iamthedoctor
I would think Arnold would be inducted by HHH because "they're both 'pro' bodybuilders", among other reasons. Didnt HHH induct Sammartino the other year? They need some who hasent done the inducting in a while.
artDDP
No, Arnold inducted Sammartino.

efrim
Stevens going in has gotta be a favor to Patterson. I wouldn't put him in because he fails the one real criteria of the WWE Hall of Fame - "Would pop a modern WWE crowd"
iamthedoctor
Sid would be a great choice to go in this year. Im still waiting for the Steiner Brothers to go in.
JerryvonKramer
My theory on Ivan Koloff (and Dominic Denucci) is that guys who are synonymous with Bruno couldn't go in before Bruno. And now that Bruno is in we'll likely see Ivan. Probably they've forgotten about Dom
Matt D
Advantage of Denucci is that he trained Foley, right?

DMJ
I believe it has been officially announced that Rikishi is going in this year. I was never a huge fan of the guy, but I know there are some who like him (and love to bring up that SD match with him vs. HHH and the Radicals as if it was the biggest TV match ever), so, this is not a surprising choice - especially considering the popularity and success of his sons thus far. Still, he's someone I would probably not have on my own personal shortlist and can think of quite a few guys from pre-Attitude Era that are equally as deserving. When people say "Koko B. Ware is a Hall of Famer" as a note to talk about how the Hall of Fame is not only full of mega-stars with long resumes of championships and main event angles but about other aspects of the WWE's programming, I feel like we could probably say the same about Rikishi now. Good midcard act, goofy Stinkface spot, danced when he put sunglasses on, "did it for the Rock," but did nothing for me as a fan.

Good midcard act, goofy Stinkface spot, danced when he put sunglasses on, "did it for the Rock," but did nothing for me as a fan. Rikishi at least flirted with the main event picture on a few occasions, which I think puts him above your average midcarder. Plus, his career as a midcarder - even in previous gimmicks like The Headshrinkers and The Sultan - is filled with fairly high-profile matches for that spot. Perhaps more importantly, two songs prominently featured on WWE programming right now. And a relative to Roman Reigns in everyone's favorite family tree. flyonthewall2983
I think Rikishi getting is more the case of a guy who worked hard for them and getting proper due in that respect, than someone who's a top guy or an innovator of the business. Matt D
Rikishi had name value during the attitude era, was a multi time tag champ, was an IC champ, has kids on the current roster to induct him, worked for the company for years. I don't have Chris Harrington's list in front of me, but I bet he's pretty high on the most WWF matches ever list. Probably in the top 50. He was there with something like four gimmicks too. I don't get the argument against him, frankly. Except for maybe the ass thing isn't something that the company wants to promote from a corporate level. iamthedoctor
Just heard Larry Zbyszko will be the next one announced. Thats a great choice. Have they ever featured more than one deceased wrestler during one Hall of Fame because if so id love to see Rick Rude get one as he deserves to be a nominee.
