JerryvonKramer
Was listening to Tag Teams Back Again and Kelly mentioned how Tito Santana stayed in the Strike Force gear two years after the fact. What are some other great examples of this?
Jingus
Bret stayed in the same gear (or at least the same color palette and general design) until he retired. Marty was still wearing his tassel-festooned Rockers tights for at least three or four years after they split.
NotJayTabb
Roman still dresses like he's in the Shield and still uses their ring music. Guy needs to get over it :-) How about Davey Boy? Not only kept the attire and ring music, but appropriated the team name for his own nickname. goc
Ricky Morton pretty much kept the same ring gear after joining the York Foundation and becoming Richard Morton. He turned in Summer of 91 but even in 92 he was still wearing the handkerchiefs and had the tassels.
Goodear
Ricky Morton staying in his Rock'n'Roll Express gear after joining the York Foundation was what jumped out at me when this subject first came up. It just completely undercut the heel turn that he didn't bother to repackage when he had the opportunity. Robert kept the gear as well when he came back for his matches with Richard which did nothing to help the angle. This just sort of highlights the Rock'n'Rolls never wanting to evolve since the early eighties.
KrisZ
Porkchop Cash wore his "New" Fabulous Ones tights for a year after the Bruise Brothers broke up before reforming it with Mad Dog Boyd in Mid-South

SteveJRogers
Didn't Stevie Ray wear an nWo version of the Harlem Heat singlet as Booker T moved to his trunks?
PhilTLL
I was always amused by the way Neidhart's goofy post-breakup look became the New Foundation's, Owen kept wearing it in his single run after Neidhart left, and then it became High Energy's. JRH
Rick Steiner definitely comes to mind. Also, Mark Henry originally had "WSM" on the back of his singlet to match up with MVP who had MVP on the back of his attire, but mark STILL has those initials on the back of his singlet. Then you had Al Snow as Leif Cassidy. Not only did he still wear the new rockers outfit as a singles wrestler, but when he came to ECW as Al Snow, he STILL wore the new rockers outfit for a time. Mad Dog
Marty Jannetty never really changed his gear post Rockers.

That was REALLY jarring to me when I was rewatching November To Remember '97 the other day.
Luchaundead
Bubba Ray kept the same gear plus a hat when the Dudleys broke up
Bierschwale
Marty Jannetty never really changed his gear post Rockers. It really doesn't get sadder than Marty in full Rocker dress in WCW in 1998. Especially because, of course, he could still really work. JerryvonKramer
I think there's two distinct trajectories for this: The guy who goes onto bigger and better things as a star but keeps some aspect of their tag look ... Bret, Davey Boy, Bubba Ray, etc. And then there's the guys who have basically been left behind.
Ship Canal
Did either Hardy boy change much up after going solo? I know Matt changed some very minor features but wasn't Jeff broadly the same until he started going budget Mutaface in TNA? I could be wrong there, I was taking a prolonged break from wrestling at the time the split and came back a few years later during Jeff's most sustained high level push. victory
Hawk wore the same thing after him and Animal split in 92. He wore it in ECW and WCW. Even wore it teaming up with Power Warrior in NJPW.

Guys who not only keep the outfit and look, but go as far as to change their name to their team name. Category of one, Davey Boy!
Mad Dog
You could probably throw Robert Gibson into that Davey Boy category. He was going by Rock N Roll Robert Gibson as a solo.
Jingus
Bonus points also awarded for eventually tagging up with some new partner and calling yourselves "The NEW ______" while rehashing the old gimmick. Morton and Gibson are especially noteworthy in this category, because they've both formed The New Rock 'n Roll Express with different partners at different times. Tim Evans
I think Jamie Dundee still wrestles in his PG-13 gear even after Wolfie D changed his name to Slash and got a new look. Bradshaw is another good choice after the Blackjacks broke up.
