Boon
Just a quick update from me, I'll be doing brief recaps of shows over the next few weeks so not to fall behind. I'm in Tenerife for 2 weeks at the beginning on July and for those of you that don't know, I work in London and my work has been mental with all the stuff that's happened with the fire and haven't had the chance to write up shows. Jesse Ewiak
So, after a long time, I'm back with a totally new idea. With the news of the GLOW show on Netflix, an idea popped up - how about a WrestleCrap-ish version for this world, only in a 'regular' male promotion. Thus has been born Radical Righteous Wrestling, which will be airing on over four dozen UHF stations across the United States this summer after taping twenty four shows over a week in front of an audience in Studio City, California.. Created by David McLane and Herb Abrams, they aim to have the most entertaining, mind bending, and absurd hour of wrestling on television anywhere. Check your local newspaper or get a copy of TV Guide for showtimes in your area" Here's the roster, even though basically everyone will be under radically new gimmicks. RRW: Radical Righteous Wrestling Co-President & CEO - Herb Abrams Co-President & Head Announcer - David McLane Ben Bassarab Denny Brown George Weingroff Goldie Rogers Jack Armstrong Jerry Morrow Gentleman Jim Holliday - Non-Wrestler Keith Larson King Cobra KY Wakamatsu - Non-Wrestler Lord Humongous Mike Starbuck Pat Kelly Rudy Diamond Steve Pardee Superfly Tui Selinga Super Samoan Sakalia Tarus Bulba (Juan Reynosa) Tony Parisi Tony St. Clair

SirEdger
Great to see another promotion in the project and looking forward to see it. Although given that I also use a Lord Humongous (Jeff Van Kamp) on my roster, who is Jesse's Lord Humongous so we can avoid any confusion?

LowBlowPodcast
Not wanting to step on toes, but with the UWF happenings, is Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana more open for individuals to potentially run there? I already have shows in Houston but would love to throw a loop in there in August if at all possible, especially with markets like Dallas and Fort Worth along with San Antonio, Oklahoma City, and others. SirEdger
Not that this is my business but given that Mid-Atlantic has some shows once in a while in the Florida area & that Continental runs that area as well without any hitch, I don't see why you couldn't. Hell, I'm running 2 shows to promote the pre-Bash tour in Texas & Kansas next weekend and I haven't met any resistance.
kevinmcfl
To be honest, I have been feeling this way for awhile. UWF, NWA, WWF and the AWA are all separate "National" type programs. We are in fact not working together but to push our own brands. We should all be able to run wherever we want. UWF is looking to keep the Southern Rasstlin Idea and has no interest no in running in the Northeast, West on Canada but after that all should be fair game. Houston, St. Louis and even Hawaii made a living on using others talents for their own game. Houston would run World Class type shows one night and UWF shows the next followed by WWF next week. This is exactly what this game has turned into. Everyone for themselves. We have three World Champions. Why should the UWF care if the WWF went to Dallas this week and I went next. If they are enough fans to support it, great. If not, let the better show win! With that, UWF is going to be centered in the southern and middle part of the country. I am going to try and follow the Memphis and Mid South loops but major shows could include near cities like St. Louis or Kansas City. If the AWA, NWA or WWF wants to run any city that was used historically in my loops feel free. If you did a search of where Mid-South Wrestling was aired in 1985-86, it was everywhere but the Northeast. Watts had easy access to ratings and could see hotbeds for his product and might want to reward them with a house show along the way.
LowBlowPodcast
That's the life of the game. It would be hard to revert back to an nwa style game in which we all share talent all the time and have one world champion. There are still sharing agreements amongst companies which isn't a problem and alliances can be of benefit when used correctly.

gordi
I think it would be hilarious if you guys started running house shows in Osaka or Fukuoka. Just toss them in on your loop.

rainmakerrtv
Osaka would be the natural next step if I add Fairbanks , Alaska, to the AWA loop, just like Verne tried to do IRL.
LowBlowPodcast
I just got off the phone with representatives in Mexico... El Satanico, MS-1, Pirata Morgan, and Matt Borne have all moved over to PR to work until Mexico re opens or they find adequate housing. If you have other roster updates, please PM them to me as we have some trades going through today that I know of.
kevinmcfl
It seems that we have left Dean Malenko off of our list. Wrestlingdata.com says he debut in 1979 but lists his first matches as 1985. It only lists 7 or 8 matches and he only won one so he is a true work in progress. Should I add him to free agency?
LowBlowPodcast
He was drafted by MACW in the 1985 fresh face draft. He has the rights to him unless he was somehow traded. So at this point he is an MACW guy. And he is on his roster, double check there for future questions. I know we have some mix up but this is another call to urge everyone to pm me your updated rosters when possible so that we can keep the database up to date.
