  1. That promo video is odd/fun.
  2. Joe going after Bryan will make him the biggest heel on SDL easily.
  3. Kayfabe wise, Kurt Angle is an awful GM. SDL is stacked. Can't wait for Joe vs. Bryan, Joe vs. AJ and hopefully Joe vs. Rusev.
  4. Have you seen the his feud with Homicide and the other Nuyoricans from the northeast indys, namely JAPW that I mentioned? That is by far his best work, but again, if you don't like modern bloody arena brawls, then you won't like it. I guess we have different taste in pro-wres as I've always found Joey Ryan to be average in the ring at best. Even his pre penis "Technical Wizard" gimmick work was average.

  6. Gable got drafted to RAW.
  7. Asuka isn't over and Nattie is good? Those are some hot takes...
  8. There's a video on WWE's twitter account announcing Mojo got transferred to RAW.
  9. Bob Roode to RAW... Glad he won't stink up SDL anymore. They should send Randall Orton while they're at it so they can continue that lame feud for the U.S. title.
  10. Man, Tamon Honda rules. I had no idea he was related to former AC Milan player Keisuke Honda. This is one of his first big Noah singles matches and it's a GHC heavyweight title match and he doesn't disappoint. Honda is different than all the other Noah heavyweights and he's not a guy who will take a tiger suplex off the ramp to the floor or a half nelson suplex off the apron to the floor, but he will throw someone on their head with his Dead End and will roll on the mat and build a match slowly which is what he does here. He really has no chance of beating Akiyama, but they do such a great job at escalating this slowly and building up the drama for the finishing stretch that they begin buying into the false finishes from the Dead End. He also goes out like a hero as he refuses to tap to the King Crab Lock and he rather gets choked unconscious.
  11. "We are the Bar." "But what does that mean?" "Please, Michael..."
  12. Send Jinder, Rusev, Bob Roode and Randy to RAW for Rollins, Miz, Joe and Bálor to SDL.
  13. Dug the heck out of the ad.
  14. Teddy Hart is a lunatic. His feud with Homicide in JAPW is great. His work in JAPW is mostly made up of wild arena brawls with a ton of fish hooking, mouth punching, flying unprotected chair shots and random moonsaults off different platforms. Edit: Can't believe no one has mentioned this, but... Teddy Hart teamed up with BIG POPPA PUMP at the Impact vs. LU event. dead.gif They wrestled oVe and the match sucked, but talk about a dream team...
  15. Yeah, this match rules. The venue is odd looking for a Noah event as I mentioned in another thread for another match on this show. And El-P pretty much nailed it on this match. Everyone did look great, but I'd also add Misawa and Saito to the list of guys who stood out here even though everyone rightfully looked good as they were all given time as El-P also previously mentioned. That finishing stretch was great and that Akiyama toss into a powerbomb from Saito was amazing and a move some tag team needs to pick up as a finisher. Really good stuff.
  16. Riddle had the best weekend for me and it's not even comparable. I watched his matches against vs. Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr., Daisuke Sekimoto and Will Ospreay and they were all good/really good/great. I wasn't going to watch Style Battle, but given Riddle's performances, I think it's worth watching just to see how he did there. WWN's shows were far, far better than those of WrestleCon.
  17. I was ready to dislike this as Ospreay is someone I'm not a fan of, but this far exceeded my expectations and it was actually great. At a show where everyone was showing signs of fatigue and slowing down, these two put on amazing performance. Riddle did an amazing job of putting a nasty beatdown on Ospreay and Ospreay did an amazing job bumping like crazy and selling it. Loved the nutty top rope bump off the twister and the drama added with the refs. coming in to check on Ospreay and Riddle pulling on the bandages on Ospreays neck and back. The finish with Ospreay's hope spots was unbelievable and had the fans going bonkers. I imagine this live was unbelievable. What a weekend for Riddle.
  18. Talk about it here.

  20. I guess I'm alone because I personally didn't dig anything from the CZW show. I don't get/aren't a fan of Juice or Starr, so their match did nothing for me. Juice ring attire looks like what I'd imagine Superstar Billy Graham would look like in 2018 if he walked into a rave and Starr to me is one of the more overrated indy guys who's great matches I don't see the appeal to and who's too thigh slap friendly (then again this is something that's really played out in wrestling at the moment). Given I had already seen Cobb vs. Ishii which I thought was really good, the Gacy match was nothing in comparison. As for Xavier and Ospreay, yeah, there was about 50 other matches worked in that same style and even including them, so I'd pass on that. I'd say Ospreay vs. Fox from EVOLVE 102 was a better match worked the same style and I still wasn't blown away by it. Edit: Still haven't seen the WWNLive SuperShow, but I have seen both GCW shows, both EVOLVE shows and almost all of the WrestleCon shows and I can safely say the WWNLive Experience was far better than the WrestleCon shows on video.
  21. Thatcher vs. Garrini from EVOLVE 103 given 10 or more minutes than it got and had they been able to keep up the work they were doing would've been a MOTYC. Take 3 minutes away from the 4 way and 7 minutes away from Dickinson/Haskins and add those to Thatcher vs. Garrini and we would've been better off.
  22. This was one of the matches I was looking forward to the most from WM weekend and a singles match I've been wanting to see ever since that tag match they had earlier this year where these two got some brief exchanges with each other. From a grappling technical standpoint -- this is by far the best match from the weekend as it's a faux ADCC match. Some real quality exchanges between them. Garrini's sweep into the mount was, Thatcher punching Garrini's kidnies to get out of half gaurd, Thatcher's awareness to go for the half crab, Garrini's semi cartwheel into side mount and Garrini's Mighty Mouse-esque suplex-to-armbar were all fantastic. Unfortunately this was cut way to short and it didn't get time to develop into anything special, but if you are a fan of grappling, then this is a must watch.
  23. This was good. Not a fan of ZSJ still (haven't been convinced he's this great technical wizard -- advanced grappler that he's made out to be) and a lot of his goofy annoying grappling was on full display, however I did dig his banana split near the end leading to the twister. Riddle looked great however and I really dug his helicopter armbar early on and how ZSJ rushed to the ropes quickly to break it up and even though he holds back on his strikes, he still landed some pretty brutal body kicks. I also dug the manjigatame counter into the Gotch-style tombstone. Perfect finish with Riddle breaking out the arm-assisted twitter.
