I'm pretty sure Seth Rollins is my least favorite wrestler on Earth.

 

He's bottom 5 for guys I like.

Not as much buzz for the show as I was expecting, looks pretty good on paper. But I also didn't watch the GRR so others could be more burnt out that I am. I'm attempting a live blog:

That was an AWESOME spot & set-up to the Figure-Four. That was good shit.

And they're working the figure four perfectly. The old shit still works.

I'm really digging this match but I'll never like that Superplex spot. You don't just no-sell a Superplex. Even if it's not 1985 anymore, that's still a big move.

Man I was loving the match and then Rollins did that stupid fucking superplex to falcon arrow spot and then went overboard with that kickout. Oh well, still very fun.

The finish to me is kind of spoiled, since I can't see Miz winning and taking the I/C Championship to SDL. I suppose they could do it, but if Raw doesn't have the I/C Title, they basically have no Men's singles titles.

If they cut off most of the last 3 minutes I'd have loved that match. I still liked it, but yeah the last few minutes needed to tone it down a bit.

Still a good opener for a B-level PPV.

Miz vs. Rollins

 

I'm nowhere near as high on Miz as most are, but this may have been his best match ever, and Rollins continued his recent terrific run here. Well paced, terrific selling, excellent counters and transitions, near falls that weren't overdone. This match hit on every note. If we get anything else at or above this level this show will be a massive home run.

Being called the hottest superstar on the company right now and getting the type of W he got tonight, it's nice seeing them book an IC champ as strong as this. He's also getting a main event run very soon, they don't push a narrative this strongly unless they have bigger plans. It's also nice that Rollins is this over too.

Miz costing D-Bry the win and then Cass capitalizing and winning semi-clean is the finish I've assumed they are doing since they made the match official.

Rollins now joins the likes of Alex Riley and Damien Sandow as people Miz made look like mega stars

 

They must be doing this as a squash. You don't place this match right after the blast that was Miz/Rollins if it's something to make people lose their shit.

Good opening match. I liked it more than I thought I would. Miz and Rollins are probably at the peak of their respective careers right now.

I was happy to hear them refer to the I/C Title as the "workhorse championship" too. Miz really did help restore some prestige to that championship, as goofy as that sounds.
