From the offices of Giant Baba, courtesy of Dory Funk Jr....

To all North American promotions... These veterans are suffering from a lack of charisma and need a redesign. they all have the technical skills to succeed but have not captured the hearts of the Japanese public. The honorable Baba is willing to give you Hata or Sugawara for a minimum of four months to develop character work to help them connect to the crowd. The Momota brothers will also be handed over for four months but are needed as a package team to help strengthen our tag division. The honorable Baba is hoping to implement the program the middle of September until the end of December as all four wrestlers are booked until then. If the redesign is successful, all of the wrestlers are in line for a push. You may rename the wrestlers, create new monikers as well as implement new gear. this is not a program where I need veterans to train them. All are capable in the ring. I am looking for a creative mind to help elevate them in the eyes of the fan. Certain names like "Ninja" or "Kamikaze" or will not get over in Japan and would not be positives for this project. However, all non-racial, creative ideas will be considered.

Rocky Hata (began 1972) - 6'4 , lanky, ugly, should probably wear a mask. Uses a neckbreaker as a signature move. Background in sumo but wrestles a technical style.
Nobuyoshi Sugawara (began 1979) - 6'0 solid, athletic. Uses the blockbuster neckbreaker as well as backflips in the ring.
Yoshihiro Momota (began c.1975) - 5'10 230lbs. Son of Rikidozan. He was trained by Pat O Connor and the Funks.
Mitsuo Momota (began 1970) - 5'8 lightweight. Looks older than he is. Son of Rikidozan. He wrestles a technical style, not afraid to bleed or brawl but can also fly. Trademark moves include Backdrop, Tope Suicida, Powerbomb, Samson Clutch
- These brothers are a package deal as All Japan is trying to shore up its tag division.

From the desk of Frank Valois:

The International Wrestling Association would gladly host Rocky Hata and Nobuyoshi Sugawara for four months and feature them as a midcard tag team. Young Armand Rougeau, the youngest and least experienced of the famous Rougeau family, would benefit from being in the ring with a pair of technically proficient wrestlers. Hata and Sugawara would also be working with one of our most experienced veterans, the Frenchman Rene Goulet. Goulet was Ric Flair's opponent in his second match as a pro wrestler and is known for his consistency. Hata and Sugawara would be used as heels and given reign to work a more aggressive, violent style. We hope this is acceptable to Mr. Baba and that International and All Japan will enjoy a good working relationship going forward.

Mid South would be interested in Misawa & Kawada from 11/5 - 11/23.

I wanted to also confirm these dates that were made under previous management.

8/3, 8/4, 8/20

9/7, 9/17, 9/21

12/7, 12/14,12/17

As booker of JCP, I confirmed the 17th of December. I'd ask if Beast could let me have them on the 7th, 14th, and 17th. The 7th and 14th are Wednesdays and off days for JCP, so it should work.

Will these August and September dates work? Along with the November run?

Thanks!
