Personally, I think if you're a big enough wrestling fan to have stumbled on a site like this, you've probably watched enough wrestling in your life to be able to come up with a top 100 list. Maybe, like myself, you didn't participate in the "official" journey of the GWE, but I've been on a personal journey for 30 years, and nobody can tell me I don't know enough about wrestling to vote in a poll for the greatest ever

Seems like the issue with Soundcloud has been fixed and the shows can be downloaded

I love TNT as much as anyone but I don't think binge watching it is the way to go. Just watch one every once and a while to retain your sanity

For those who care, I watched Camp WWE and well, if you want to hear Vince swear a lot and see Flair having implied sex with bears, here you go

Apparently it's an issue with Soundcloud that is affecting everyone that uses it. Unfortunately nobody from Soundcloud has made any kind of statement on the issue so we're in the dark. No podcasts can be downloaded to mobile, but I think you can still stream on a computer

Yeah something isn't right. The last two shows on the feed, this and Parv's GWE postscript won't download onto my phone from Player FM. We're looking into it. Hopefully it gets fixed soon

I haven't seen this match in years but remember being a little underwhelmed by it due to the one sided nature. Love the April 76 match between the two of them where Bruno's neck is broken and he finishes the match, even blading and doing a fired up comeback

Woo hoo! Bring on the Bruno love baby! Love this match. These two work well together and I've enjoyed all their matches. Heat is OFF THE CHARTS

Yeah, as much as I love Rodz, I've really only seen him shine in that SD Jones match from March 81 MSG. He's had some good moments, but nothing special. But his role wasn't really so much to put on an entertaining match as it was to make his opponent look good and report back to Vince Sr on a wrestlers potential. Milage varies as to whether he was good at the former

Age isn't really the issue with WWWF guys like Strongbow and Fuji, everyone was old, and there is a decent amount of them on tape considering the time frame. If you can get past the barrier of "boring old wrestling" you'll find a lot of heated matches, sometimes attaining greatness like Strongbow vs Valentine in 79, and plenty of entertainment from Fuji in tags. There is a lot of crap though. I don't know how enjoyable it is if you're not fully immersed in the universe and love the characters and the time period

On Titans we've discovered that the Strongbow brothers were actually a fairly decent tag team, at least against Saito and Fuji. That's kinda sorta a revisionist opinion of Jay. And the world definitely needs more talk about Mr. Fuji

At the Garden Series Preview: Wrestling at MSG, 1880-1938 will drop Friday, May 6 on the PWO-PTBN Network. This brief history will cover such figures as "The Solid Man" William Muldoon, George Hackenschmidt, Frank Gotch, Ed "Strangler" Lewis, "The Golden Greek" Jim Londos, Danno O'Mahoney, and many others, as well as the story of three different buildings known as Madison Square Garden. Look out for it fans!

Johnny Rodz vs Mac Rivera - 2/19/1983, Philadelphia Spectrum Dick Graham and Gorilla Monsoon ("We want Kal! We want Kal!") on commentary. Ring announcer Dave Zinkoff with great introductions for the wrestlers and referee Dick Woehrle in the old timey, over-the -top manner straight out of 1927. Rodz is the babyface for a change and receives a decent pop from the Philly faithful. Mac Rivera is in full heel mode, Pear Harboring Rodz at the bell. Parv and I watched a Rivera match from April 1983 on the first Mystery Titans Theatre, and he was horrible there. Here, two months earlier, he looks much better. The guys cut a decent pace and engage in a slugfest in the early going. Not the Greatest Wrestling Ever, but solid stuff. But hey, everyone knows I revel in garbage, inferior wrestling, so don't take my opinion too seriously. Things slow down a bit, but Rodz heats things back up with some Lawler-esque punches. Rodz isn't bad as a fired up baby and South Philly loves him this evening. However, there are a lot of sloppy spots from both guys, so don't worry, neither man will be a threat to the 2026 GWE poll. The match just drifts aimlessly, as many WWF undercard matches from the era tend to do. We get a nice finish, with a well-timed rope running exchange ending with Rodz hitting Rivera with a sweet back elbow. Rodz covers Rivera. 1, 2, 3...Rodz wins! Rodz wins! Rodz wins! I love pro wrestling

I'm sure that most of the voters who didn't rank him just haven't seen enough, or any, of his matches, not because they watched a ton of Casas and said "fuck him, he sucks"
