Dwide Schrude
Almost no talk at all. He barely got a word in edgewise with the chick from Community always piping up. They have a spot on the (live) show where people get to come up and ask a question. Part of me was hoping a wrestling fan would get up there and say "it's real to me dammit" but it didn't happen. He carried himself well. Didn't get to say as much as the other two on the couch, but took it in stride and joked and looked like he was having fun up there. flyonthewall2983
Is it possible he signed some kind of confidentiality agreement that lasts until his contract is up?
Moonsault Marvin
In the SEC documents, there are booking contracts for Stephanie and HHH. They have confidentiality clauses in them that are probably similar to whatever most wrestlers sign. Maybe John or someone else with a legal background could explain how those clauses would apply in Punk's situation.
Loss
If the confidentiality clauses are there, how does the shoot interview market exist? How are guys like Jericho and Foley able to write their books? How are Austin and Ross able to do their podcasts and tell stories?
Moonsault Marvin
i'd assume it's not worth the time, money, and loss of good will to sue wrestlers for interviews, and there couldn't be much in terms of damages.
flyonthewall2983
I asked because unlike Ross and Austin, Punk is still technically under contract with WWE, not to mention that anything Foley and Jericho (or others) have published are almost always WWE books. Migs
Jericho's books have not been WWE books, but they've been released at times when he was not under active contract.

Yeah, while I'm sure the NDA's have the language to cover any number of things (my own NDA for the tech company I work for is stupid extensive, though little of it is ever enforced), I bet in practice they couldn't care less about autobiographical details. Something that revealed too much about ongoing business matters though, I assume that would be a different matter.
flyonthewall2983
I'm torn between hoping this is a work and that he makes a grand return in New Orleans, and hoping it isn't and that we'll get some damned good shoot interviews out of this. goc
Punk is a multimillionaire I don't see him sitting down to talk with RF any time soon.
dexstar
Punk at his most surly and sarcastic, being interviewed by the usual morons on the shoot interview circuit, would be pretty damn entertaining at least once.
Matt D
You figure he has to have a podcast sooner than later.

Strummer
Punk and AJ are engaged. It was the talk of RAW last night backstage. http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/464793-exclusive-aj-lee-and-cm-punk-engaged edit: forget that Meltz says it's not true but they have moved in together in Chicago

goc
I'm surprised we don't have video of someone stalking his building for TMZ catching AJ going in or out if they're really living together.
hammerva
April Fools? No that will be in about a month when Punk finds a really hot girl on the indies and starts banging her while AJ is on the road. I have a hard time believing that Punk is a settling down kind of guy. flyonthewall2983
Someone spotted Punk at a Blackhawks game going on today. Definitely not in NOLA.
SteveJRogers
Someone spotted Punk at a Blackhawks game going on today. Definitely not in NOLA. I've seen several FB pages/groups get trolled by someone repurposing some old Punk photo as "proof" that Punk is in New Orleans this week. FWIW, and tongue in cheek a little, the game was this afternoon. Its not like they can't fly him down, get him into the arena when everyone is already IN the arena for main event shenanigans. =
