Coffey
The name of this thread should probably be renamed: Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff now the most powerful people in TNA So what about now since Roode won the title anyway? FLIK
TNA house show tonight in Sacramento drew about 200 in a building that seats roughly 3,500. How was it? Reading results on Observer Roode/Storm sounds like it was real good tho lame that they were stuck working middle of the show pre intermission spot underneath Bubba Ray/Jeff Hardy. Loss
I don't watch TNA, but could someone explain how Hogan went from face coming in to heel back to face, and now he's talking about being Hollywood again, which suggests a heel turn? It doesn't seem to make sense on the surface. I doubt it makes more sense with explanation, but I'd still be interested in hearing one. Mad Dog
They came in, earned the trust of Abyss, then set him loose on the roster while working secretly to gain control of the company. Once they had tricked Dixie Carter into signing over the company, they formed Immortal. Hogan lost control of the company to Sting at Bound for Glory so he really had nothing to lose by turning against Immortal.

Rude-Storm was good. I was surprised how large Roode is in person. Earl Hebner worked most of the show and did his "Damn right, I did!" gimmick all night. He was introduced as "Wrestling's most infamous referee" and came out to Alice in Chains' "Man in the Box." He spent a lot of the time during and in between matches trying to get heat on himself by taunting fans and doing Ric Flair-style dancing. Samoa Joe tried to work heel but the audience still cheered for him. At one point Jeremy Borash said he was going to tell TNA management to bring a PPV to Sacramento. My friend turned to me and said, "I bet he said that in San Francisco, too."
Victator
He did in Huntsville too. I feel used.

Rocco
I DVR and then skim through most wrestling on TV these days so sometimes I miss some details, anyway was there any explanation as to why Bischoff is still around? The storylines now have Dixie Carter back in charge, so it would seem weird that someone who plotted and stole the company away would still be there. Kostka
The Roode/Storm title switch match was quite good.
Dylan Waco
The Roode/Storm title switch match was quite good. Is it "good for TNA" or "good?" I ask because I started to watch yesterday's show, got bored with the opening stuff and turned it off but would be willing to watch that match if it is worth my time. Kostka
You'd probably like it. Story was worked as both guys were evenly matched, sportsman-like babyfaces who knew each other extremely well with neither guy gaining any kind of sustained control through the opening stuff... tempers flaired and Roode busted out some pretty nice punches in corner to which Storm answered with some chops. Decent striking went on. Did the Show/Henry strike exchange from their knees. They got some hot nearfalls down the stretch off a roll through crossbody, spinebuster and flying back elbow. Roodes crossface spot where Storm nearly got his fingers on the ropes, to which Roode turned into a rings of saturn, to which Storm had to use his foot on the rope to break was a pretty sweet spot that worked in building Roodes frustration for the finish. I thought the finish and how they set up the ref bump/heel turn worked. I actually kind of want to see next weeks match now.

It was really good for a TNA tv match but I kinda liked Drew Mcintyre vs John Morrison from this weeks Superstars better. I'm not the biggest Storm fan as I think his look sucks but Roode was awesome at the end with the beer bottle. Of course Mike Tenay has to shit it up with his play by play and trying to put his voice over. TNA is best to watch on Mute i found out. Johnny Sorrow
Tim, you think Storm's look sucks? Wow, I think his look is the best around.
goodhelmet
I want to bump this thread. I don't follow TNA but what is the report card on TNA since Russo left?
FLIK
Tried watching TNA for the first time in forever last night and couldn't finish the show. The booking seemed ok but I have no interest in like half the roster. Like Austin Aries & Bully Ray but they were stuck with Crimson & Morgan who I can't stand, hate RVD, Anderson & Hardy so wasn't sticking around to watch that, i'm boycoting the entire career of Garett Bischoff & I have no use for current day Ric Flair in my life anymore so I just changed the channel, Angle & Styles have had great matches in the past but their one this week was about 1/100 of what they usually do. The 8 woman tag was apealling but felt rushed. Nothing at all that made me regret skiping the show every week

rovert
I want to bump this thread. I don't follow TNA but what is the report card on TNA since Russo left? A fine show in the main that I doubt is priority viewing for anyone. The promotion doesn't seem to have actual destination point(s) or genuine landmark events on it's TV show even when they do on paper like the wedding angle it neither draws you or repels you. Tim Evans
The booking isn't as stupid as it once was and things aren't as rushed as it was during Russo. Still everytime they build up something right(Roode/Storm) they screw it up with bad finishes.
