WingedEagle
Awesome backstage bit with Bryan and all of the legends. Flair chopping Steamboat is in the running for spot of the night.
Minds_Eys
Lots of things going on during the match, but i couldn't look away from the screen. I would classify it as mission accomplished.
Jmare007
Sting vs. HHH - OK, this crowd loves them some Sting early on - Poor Sting’s hairline - Man, that hot opening sure died down once HHH took over with his lame offense. - Wrestling wise, a complete shit show. - The entire DX vs. NWO thing is 15 years too late but this would have been hot in 1998. - The first thumbs down thing for me on the show but this wasn’t put on for me. Unless they had a bloodbath or a brawl, I wasn’t going to like it anyway  Damn, man. No nostalgia fun? Not even unintentional comedy? I had a blast watching it
jcmmnx
Simmons was one segment too late. Flair chopping Steamboat was the highlight of the night.
JerryvonKramer
Lovely custom-made little segment for Bryan and all the hardcore fans. I'm wondering if they are thinking about trying to re-establish the IC belt as the workrate title? Â Did you see Flair's face when Bret walked in during his moment. Matt D
But Sting hates the NWO. It's like Vince just read the cliff notes or something. And why didn't everyone turn on Sting during the handshake? I'm so confused.
cubbymark
My feed kind of bombed out when the nWo came out, but that seemed like a strange choice as the "WCW" representatives for Sting seeing as Hall and Nash were Hunter's Kliq buddies. DownNDirtyTN
Who the fuck are these people?
Strummer
if that standoff happened in 1998 the next PPV would have done a 3.0 buyrate. As for today I have no clue what the fuck just went down
goodhelmet
I hope they give the divas 20 minutes only so there is no curve for Dylan to rate the match
tim
first stiff elbows now AJPW tag structure. confirmed that the bellas have been watching bryans tapes.
Matt D
Wait, after this, there are only three matches left, and there are 2 hours now? It's not like Taker can go long and neither Reigns or Rusev are super experienced.
Jmare007
There's so much time left that it's almost a given they are running a big angle after the main event.
JerryvonKramer
One thing I have a problem with in the HHH-Sting match is the way they made it seem like Hogan was just another guy. I mean if you look just at what happened in that match, there was no real distinction between him and Billy Gunn. Mistreatment of a true legend. jackwebb
I would have paid to get to watch that Sting vs Triple H match backstage with Bret Hart.
Steenalized
WWE crowds pop as hard for the Outlaws as they do for Hogan at this point, which is not at all.
Strummer
Meltz loved Sting v HHH. I have a feeling he's going to be taking a lot of crap for that for the next little while. Saw it as a blowoff to the Monday Night Wars and that Sting is done. I didn't even know the war was still on. Â hey Steph buried Sting on Monday and he lost anyway. Per usual for this company lately
goodhelmet
AJ & Paige vs. Bella Twins - There were some nasty bumps but this was so disjointed. About what I expected.
JerryvonKramer
WWE crowds pop as hard for the Outlaws as they do for Hogan at this point, which is not at all. They popped for him at the Silverdome.
Matt D
I wasn't really paying attention to that divas match because I was playing blocks with my kid. Did they really do a call back spot to the Rumble mauling where AJ got pulled off the apron as part of the finish? that's really clever if so. Dylan Waco
Didn't think it was disjointed at all. Decent match
WingedEagle
Bellas vs. AJ & Paige  -Crowd treated it like an extension of the bathroom break that was the concert. That's fine, because you need to go to the bathroom during a 4 hour show, but I'm glad I hit that during the concert. Fun match with everyone working hard and it wasn't even absurdly rushed. Could very well be reading into things, but AJ and Paige's interactions seemed to suggest AJ may be on the way out. Seemed very concerned with taking everything in. JerryvonKramer
Second best match of the main card so far after Orton-Rollins. With the caveat that HHH-Sting is beyond ratings or analysis.
Steenalized
Â WWE crowds pop as hard for the Outlaws as they do for Hogan at this point, which is not at all. They popped for him at the Silverdome. Â They really ran him into the ground over the last year, especially around Mania season and after that. Foley and Flair are in the same boat. They might get pops at Mania (might), but they've come back too often and acted below their station too much for people to care.
goodhelmet
- First section, AJ knocked senseless on the ground. No tag partner. Played up as missing partner in action. - AJ gets in, no damage, just moves. - No drama or teases leading to the finish. - No more interaction between Paige & AJ at all teasing what the announcers were playing up
