So American Dragon doesn't use or does his best to stay away from caffeine which I find incredibly awesome. How close is he to straight edge? Is he straight edge?

I don't think he's "officially" straight edge, but his vegetarian/vegan lifestyle is pretty similar in terms of not putting bad things in your body.

I'm almost positive Bryan isn't vegan anymore.

Yup, soy intolerance made it impossible to stay vegan on the road.

Well, there's lots of other stuff out there besides soy for vegans and non vegans. Soy is horrible for the health especially with 90percent of it being GMO. It's frustrating how much tampering there is with the food and water these days. I personally stay away from meat myself for more inner peace. Bryan is a pretty cool guy. I love the no television bit.

JAKE. THE SNAKE.

Loved Dean Ambrose not being able to hide that grin.

The Reigns vs. Punk match was real good, especially the stretch run. Huge win for Reigns and I think it was played perfectly.

First post!

Not enough timeto watch the whole show but the spear at the end was aces. Reigns has a kick ass, intimidating don't mess with me persona/presence that reminds me some of Bolo Yeung. I really hope he keeps that..

Must go back to check out grin now. The crowd and Jake and I betcha Ambrose I think wanted the Short Arm Clothesline/ DDT but seemingly the WWE didn't want ithat.

Seeing Jake in good shape was cool. And damn, hearing that great music got me all nostalgic and shit.

The rest, I dunno, I fast forwarded through pretty much the entire show, since I saw nothing of interest to me. That opening segment just killed any goodwill I had going in.

I'm really starting to think Batista isn't going to win the Rumble, simply based on how much they are pushing "Batista is coming back and is going to be in the Rumble." Seems to me like another situation where they are pissed the plans got leaked, so they are going to change the plans.

Does anyone else think Bad News Barrett is pretty terrible? Takes way too long to get to the point.

I don't watch the JBL and Cole show and I hated the first two weeks of Bad News Barrett but I have really enjoyed the latest two. This gimmick might not make him a main event star (I think with the current crop of potential stars WWE has, he has a slim chance anyway) but it could turn into a decent spot in the midcard/upper mid card.

It seems like they might be going Brock-Batista which I could get behind and is much more appealing than Orton-Batista. I really want to see The Shield vs The Wyatts at Mania but I don't think that is going to happen, I do hope they run that match sometime though before The Shield splits up. Possibly at Elimination Chamber?

2-Cool/Rikishi vs 3MB has to be an early contender for worst worked match of the year. The hot tag was possibly the worst I've ever seen, and the whole thing was really awkward, no flow or rhythm and no heat either which made it worse. Scotty looked genuinely embarrassed to be there, and totally out of place too, they didn't even bother getting him to look like his old self. Brian Christopher was just a bit weird looking old and haggard but still playing Grandmaster Sexay. Rikishi was way out of shape. 3MB didn't look fresh or sharp either.

Other than that the show was alright, spun it on less than usual and took me ninety minutes instead of thirty to get through it all. Flair is still one of the best in the world on the mic and the opening segment was surprisingly good. The Rhodes tag was fun although jobbing Real Americans out again on free TV in a non title match seems questionable booking wise.

He'll probably get screwed/eliminated by his eventual Wrestlemania opponent.

Yep. He is also subscribing to this weird new heel trope where they all have to fake laughter and grin maniacally. Maybe he will grow into the role, the writing needs to get better though as the promos are obviously 100% scripted. Seems a bit forced right now.

Oh I really dug Ryback on commentary,

He was fantastic. As a character he has come on leaps and bounds and is solid in the ring if the matches are kept short and just involve a load of bombs. An extended run with the IC title would really enhance both him and the belt - he'd come out of it in a solid position to head back into the world title picture. The return of the 'Bully' skits would be nice too, genuinely my highlight of WWE last year.

It comes from one of their web shows where the talent tend to fuck around because the higher ups don't pay attention to it and it was still pretty bad.

It's shorter, but the hammy delivery was still there. Also, people who say the writing is completely to blame for stilted acting need to watch some of the web shows. Things are a lot more loose and a lot of talent are still pretty bad at the whole promo thing.

Honestly can't believe they are wasting Lesnar on a match with Big Show at the RR. They could have at least done a match with Henry that felt a bit fresher. All the new and intriguing match ups they could do and we get a rehash of something that happened multiple times a decade ago and wasn't especially interesting then, other than to see if Brock could lift Show for his offence.
