khawk20
As a Canadian, I can say I've never heardof them where I live...but it's a step in the right direction, anyway. More will surely follow. Let's hope when Bell picks it up Rogers doesn't screw them into having to charge $20 a month for it.

Eastlink mainly serves the Maritimes when it comes to TV (and likely most other services). I first heard of them through Canadian college football, but I can see why most wouldn't have. I'm surprised, in that I figured Shaw would be the next ones, given their partnership with Rogers for Shomi. Anyways, Eastlink is charging $11.99, just like Rogers, so I figure nothing would change for other carriers.
iamthedoctor
Having already done Monday Night War episodes on the NWO and DX, they're now doing one on the Kliq. For fuck's sake. WWE likes to think that DX is the best ever thing to happen in the Attitude Era so maybe it makes them feel better if they have Shawn & Hunter on their twice. We all know NWO was the better group. pantherwagner
So... if you search for wrestler names you can find stuff that isn't yet categorised. I was looking for an Iron Sheik promo to show it to a friend (from either a TNT or Primetime , Mean Gene is struggling not to laugh on camera) so I typed in Iron Sheik on the search bar and found a few TNT episodes not on the list. I imagine it's a matter of time that a large bulk of TNT's is released. Not a surprise since that show's entire run was on 24/7.
JNLister
Somebody has already somehow downloaded 40 TNT episodes from the network and uploaded them to a torrent site.
pantherwagner
If you search for the right names you can find pretty much all episodes but maybe somebody used a smarter way. I'm now watching Mean Gene looking for Adrian Adonis in the streets of New York. I work from home a lot and I must say that it's a perfect show to leave somewhere in the background while you do other things. It's campy as fuck, easy to watch (and also easy to ignore because you aren't missing all that much) and the matches are quick and mostly not very offensive
Eduardo
Watching some of these TNT's, and I'm really surprised at how good Vince McMahon is on some of these episodes. As a fake TV talk show host, he feels and sounds better than actual late night, American talk show hosts in 2014. Shit, in one episode, he seems sincerely warm and like he actually cares about SD Jones' career, and the music Jones grew up with. There is this level of absurdity to it, with a dash of ridiculous self-importance that makes these interviews really fun to watch.
sek69
A news bit in the daily WON update mentioned starting Sunday there's going to be more Raws, Smackdowns, and Sunday Night Heats (!) added to the VOD section.
pantherwagner
A friend told me that he read somewhere (probably one of the C&P wrestling news sites) that there were going to be several uploads a day of Attitude era content during the last 12 days of the year. BillThompson
I just hope they start uploading more old content at a brisker and more logical pace. They own the footage, they need to put it to use and in a way that will make sense, like upload all of Mid-South TV over a few months, but do it chronologically. Matt D
Is there confirmation anywhere that 100k people really bought Survivor Series on PPV?
David
It's from the Key Performance Indicators that were released on WWE's corporate site this week (http://ir.corporate.wwe.com/Cache/1500066545.PDF?Y=&O=PDF&D=&fid=1500066545&T=&iid=4121687). Comparing this KPI to last month's, Survivor Series had 33k domestic buys and 70k international buys. Based on how you calculate it, the total number of buys is either 103k or 104k. Hell in a Cell had 21k domestic buys and 56k international buys. At this point, it's pretty clear that a certain number of people are not going to get the Network and are going to continue to buy the PPVs. Loss
It's amazing to me that some people would rather buy a PPV than get the Network for free.
BillThompson
So, not confirmed yet, but read online that they have started removing old content to make room for more new content. Started with the 95 Nitros, as they are what has been removed to make room for new episodes of Countdown, Total Divas, and the like. I'm not jumping the gun until this is all ironed out and the facts are known. But, if it does come to be that they are removing old content then when I finish my PPV rewatch project I'll probably cancel my subscription because if they aren't going to make the Network a one stop hub for all of their library then I see no point in subscribing. Coffey
If that's true, I might give it up as well. Here I am hoping for MORE older stuff, like WCW Saturday Night & instead they might take some of it away? Bleh. Especially for shows that I have zero interest in. Do they really have a space issue where they have to remove stuff? Ugh.
KrisZ
It's amazing to me that some people would rather buy a PPV than get the Network for free. It should be more amazing that there are a lot of people that don't have devices to watch the Network on.....and I know quite a few of them. The amount of people who have asked me when will WWE Network get on "real TV" has been hilarious.
JNLister
The "taking stuff down is to make room for new stuff" comes directly from the official Ask wwenetwork Twitter. Which means it's completely unreliable.
sek69
All the Nitros are still up, so I think that might be a false rumor.
Smack2k
If they have to take down stuff to put up new stuff, then they are in some trouble with the network...HDD space is cheap as shit all things considered....
sek69
Watching 1996s Raws, and man are the Billionare Ted skits like watching Vince's id being broadcast on national TV. Once you get past the initial mean spiritedness, you see it's very much Vince acting out like a jilted lover. The "Larry Fling" character is such an obvious Mary Sue, asking the Huckster and Nacho Man questions like "the WWF made you stars, why did you leave them". It's like a teenage boy who got dumped having access to top level TV production.
iamthedoctor
Im still in two minds when the Network finally comes out in the UK if ill actually bother to sign up for it because majority of stuff they have on it I have got from other traders in the past and while the Network will be HD versions its not something thats drawing me to the network. If they have some good stuff that isnt available id be tempted to sign up as at the moment Id feel I would be wasting my money. I know they do stuff like Countdown shows and stuff but majority are clips where id rather just see the full matches.

It's likely that they screwed up and forgot to upload something.

JNLister
Yep, the Nitros are back up now with the new thumbnails plus the milestone/chapter points. So the official Twitter is not just wrong, but actually making the product look worse than it really is. Either that or "new updated programming " was just a ridiculously badly worded way of saying they were adding the thumbnails.
