goc Posted June 11, 2015 Report Share Posted June 11, 2015 83 really isn't THAT early for Eric Embry. I'm not sure if he was really so much better in 88 & 89 or if it's just that he got more chances. I've seen him in some pretty good TV matches as the over matched underdog who loses but puts up a fight before losing, especially one against Dory Jr. from Florida and one I just saw recently against Bobby Jaggers from 83 Southwest that I also thought was good, which isn't an opinion I am having very often watching Southwest.
