Exposer
Raw was okay tonight. Orton going nuts was fun. It's something different. Steph's always good for cutting promos. Rollins hair is just awful. I mean it's really bad. That might explain 50% of the reason why I dislike him. The Henry turn was decent in theory, but poor in execution. Show's "hard" tag was similar to Nick Patrick's "fast count" at Starrcade 97. Mark's a bitch for whining about it. I did like Henry trash talking at the end though. Paige was amusing on commentary in the AJ-Fox match. The match itself was nothing. Lawler protecting Alicia was funny though. Reigns' promo wasn't any good. The Cena-Steph-HHH segment was too long. I don't really understand the situation either. They just made some shit up to pass the time before Brock returns from ice fishing. No way he misses the grand opening of ice fishing season. Mizdow was pretty funny again. I really want them to lose a match where Mizdow is too busy "acting" which results in Miz losing. That shit would be great. The match itself was middling. Ryback returning was neat. He got a pretty decent response too. Dylan spoiled me with the Ryback returning to crush Rusev stuff though. Still, I hope they build to a match between those two. The Ambrose segment didn't do anything for me. I feel bad for Cesaro. The Bray promo was more forced "speaking in riddles" bullshit. The thing with Bray is he's trying to speak in riddles because that's probably what he's been told to do. It's not organic at all. It's too corny for my tastes. The Bellas segment was tame compared to what I thought they'd subject us to. I didn't mind it. It was just boring. Kane-Dolph was really boring. Kane sucks. Dolph isn't good enough to carry him. It's that simple. I skipped the Hogan promo. Cena-Rollins far exceeded my expectations to the point I thought it was actually a very good TV match. Rollins was great in it. Like actually really good and maybe better than Cena. I liked that he sold the ribs after every move whether he was doing the offense or on defense. The near falls were more spaced out and less video gamey. I loved the new stooges getting involved. I enjoyed the match a good bit. The closing was fun, but kind of unnecessary. I didn't really understand why the whole roster ran to the ring to brawl. What for? My DVR cut off right before the supposed staredown and taunting between Cena and The Authority. I can see there being some good matches at Survivor Series, but the booking doesn't make any sense.
Strummer
so Dave on the free show said that he thinks the company sees Ambrose as # 4 babyface which is why Rollins went over at the PPV. Also said that the company sees Rollins as the #1 heel in the company. I guess that's right with Brock part time, Orton turning and Stephanie and Hunter not really wrestlers
cm funk
interesting that Stephanie and Hunter offered protection to Cena to help him get his title back from Brock when they were the ones who brought back Brock to take the title from him to begin with! goc
I couldn't have agreed more with your posts about Rusev in the HIAC thread. He's clearly the best act in the company (which has a lot to do with the fact he's about the only guy they have booked well over the past 6 months) and he is way better in the ring than some people want to give him credit for. Also has more heat than Rollins and Brock.

Yo-Yo's Roomie
The most interesting iteration of Team Authority is clearly Seth, Hunter, Noble, Mercury and Stephanie, right?
Matt D
Actually, they should put Hunter in. It'll make the PPV feel a little more special but protect him since it'll be in a multiman tag. Also, you know, depth issues.
rovert
Third quarter 2014 results are out Thursday. Â So who will be released this week? Â Cesaro jobbed on Raw. So.
Strummer
I got a kick out of this. From Scoot's blog: Â Â Â Try this one on: Ambrose/Rollins from Sunday is the third WWE PPV singles main event ever where both wrestlers were in their 20s. The first two? Taker/Taker and Taker/Yoko, both 1994. It's a useless fact, but goddamn is that a dumbfounder.

I really want them to lose a match where Mizdow is too busy "acting" which results in Miz losing. That shit would be great. Â What they should actually do is have Mizdow distract the ref while Miz cheats (foreign object or something), but Mizdow mimics Miz's cheating right in front of the ref and they get disqualified. tofu_chipmunk
Seth is the number one heel yet Vince decreed that there were no more babyfaces and heels? Â "Heel" is just lazy 2014 shorthand for "morally compromised sports entertainment superstar/diva".
TRMD
That was the best Orton segment I've ever seen. I'm being 100% serious. Â He didn't sound like a robot reciting lines, he sounded and looked legitimately pissed off. The RKO out of nowhere was even great. Â Didn't really watch most of the show since my game was on, but I caught some bits and pieces. AND I MISSED RYBACKS RETURN. Sickens me. He's been my favorite act in the company since he debuted and I've been patiently waiting for his return. Â I'll probably start watching Raw full time again if Orton continues to improve as a character and with Ryback returning and all.
Superstar Sleeze
Best opening segment in recent memory and best character work ever by Orton! That's how Ambrose should be booked instead of a moody teenager with a bad sense of humor. Orton killed it. Damn, I was impressed they got all those months out of Orton as a lead heel and champion past what I thought was his expiration date. If they keep this up, Orton will actually be revitalized again. Wow! Really dug the electricity of the opening segment
sek69
So Alberto mentioned recently that the WWE executive that called him to say he was let go was one of the ones who would openly make racist comments. He didn't name names there, but cubsfan noted in his update today that Alberto mentioned before that it was HHH who called him to break the news. He also pointed out that Ricardo made similar claims towards HHH as well.
fakeplastictrees
I wonder how different WWE would be if all the racist were fired and replaced with non-sexist and non-racist personnel?
Jimmy Redman
Well that makes Vince history, so I'd say very different indeed.
sek69
I've been pondering who is actually going to be on the teams in the Survivor Series main event. Since it's 5v5 instead of the 4v4 I thought it was originally, I'm guessing Team Authority will be HHH/Seth/Kane/Noble/Mercury, and Team Cena will be Cena/Dolph and I guess Orton once he officially turns. Sheamus is probably doing a match against Rusev, and Big Show (who actually has history with the Authority) is programmed with Henry. No one else is really built up to be on that level at the moment. Matt D
If they're going with Los Matadors vs Dust Brothers at the PPV, they can use the Usos to take two spots in the main. They seem like guys who would team with Cena. Alternatively, do they have time to heat Ryback up enough? i really think one good TV moment with him showing up when needed would do it. Â Remember when they had Big E come out to save people at the beginning of the year and he was really over for two weeks? WWE is sure bad at this stuff. Yo-Yo's Roomie
Surely Noble and Mercury aren't actually going to main event this pay-per-view. I'm sure the Authority will recruit some ringers, and we'll see someone like Henry or Rusev or even Cesaro on their team.
Strummer
the logical finish of the main event at SS is Orton finally turning on the Authority to help Cena's team win but with the way WWE has booked this year I expect the heels to go over clean and they do the turn the next night on RAW. Of course they could do the turn before the show but I doubt it
Loss
Since Survivor Series is free, it seems like a great opportunity to take a big booking risk and make someone like Sheamus, Ziggler or Ryback the focal point of the show. What's to lose? Maybe even headline with an IC title match.
Coffey
I would be on board with using the free PPV to re-establish a couple guys like Ryback or Cesaro.
