KawadaSmile
Which is ultra sad because he's just 33 years old.
artDDP
Late to the party on this but Bugenhagen has been something of a YouTube character for a few years and seems to have enough charisma that he could do something else if the air guitar gimmick dies quickly. You may not be into heavy metal and screaming but he has a few videos of himself being an over-the-top powerlifter and a few where he's a bit more calm giving solid training advice. And, as a bonus, he prefers reading off notes in his monologue videos so he'll do well in WWE's scripted system.
SmartMark15
Ciampa is hurt, expected to have surgery and vacate the belt at the next tapings. There goes my hope for that long delayed blow off. Oh well. WALTER-Dunne should main event in Barclays unless I'm being naive about how over they'd be to the NY audience.
Ricky Jackson
Damn that sucks. Although it's somehow fitting the end of the feud is delayed by a Ciampa injury just as the beginning of feud was delayed by a Ciampa injury
rovert
Setbacks are the theme of Ciampa's career, unfortunately. The next NXT Champion comes down to either Adam Cole or Matt Riddle. NXT has a very babyface heavy roster so it is probably best to have the title on a heel so my pick would be Adam.
peachchaos
Really strong show tonight with all the tag matches delivering on top of some good storyline building packages and segments. Looks like Riddle is going after Dream, which should eliminate either of them from going for the vacant title. Seems like Cole is both the popular and natural pick to carry on with Goldie. Question is, how do we get there? My vote is for the first ever NXT Rumble but most likely we'll get something closer to a multi-man ladder match. DMJ
If the options are a rumble, a multi-man ladder match, or a tournament like they've been doing, I'd also vote Rumble. I'd lean more towards a tournament if it were a one-night deal ala the 93' KOTR or WM4, though.
peachchaos
The problem with a tournament for me is we just had Worlds Collide and the Dusty Rhodes Classic (and also the New Japan Cup).
KawadaSmile
NXT Rumble, last two people in the ring have to decide it on a traditional 1-on-1 match. You could make a babyface go the distance (maybe Gargano) and face a fresh, rested heel (possibly Cole) and generate enough drama.
NintendoLogic
Have the final four be IYH 13 rules where eliminations can come by pin, submission, or being thrown over the top rope. Actually, they should do that for the regular Rumbles as well.

KawadaSmile
Stokely Hathaway is at the PC and I couldn't be happier. A good manager role is sorely missing.
SomethingSavage
It felt like Lio Rush was on his way temporarily, but then they buried all his energy & exuberance beneath a pile of that shitty WWE dialogue that no human being would ever actually use. peachchaos
What direction would we like to see them go with Stokes? Does he go at it with a tag team act like Corny and the Midnights, or does he need a beefy heel stable like the Heenan Family or the Million Dollar Corporation? sek69
Always glad to see someone's hard work get rewarded, but I was shocked to see WWE signed him considering their stance on managers who aren't just other wrestlers with a side hustle. Managers are such a vital part of wrestling that nearly went extinct due to WWE's view on it, and I hope this won't be something that only is given a chance in NXT. Given the way they book now, a proper Heenan Family style stable would be very useful - allows them to easily create alliances (like, why are Lashley/Corbin/Drew together? A manager would easily explain that) and generate turns with guys leaving/joining. The next babyface champ (Roman?) fending off monthly challengers from a heel stable would be so easy to do, and probably more fun without the weight of the heel stable being that of an "authority figure," which has been done to death. KawadaSmile
I agree with Migs. I'd like to see him managing Babatunde first, though.

Ideally they'd do this successfully for a few months before being called up together, and then we'd get the big stable on the main roster. Zoo Enthusiast
Stoke has a lot to offer all-around. I believe his shoot job was in the theater business. Happy for him getting there. One of the best dudes.

With free agency being such a big talker for pro sports, managers vying for clients and clients trying to work managers for the most money seems like ready-made storylines for current wrestling.
