C.S.
So, who faces Angle at Mania in his farewell match? Drew?
Hawkeye12
I would guess Angle either finally faces the Undertaker at Wrestlemania or he'll face Cena since he was Cena's first opponent and come full circle. None of the three seemed to have any plans for the show, so putting two of them together would make sense. I did read that Cena might face Samoa Joe, which could be fun, so I'll lean towards giving Taker one of the matches he always wanted at WM but never had. ...TG
Half-joking here: Jeff Jarrett is available...
hammerva
So the Shield will still be wrestling on house shows and after TV tapings according to the promo for the RAW in DC in 2 or 3 weeks
El-P
Just now, ...TG said: Half-joking here: Jeff Jarrett is available... Yeah do it. Russo would make it a Karen on a Pole match.

That makes more sense, even though it would arguably be more appropriate for Cena's retirement match. 1 minute ago, ...TG said: Half-joking here: Jeff Jarrett is available... I actually wouldn't mind that, if their real-life history was incorporated into the build and Karen showed up on TV (complete with Braun bowing down to her, or however that silly newz site rumor went, because he's such a geek now). peachchaos
Personally I'd like to see AJ in the HBK role putting Angle out to pasture rather than the Orton match they seem to have planned. Taker or Cena seems more likely though.
KawadaSmile
It's a shame Jason Jordan isn't around anymore. Damn, do I miss him.
Strummer
Well we know Roman's Mania program now
Captain Redneck
Funny hearing Ambrose call Drew a coward since he jumped Rollins from behind a few times just recently. Also, this RAW has sucked.
Strummer
Cena or Taker would be the best opponent for Angle. They can work a super safe, basic match where Kurt (or Taker) don't have to try to kill themselves to keep up with one of the younger guys
SomethingSavage
I know it's a blind spot for most, but Angle and Drew had two REALLY good matches in TNA. And they pretty much told a similar story with the rematch being Drew improving enough to defeat Kurt on Angle's farewell tour. Although, yeah. In an ideal scenario, they would reach for someone with a WWE tie-in to Kurt.
C.S.
Too bad it won't be Jason Jordan. I fear his career is over.
hammerva
Fuck stabbing Ambrose with a pencil. Dean getting ready for some GCW action this summer
C.S.
Yeah, I don't see Dean re-signing. He's still a third-wheel geek and losing setup matches for Reigns.
KawadaSmile
If anything, Drew McIntyre is getting prepped up real nicely. This pencil action was some gruesome shit we seldom see. Him vs Roman will fucking slap.
Microstatistics
The build to HHH vs. Batista is odd. Isn't Batista 3-0 vs. HHH? Why would he be so desperate for a match? They've got the dynamic backwards. Guardians of the Independent Scene line was pretty good though, despite being wink wink.

No real reason for this to be "all Batista's ever wanted". Batista saying he quit WWE to get away from HHH, when H was on the shelf when Batista quit the first time. The only previous reference on TV, at SDL 1000 last year, was Batista simply pointing out that Triple H has done everything except beat him, so naturally it should be HHH wanting this. sek69
It kind of makes sense if Dave wanted Hunter one last time at Mania and the story was Hunter was busy doing office stuff and Dave just thought he was ducking him. Of course they'll probably never actually say any of that stuff on TV and it'll get handwaved as another "just shut up and enjoy the show" moment. He owes his entire whatever overness he ever had to stealing DDP's finisher gimmick. AJ vs Orton at Mania ? AJ is so good, this could be the best Orton match ever if he shows up. (and I am the one calling Orton the Black Hole) Not sure if he'll be able to carry Randy to his career best but AJ can certainly give Randall the first memorable Wrestlemania match of his career. It's kinda shocking that after all these years his only Mania moment is the RKO on Rollins at WM 31.
