  1. Lawler was off TV for a bit during that period wasent he? Yes.
  2. Source?
  3. Didn't Central States have a decent Flair vs Brody match around 82? Are you referring to the 2/3 falls match from February 1983? iirc this forum has a great search function.
  4. ah. i just meant that gimmick in particular but thanks! really it's the combination of that look with the level of push they got in NXT that makes the whole thing so corny for me. i can't help but compare them to LOD and such. If the Outlaws has out right refused to do the job at the Rumble who would the Assention have been booked to wrestle? Why would the of refused to job? What an odd statement to make in 2015.
  5. Roku seems to be working absolutely fine. Hardly going to help The Chief with his issue, but good to know. Chief: In the first instance I'd contact support via Amazon to see what they suggest as I doubt you'll get anywhere via WWE channels.
  6. Word of warning. Never take a 10 year old non fan to a TNA taping when on vacation in the US. Now hates all Wrestling.
  7. I think if anyone should be claiming the GTS it's Hideo Itami.
  8. I'm done making sense of this company, and Vince's booking.

    Updates!

I think this is a great idea.
  10. Name of worker: Terry Funk Promotion (and year): ECW Night The Line Was Crossed (1994) Link to promo: Why you think it's great: Joey Styles interviewed a very emotional, crying, Terry Funk, who talked about his love of wrestling, stating that WCW wasn't "worth a damn", and was killing the profession because people with no respect for wrestling were running that company and WWF. Funk talked about his pride in ECW and the wrestling they provided, and paid compliments to Sabu and Shane Douglas, saying he respected both men. Funk was great here as the aging veteran that was trying to explain to Shane Douglas not to disrespect him and call him and old man. It ended with a brawl between the two. Great stuff.
  11. Wrestlemania V had the biggest buy rate, and the biggest overall revenue out of the two. Not sure about merch and gate.
  12. The breaking point would probably be family commitments, failing that it seems I am a lifer. Still, I skip most RAW's and only watch the PPV's and NXT at the moment, which free's up more time for other footage which at the moment is too numerous to mention.
  13. I'd love to see Sonnen do some announcing work with WWE, doing the panel deal at PPV's would work well if he was allowed to have a few minutes to talk.
  14. They're already running house shows.
  15. Again, great work with this. Really enjoy this each and every week. Like Smack2K says, I am piling up with new stuff to watch on YouTube.
  16. Ryan Ward should also be held accountable to a lesser extent.
  17. Couldn't stream the live stream this morning to watch the HHH / Austin Podcast. Had to get it via alternative means, which flew down.
  18. Fabulous match a total different style than I am normally used to with NJ Jr's. I really enjoyed how it started as a nasty brawl mixed with the odd highspot from Liger to try and get a bit of space between himself and Sano to recover from the beating he received. The last couple of minutes, especially the Tiger Suplex kickout were great.
  19. Are the other shows on NJW live too?
