair in wrestling history that hot summer night at MSG in 1977
  19. 58 left. I was sweating at 102 and 101 thinking Bob, Dusty or Roddy were going to fall before the top 100
  20. Backlund made the top 100! IT'S HOWDY DOODY TIME MOTHERFUCKERS!
  21. Kelly and Johnny return to the Sensational Seventies and NYC for a card during the red hot summer of '77. It was a night of truly magnificent fashion and amazing hair all around. The matches are fun as hell and the laughs are plentiful, so check it out!
  22. I have him in my top 10. I would've been drawn and quartered in 2006
