dkookypunk43 Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Duggan wasn't my next pick. I think this field is stacked with different type of babyfaces that I wasn't considering Duggan. I have a few that I'm considering and you'll be shocked by my next pick
goc Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 I just thought you were going for the Mid-South All Stars roster after having DiBiase, JYD & Dick Murdoch. Without Butch Reed or the RNR I figured if that WAS your strategy then Duggan was the next logical choice.
dkookypunk43 Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 With the Muraco pick I was thinking I need a strong third heel instead of a baby because I can easily build up a face because those crowds were so hot. I didn't realize about the all star roster until Parv pointed it out to me. I wanted midnight more than RNR in reality and if they were still available at my round 2 I would of taken the midnights
Matt D Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Wahoo is another one of those great "1983" picks.

I wanted midnight more than RNR in reality and if they were still available at my round 2 I would of taken the midnights Let's be honest, you were just screwing with me. WAHOO was my pick and I stand by it. First Nations people make up quite a bit of the population, he has been here due to Mid-Atlantic, he's a great worker and can mentor some of the younger kids who will come around. Wahoo for the win, baby!
goc Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Grimmas you barely got Wahoo because that was who I was going to go with when I didn't think I could get Duggan.
Grimmas Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Grimmas you barely got Wahoo because that was who I was going to go with when I didn't think I could get Duggan. I hesitated on Muraco, thinking he would drop. Never again, every pick is who I want the most, and it doesn't matter where I think they will be drafted. I'm glad this strategy worked out.
Grimmas Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Wahoo is another one of those great "1983" picks. A base of Martel, Wahoo and Valentine, Koloff is a great 1983 starting roster, I think.
JerryvonKramer Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Targets for promotion's "Indian": 1. Wahoo McDaniel 2. Adnan Kaissey reskinned as Billy White Wolf 3. Chavo Guerrero in a headdress 4. Chief Thundercloud 5. Cuban Assassin in a headdress 6. Dominic DeNucci in a headdress 7. Jules Strongbow ... ... ... ... 8. There is no eight.
Cross Face Chicken Wing Posted June 12, 2015 Author Report Posted June 12, 2015 Grimmas will you have Wahoo wrestle with a blade permanently embedded in his forehead?

No Jay Youngblood?
Grimmas Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Grimmas will you have Wahoo wrestle with a blade permanently embedded in his forehead? Him and Koloff both. Let the blood reign down on Carleton Street!
goc Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Wahoo could still go in 1983. Koloff could still go too but he was starting to show his age by then. I don't know that Wahoo really was yet.
Matt D Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 5. Cuban Assassin in a headdress He's very versatile:
rainmakerrtv Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Wahoo & Slater were definitely on my radar Same here, mostly Wahoo.
Grimmas Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 I have some big Wahoo plans, especially if you like Wahoo-Valentine beating the shit out of each other.
Boon Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 I feel I may of passed on one of my top picks, but got to start getting some decent hands in the undercard...
goc Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Can I unpick Jimmy Goldenin that case if possible? The problem with Robert is that he would work a little then take a shitload of time off and he did that throughout 1983-June 1985. I don't think there is any reason we need to follow that in this game. It's not Terry Funk or Gino taking a whole entire year off at a time or someone dying. I think we should have a hard rule about not being able to change picks though.
El Boricua Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 I'm fine with Boon drafting Golden and Fuller together.
KrisZ Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 I have no problem with it either but Robert can't be used until he is healthy.
goc Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 I'm fine with Boon drafting Golden and Fuller together. I'm fine with it too, I was mostly looking for clarification whether they were actually teaming at the time or feuding. In Southeastern it can get difficult to keep track as I know for sure they feuded at least once because I watched this segment about 10 times on youtube where Jimmy Golden says Robert Fuller sat at home and got fat eating donuts and drinking beer and that's why he ain't a rassler no more:
KrisZ Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Yeah that was when he came back for a short spell in 1984
