hammerva
What is with all this "last time ever on RAW" talk in this match. Did they announce it as a loser of the pin leaves town match
Strummer
This show will not end
Strummer
Probably an overreaction but WWE feels like an ice cold product right now. At least compared to the build to mania. Hopefully just the Spring time slump
Dylan Waco
Highlights of the show were divas, midgets and a Sheamus/Del Rio match. Think about that.
(BP)
Come on, midgets are always a highlight.
Matt D
I watched two episodes of Get Smart and now Five Characters in Search of an Exit is on the Twilight Zone. On the other hand, I don't even entirely know what I'd want to catch tomorrow morning on youtube. Maybe just Bo and Adam Rose?
tim
Highlights of the show were divas, midgets and a Sheamus/Del Rio match. Think about that. To be fair, Alicia Fox over the past couple weeks would be the highlight of just about any wrestling show ever. edit: I assumed that the ADR/Sheamus match was going to be good. But I just couldn't possibly give enough of a shit to keep the tab my stream was in open.
Dylan Waco
Actually Torito v. Hornswaggle is my legit pick for feud of the year.
Strummer
Can't believe this is the same company that produced the go home shows for Mania. I guess this is really the nature of the business right now. Take the good while it lasts
KrisZ
RAW was in Knoxville tonight and the post-show has been entertaining The crowd was hotter for Cena as he was cutting a promo then singing Rocky Top than they were during the live show. Renee was interviewing Evolution when Trips asked her why she was interviewing them barefooted which was hilarious.
hammerva
Just to make sure, there is about a 1% chance of Torito losing the mask right? I mean this isn't going to be like WCW with Mysterio is it. Although a bald Hornswoggle sounds horrifying
Jmare007
I think I already mentioned this a couple of weeks ago but RAW has really suffered from Wyatts, Shield and Bryan not pulling double duty anymore to give us fun/great tv matches that go along with their feuds. That and Cena/Wyatts & Evolution/Shield just not being compelling (even though they are fresh matchups, something we as fans are always asking for) and D-Bry being sidelined since Wrestlemania explains why this shows feel so god damn "nothing" every week. Surprisingly though, there hasn't been a Cesaro/Bryan type of guy that has stepped up when everything else seems average. I guess the rise of BNB and Alicia Fox is something but it's a way smaller scale than what D-Bry and Cesaro did last year.
Strummer
Just think almost a year ago exactly they were trying to get Curtis Axel over as a top heel by concussing Hunter and aligning him with Heyman. A year later we are probably headed for a Brie Bella v Stephanie McMahon match that will decide the fate of the world champion. Weird stuff happens in wwe in the spring months
Matt D
They were never actually trying to get Axel over.
(BP)
We haven't seen anybody new step up like the last crop did, but Zayn should be getting called up soon. Breeze too, although he may end up in the Emma/Rose pile.
cm funk
I'm guessing it ends with Brie goading Steph into a match. If Steph wins Brie is fired and if .brie wins Steph must stay out of Bryan's business (or something of that ilk). Doesn't make sense why Steph would accept to I expect Brie to incite her somehow This was the go-home show. If they were going to do that why wouldn't they set it up tonight? Unless it's a setup for RAW the next night? RAW was pretty dull and dreadful tonight. I liked the Big E-Rusev confrontation (first time anyone's gotten over on Rusev and could be a good short power match), I liked the contract signing, I liked Cesaro ambushing Sheamus and laying into him with dozens and dozens of forearm shots, Alica Fox, Adam Rose and Hornswoggle/Torito. Bo Dallas' debut came off well. But this is mostly midcard stuff and not much in a 3 hour show.

Badlittlekitten
I liked Raw quite a bit. No great matches on it but I was entertained through most of the show. I'm as sick of the Wyatt/Cena feud as everyone else and the 'wide world in his hands' rubbish has turned me on Wyatt. But that was the best segment Bray's ever been involved in. I thought it was excellent and done a great job in making him look like a truly dangerous psycho. It's nice that we got some continuity with the Maddox involvement from last week. Evolution were as hilarious as ever. Sheamus put on one of the best sell jobs all year and the post match beatdown from Cesaro was brutal. The 3mb vs Matadores is fun stuff and we're getting a hair vs mask match! Alicia Fox is obviously great, although they're already starting to over do it. Crowd were fine until the inevitable drop off after the second hour. Rusev and Big E clubbing the shit out of each other gets me moist. Jack Swagger took a lemon hostage. JBL got knocked the fuck out. Pretty good show.
goodhelmet
Looking at the line-up, from an in ring standpoint, it could be the best PPV of the year. Horsnwaggle vs. Torito could be legit good again. Cesaro-Sheamus could/should steal the show. Paige vs. Fox sounds fun since I like big match Paige and crazy Fox. Shield/Evolution will be similar to last month's match and Wyatt-Cean could go either direction. It could be really good or total garbage like the cage match. Only stinker I see is RVD-Barrett but that is because RVD is just rough right now. I expect Rose-Swagger and Rusev-Big E to be announced on the prelim or go on unadvertised. Tim Evans
Alicia got more heel heat than Orton, Batista and most of the heel except Wyatt. She might be my favorite person in WWE right now.
Strummer
Still trying to figure out the point of the backstage Steph/Del Rio segment. I guess it was just to show both were still in the building
Bierschwale
Was Rose going apeshit on Swagger a hint at a DID gimmick of him going back and forth between the Rose and (let's assume) Kruger personas? It felt odd to me from the beginning that he'd be a cornerstone on NXT as Kruger to immediately drop it for the Rose character when he got his call-up. Coffey
Wasn't a fan of the show & if I were to write about all the things I didn't like, I would be writing a book. Plus, I just don't think most people care to read the same negativity from the same people all the time, so I'll talk about what I liked instead. I liked The Usos coming out to save John Cena. Other than Cena, it never feels like the babyfaces come out to help the other good guys. So it was nice to see some of that. Lana is an attractive lady but I think it's hilarious that now when she comes out, she straight spins to point her ass to the camera. WWE know where their bread is buttered! :-) The Sheamus run-in on Cesaro made sense & was nice continuity because of him getting snubbed on the handshake the week before. The Sheamus/Del Rio match was good too with Sheamus doing a really good job of selling. Alicia Fox was great. Although it seemed to last a long time. That's a big segment to give a Diva, something WWE hasn't seemed to do over the last several years, so they must have faith in her. I missed Bo Dallas :-( but from seeing some pictures of the show afterward, the "Bo, Leave" sign in the crowd legit made me laugh. Eva Marie looked a lot better this week than she normally does. I don't think she made a single mistake, her front bumps were good & her roll-up was legit. Maybe she'll get better? Contract signing was cool for what it was & I guess Evolution had to get the upper hand going into the PPV.
shakla
For the past year or so, Raw has used the "jobber intro" (where the wrestler is already in the ring before the match starts) way more frequently, despite an extra hour. I can't stand it, especially for wrestlers who are supposed to be relevant and/or pushed. Even IC/US titleholders have been "jobber introed" at times. The logic for who got jobber intros last night was bizarre. Cesaro, who is on the rise, with high profile Heyman, gets a jobber intro, but still wins. Eva Marie, who is well-known to the "universe", gets a jobber intro and also wins. She may not be a contender, but she's not Iron Mike Sharpe either. Zach Ryder got his full intro. Emma and Alicia Fox both got full intros.
