shoe
It's fair to say that Chavo Classic isn't a fan of the service. He wants to get in the ring with me for 2secs for being a pirate . I told him I'm just a fan.
goc
Haha dang shoe! He didn't threaten to beat ME up, he just retweeted me To be fair I'm sure he is in a really awful mood today after Piper's death.
PhilTLL
Dollars to donuts that pretty much all these guys get no royalties and have no claim to them. I wouldn't want to hear about the service either, ha.
goc
On the one hand, I can understand them being a bit miffed on not getting any royalties but on the other hand would you rather just not have anyone ever watch your life's work? NWAClassics.com isn't like WWE Network where you could argue that they really do have the money to give out royalties. I guess I won't be including @ChavoClassic in any of my future tweets about NWAClassics.com though
shoe
Most of the guys like Duggan, Dr. Tom, Dory have been pleasent when I tweeted them about a match I'm watching. Chavo wants to beat me up.
Tabe
OMG vs Brad Armstrong 3/22/85 This was a lot of fun. We open up with some cat and mouse. Brad goes to work on the arm for a bit. This was fine. Gang cuts him off and uses his weight as an advantage. Armstrong shows decent fire fighting underneath. He tries a comeback and does an atomic drop. The Gang's weight is too much and Brad leg gives out. This pretty much leads finish. This was a lot of fun . I actually didn't like this too much and though that Brad taking out his own leg by atomic dropping Gang made Brad look pretty stupid. Yep, Put that in with the "doing an atomic drop on your already injured knee" as being spots that I just hate.

BillThompson
Most of the guys like Duggan, Dr. Tom, Dory have been pleasent when I tweeted them about a match I'm watching. Chavo wants to beat me up. Wrestlers in general are pretty fickle about being tweeted at. I still do it, but it usually depends on what I had to say about a match. shoe
The only reason I'm doing it is to get a retweet to get the nwaclassics.com out there. If they don't like fans tweeting them they shouldn't be on twitter .

Matt D
Hey guys.. So, stop what you're doing, whatever it is, and watch Reed vs Santana. It's pretty damn great. What really makes it is the struggle that they put into every hold. You can see it on their faces and it's worth its weight in gold. I'm pretty certain that it's a match we didn't have before. PhilTLL
As in Butch vs Tito? Cool. I like their WWF encounters.
Matt D
Yes, and you guys are killing me by not adding in a second opinion
goc
I tried to start watching it but I just have total wrestling burn out right now. I went back to Reno 911. Maybe tomorrow.
Matt D
Ironically, you're still in the Southwest.
goc
I have watched, written & read more about wrestling in the last 2 months than probably the first 5 months of the year combined. I did a heavy binge over Thursday-Saturday to get me up to 45 matches (actually 46 with the latest battle royal) Speaking of the battle royal I didn't like it and am holding it against Matt D for getting me all excited about the Greg Valentine/Brody part that didn't do much for me at all. Matt D
You're just burnt out. Hardly a good judge unless you're agreeing with me.
Tabe
That Reed/Santana match is an interesting one - takes place in the middle of January 1984, when Santana was already a WWF full-timer.
Johnny Sorrow
Paul Boesch is pretty much King Candy from Wreck it Ralph Holy shit, that's awesome. Now I'm doing Ed Wynn calling someone a pollack.
shoe
I'll 2nd the love for Tito vs Reed. This is the match we wanted in WWF. They had some good ones, but ones that never got to this level. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/31602-tito-santana-vs-butch-reed-11384/
Matt D
You are a scholar and a gentleman. Now watch the battle royal and decide who's right about the Valentine vs Brody bits.
shoe
I'll say watching the 1984 Butch Reed so far here , combined with stuff from the Mid-South set he has a real case for most outstanding or Wrestler of the year.

I vaguely recall him getting Observer WOTY in 1984? Maybe it was earlier. I know he was thought of really highly at the time.

shoe
Black Gordman vs Jose Lothario was awesome. A total Jerry Lawler vs Bill Dundee 1998 vibe from me. My thoughts are here. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/31603-jose-lothario-vs-black-gordman-11384/
