Its taken way, way long to get there, but I'm out on Oedo Tai tags.* Both Kagetsu & Kimura are more than capable of delivering in singles outings but in a tag setting their matches become clown shows built around gimmicks and poor comedy that I suppose may be aimed at building heat. Done. *Any tags opposing Io Shirai are are of course exempt.

That segment with Nia, Charlotte and Rousey was horrific. Writing and delivery that make you cringe.

I think they just found it amusing that he had a painting of himself in his house, and from what I understand was wearing the same outfit in the interview. Haven't watched yet so I can't confirm, but that's what I recall.

If we're going multiman you can push this back a few years for Liger. Any ones in particular? Earliest Liger match to make the DVDVR NJ set was April '85 vs. Kosugi. While not one I'd rate as great, the Kosugi match was pretty damn good. Great, as in **** or better? I'd go there on these without question: Antonio Inoki & Keiichi Yamada vs. Nobuhiko Takada & Osamu Kido (2/5/86) 5 vs. 5 Gauntlet (5/1/86) -- Arguably not 1 match, but pick your poison on that debtae. While certainly great, I think the Cena matches are a bit overrated. The Roman matches are criminally underrated and I think the Extreme Rules one in particular is a legit all timer. The Brock match was also out of this world. Put all those together and its not too shabby for a high end resume, and that's without even getting into the depth of his TV work.

I feel like Master of None and Better Call Saul will be on this list eventually, but it feels premature to put them there now.

Miz vs. Rollins I'm nowhere near as high on Miz as most are, but this may have been his best match ever, and Rollins continued his recent terrific run here. Well paced, terrific selling, excellent counters and transitions, near falls that weren't overdone. This match hit on every note. If we get anything else at or above this level this show will be a massive home run. ****

I struggle to think of a commentator that is worse that has the amount of experience as Coach. MA-MA MIA~! I laughed.

Why sit through commercials on shows you DVR? Why go to the bathroom during commercials? Not everyone can allocate the same amount of time to all pursuits. If someone wants to pay me to listen to podcasts at any particular speed I'll certainly consider any offers, but comments like this that let people spout knee jerk, consequence free hostilities is exactly what is wrong with the internet.

That's how I still get it. All Dave really cares about is writing the Observer like he's done it for 30 years, so I'd rather read it the way it's intended. If they had PDF versions of the print edition, or the issues were properly indexed and formatted for the web, I'd consider it. The rest of the website isn't a value-add for me - none of the podcasts are particularly interesting, what little bit of their message board I've seen seems like a wreddit you have to pay for, and their web template is awful. I still get it in print for exactly these reasons.
