goodhelmet Posted June 30, 2019 Author Report Posted June 30, 2019 When you have the Lucha Brothers and Young Bucks in the same match, you know what you are going to get. Quote
hammerva Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 Bring out the light tubes and barbed wire for the main event Quote
funkdoc Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 given that this is at a fighting game tournament, this match was def about playing to the live crowd i actually welcome that, given how allergic WWE is to the idea on their TV Quote
hammerva Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 It also helps that these guys are actual gamers so the references are good. I mean if Cody and/or Hangman Page tried this it could have been terrible Quote
Mad Dog Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 This is a little corny but I like that they ended the event before the unsanctioned match. Quote

I wish they had taken it one step further by removing the AEW logos from the screens, or at least changing it to a black AEW logo with "non-sanctioned" underneath or something like that, killing the colorful lights by the entrance, etc. Quote

Mad Dog Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 I didn't know Moxley was a do it yourselfer - JR. Quote
sek69 Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 They need to go full FMW and have the ring explode to end the show. Quote

Mad Dog Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 That ring is like a giant bag of holding. Quote
Mad Dog Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 What the fuck else would you put in a bucket? Quote

Log Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 Pretty sure that’s the first time I’ve seen an atomic drop used as a hardcore move. Quote
Mad Dog Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 Not as good as Double or Nothing but I was highly entertained by this show. Quote

Not everything worked, but almost all of it had stakes and felt meaningful and impactful. That's more than I can say for most WWE shows. Quote
hammerva Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 Personally I thought Janela vs Adam Page at All In was better but for the purpose of putting Moxley over as his old crazy self then it was the perfect match Quote
...TG Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 Meanwhile, Renee and Penelope Ford are in the back, wonder what kind of dumbasses they're mixed up with... Quote
Log Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 Not as good as the last show, to me. Really liked Allin/Cody and the main. Six man was fun, but not totally my cup of tea. Someone mentioned it earlier, but I would love for them to try harder to differentiate their production methods from WWE. I can’t say what that should be, but right now it’s too similar in appearance. Quote
Zoo Enthusiast Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 I was dreading that I was going to have to sit through Moxley/Omega live back when they did the first angle. Now I am pumped to see it. Quote
