goc Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 I would say you just leave that up to the bookers. Whatever you want to do with existing titles, including blowing them all up and starting new ones, should be fine. Fictitious title changes in Puerto Rico or actual tournaments, whatever floats your boat.
dkookypunk43 Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 I turned down Dusty Rhodes who was arguably the biggest star in 83. Why in the blue Hell would I take Kerry's offer of SGT Slaughter
dawho5 Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Yeah Ted is your guy if Mid South goes forward after that. Him and JYD were their big draws at the time along with Murdoch it seems like. At this point Magnum was still more of a guy on the rise IIRC. And depending on the rules we go with regarding that he's got three years left before his big accident. Who knows who Parv gets in the first few rounds. Could be he picks up somebody you really want.
goc Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 You don't understand the concept of "trade rape"? You don't make an EVEN trade it's like a 2 for 1 deal. "Hey give me your 2 really good running backs for my decent quarterback it'll be a good trade you need a QB"
Beast Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 While we wait for the last 3 holdovers, we should decide what the draft order will be.

JerryvonKramer Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 The thing is, I don't even know if I want Ted that much. WWF is a babyface territory.
goc Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 I'd ask for at least the first 2. Nothing less than the 1st and 3rd. EDIT: Nobody is buying your bluff. We all saw your WWF in 1983 thread.
El Boricua Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Who is considered an owner in WWC for our purposes? I need to clear this up before making my save pick.

He never won the big one did he! What? You had him retire Bruno Sammartino in the main event of the first Wrestlemania (with less than stellar fan reaction to it occurring). Doesn't get bigger than that.
KrisZ Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Regarding your titles....it's up to you to figure out how you do it. Here are the list of champs at the time. amps.png
KrisZ Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Who is considered an owner in WWC for our purposes? I need to clear this up before making my save pick. You can save Carlos
KrisZ Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 One thing of note....the WWF Canadian Titles are the Montreal titles
goc Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Who is considered an owner in WWC for our purposes? I need to clear this up before making my save pick. You can save Carlos I think the question was more like "Is Carlos considered already with the promotion since he is the owner?" and thus meaning he would already be there without using a save.
KrisZ Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Well if it's going to be an issue with Carlos then Lawler & Ron Fuller fall in the same boat. Ole was an owner in GCW and he is available since I didn't keep him.
goc Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Well if it's going to be an issue with Carlos then Lawler falls in the same boat And Ole. And then "well what about the sons of the owners?" I think we should have some kind of official agreement on what to do with owners who also wrestle. Does the AWA get to pull Verne out of retirement for a big show without ever having to use a draft pick or a save on him?
El Boricua Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Yeah, what I wanted to be clear on is if Carlos Colon is an owner.
El Boricua Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 I think he wants Carlos as owner + a save. Not so much thay I want Colon + a save pick, but more that I don't want to use the pick on Carlos if he already comes with the territory.
goc Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Maybe allow people who have owner/wrestlers to keep them without having to use it as their save but then put those people towards the end of the draft order since they are at an advantage?

Does the AWA get to pull Verne out of retirement for a big show without ever having to use a draft pick or a save on him? There are several places where there was more than one owner. Let's just designate one person per territory as owner to keep it simple and leave it at that. I don't want to cause any issues, so we could just designate Jovica as the owner and I'll use my save on Carlos if it keeps everything going smoothly.
El Boricua Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 We should make a list of the people that are included with each territory in order to avoid confusion later.
