sek69
I'd love to see a breakdown of votes to see how many people view Total Divas/Bellas as must have programming. They always keep the viewing numbers close to the vest but it seems clear no one gives a shit about their wanna-be TV programming since none of their created series seem to last more than a season. Al
When they ask how my child under 7 views WWE programming on a scale from 1-10. She's two. She doesn't know what wrestling is. (Except for that weird wrestling episode of Dinosaur Train.)
sek69
My kid's four. I put him down as a 6 out of 10 since he doesn't really know what wrestling is either but he likes it when he sees it on the TV.

Migs
They have uploaded 2010 and 2011 Raw, so there's now a complete set, minus any stray missing episodes (are there any other than the Raw Bowl one?).
MikeCampbell
They have uploaded 2010 and 2011 Raw, so there's now a complete set, minus any stray missing episodes (are there any other than the Raw Bowl one?). No, the Kid Rock episode is up, and that random one from 2012 also got put up. So, RAW is complete, save for #141.

MikeCampbell
I'm finally watching the Raw Bowl, since I've been one of the more vocal whiners about it being omitted. I've always said it wasn't something I really even cared to see, but, that it's omission was bothering my OCD nature. Â I have to say, this Bowl game gimmick is really awful, and Vince and Lawler's commentary is horrendous! Eric Bischoff summed it up best the same night on Nitro. It's the Toilet Bowl! Zoo Enthusiast
It's weird because everyone knows it's terrible, yet there were some who just had to watch it. I assume they are now on various forms of social media talking about how it's terrible.

If Lucas/Disney released Star Wars Holiday Special or Disney managed to secure the rights to officially release the Corman Fantastic Four, I'd imagine the reaction would be the same! stro
205 Live sucks. Who the fuck was wanting an hour long workrate show when there is already 9 hours of content per week, plus the talent working long matches on Raw and the show already being rematches TWO WEEKS IN? Completely needless content for the sake of content shit. People don't care about the cruiserweights on Raw or PPV, adding a whole hour in front of a dead/tired/leaving crowd is ridiculous. goc
But if they didn't start 205 Live HHH wouldn't have a chance to take a bunch of mark pics with people's indie faves.

The commentary with the endless forced football puns made me envious of the deaf though.
sek69
I wonder if the issue with that episode was the "Lombardi Trophy" bit that ended up being a Brooklyn Brawler gag. The NFL is notoriously insane when it comes to anything even close to resembling their Super Bowl IP.
Beast
Word from the Network staff was that it had to do with dealing with the marching band music which plays throughout the show.

I'm not entirely sure what the goal of bringing in the Cruiserweights has been. The CWC was pretty good & we got some petty good matches from it. But the majority of the Cruisers, even the ones they try to push, are dreadful. The matches on RAW and PPV have been pretty bad and the 205 Live is just like, "why?" They don't even feel like Cruiserweights. They don't feel different from normal WWE wrestlers the way, in example, the Cruiserweights on Nitro did. They feel really toned down and often, very boring. Like, you have a six-minute Cruiserweight match to try to impress people that aren't familiar with you and you're slapping on multiple headlocks? Fuck outta here. Lee
Word from the Network staff was that it had to do with dealing with the marching band music which plays throughout the show.  Probably similar to why it took them a long time to put Raw 20 up, since there's a "Rock concert" in the main event of the show that now looks really weird - Rock comes out with a guitar, mic and stool set up in the ring, laughs at a picture of himself from 1996, then CM Punk comes out to stare at him, end of show. Rock signing "Wonderful Tonight" to Vickie Guerrero is what's been cut.
The Thread Killer
They don't feel different from normal WWE wrestlers the way, in example, the Cruiserweights on Nitro did. Fuck outta here.THANK YOU! I don't know who is laying out these matches, but WTF? I've been amazed at the amount of rest holds I've been seeing in the CW matches. At first, I just blamed Tony Nese (which I still do, to a point) but he's not the only who has been doing it. These guys are slapping on rear-chinlocks like they're Randy Freaking Orton. sek69
The only guys who should be doing holds are guys like Jack Gallagher who's gimmick is being a technical wrestler. Otherwise it's just a third hour of regular WWE programming with purple ropes. Â The cruiserweights on Nitro were doing shit no one had seen before in 1996, and they had the benefit of being on a show main evented by guys who by and large hadn't left their feet in decades prior. A flippy guy show in an era of main event flippy guys is not going to wow anyone. And I'm saying that as someone who's a fan of most of said flippy guys. Zoo Enthusiast
Yeah, that is the main issue. It's not like Raw and SD are just Big Show, Khali, and Kane matches for five hours. It essentally comes down to 205 Live being a watered down version of NXT.
stro
An example before Survivor Series: The cruiserweights had a 6 man tag with dives and flips and shit that went on for way too long and fans didn't really care much for. It was followed immediately by Kane vs Harper, which had....Harper doing dives, and both men jumping off the top rope. And then every match on the card had a dive of some kind. Or multiple. It's easier to count the amount of people who don't do a suicide dive in WWE, so why should you be more impressed with a 170 pound dude doing it when 230 pound guys do it all show long?
