  1. He was dead on the water before the MITB win too. He's in the same place Del Rio was before he left. Very good in the ring but crowd could care less about the guy.
  2. It's sad it took an awful injury like this one to make me interested in the main event scene again. I hope Rollins can come back 100%, if he returns as a face he's gonna be over huge. So, does WWE get desperate and try to get Cena and/or Brock back for the tournament or do they take the opportunity with all these injuries to make a couple of stars? I think they'll pull the trigger on Sheamus and make him cash in on the winner if it's a face (Reigns, Cena, Ambrose, etc.) to build a filler program until the Royal Rumble.
  3. gif of the injury http://gfycat.com/GlisteningElasticCrocodile
  4. He wasn't really the guy on top for New Japan's resurgence (wouldn't call it peak). In fact he meant very little to New Japan when he was pushed as the top guy for a couple of years. He also doesn't have a lot of time as a great worker, and he's still very inconsistent. In 10-15 more years he'd probably be a lock, but right now I don't think it's even close. Exactly
  5. New Japan held a joint press conference with DDT to announce that Ibushi renew his contract....and that he will miss Power Struggle due to a neck injury, no timetable yet for his return (Cervical disc herniation).
  6. She was, that's how she kept interfering with Vince's plans in various angles during the Attitude Era.
  7. Isn't Vince usually referred to as WWE Chairman (of the board)? I don't think I have ever heard Vince be called CEO in kayfabe, so that reasoning would be unnecessary if true. That might be true. I know he's been called CEO before though because I learned what CEO stood for thanks to Vince. Maybe I'm mixing the english broadcast with the latin one, I know Carlos and Hugo used to refer to him as the chairman of the board or CEO all the time.
  8. I always thought Hunter was given the COO title to differentiate him from Vince, who was the CEO.
  9. Not the best week of reporting by Dave. He got worked on Del Rio's contract and mixed up a former Tough Enough contestant with a "very troubling" past.
  10. Sportswriters will work on ESPN.com and other platforms. Their contracts will be honored. I just hope Lowe isn't sent to Insider
  11. Breaking Ground looks interesting. Those 30 minutes flew by.
  12. Triple H and Taker were fined for doing chair shots to the head in WM 27 so it's not like Taker in untouchable.
  13. Can't remember well but was the Reigns/Ambrose segment (after Roman's win) made to explain why the didn't come out to save Taker? Like, in kayfabe they were celebrating Reigns W?
  14. Oh come on
  15. I think Brock bladed when he blocked being hit with the post. Seemed he had the blade on his wrist and did the thing when he stood there for a while.
  16. You finally got it right Will!
  17. Really liked that match. Both guys delivered. Roman is having a great PPV year.
  18. I really hope we don't get a rematch at the Rumble were Cena wins. And then Cena wins the third match at the February PPV.
  19. Vince must have thrown Alberto a shit ton of money for him to return, no? AAA lost hard in 1 month.
  20. Scott Keith? What the hell.
  21. Who is left to face Cena? Big Show?
  22. So viewership was slighty up (3.3 million average. Hours of 3.6, 3.3 and 3.1) but a record low rating of 2.21.
  23. Perfect start to RAW. No I don't have to check the rest of the show. Was the Orton thing reported? Did something happen to him or is it just kayfabe?
  24. Yeah, as I said house shows are house shows. I put that stat because I found it funny seeing so many losses and the one W against Sting, it just looked weird I guess. I have no clue what would be the record during a moth for a cowardly heel WWE champ so who knows if a stat like that is common or not.
