sek69 Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 Ted should have offered Corey $500 to dribble a basketball 10 times, then kick it away at 9. Quote
C.S. Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 Mark Henry and Booker T look thrilled to be in the background while Racistmania runs wild, BROTHER! Quote
JHawk Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 I admittedly marked out for the Madusa-DiBiase segment. Reigns-Joe was gold while it lasted. The rest of this show has given me a headache Quote
KawadaSmile Posted July 23, 2019 Author Report Posted July 23, 2019 Austin is still the biggest star ever. And he's jacked!! Quote
WingedEagle Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 Its been over 16 years since Austin wrestled. Crazy. Quote
WingedEagle Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 Am I the only one who finds it a bit depressing watching all these former acts out there like its Old Timer's Day? Quote

No, especially when half of them were like Sami said, they weren't legends they were just people who were there at the time. Quote
KawadaSmile Posted July 23, 2019 Author Report Posted July 23, 2019 This was filler. Fun, light hearted, but filler. I liked it. Quote
Matt D Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 I don't know. I only caught bits and pieces of that, but I saw the last couple of minutes, and you watch that and you just beg for something, anything to happen. If the ship is sailing smoothly, you can have fun, light hearted filler. It's not. Quote
sek69 Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 Corey, after Nattie's music hit: "So you just mention Canada and a Hart shows up, is that how it works?" Renee: "Generally, yes" I give credit where it's due, that exchange popped me. Quote
C.S. Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 One of the greatest champions of the modern era wasn't used at all on RAW. Quote
Strummer Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 Owens challenged Shane to a match at Summerslam and says if he loses he will leave wwe. Pretty sure he will goad Shane into promising the same. Shane is getting written off which was the direction I thought when this whole deal began (although the FOX debut has me doubting that somewhat with him not being around when they start) Quote

sek69 Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 It was something to see Seth get absolutely made a geek by standing by himself like the weird kid in school with no friends while the Kliq reenacted their MSG huddle. Especially after all the effort he put into being a good company man on Twitter at the cost of his credibility, he gets to look like a fan gawking at the real stars. Quote
NintendoLogic Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 https://variety.com/2019/tv/opinion/vince-mcmahon-wwe-woes-1203273548/ Meltzer has frequently written about how WWE executives have managed to snow investors with excuses and fake metrics. An article like this appearing in a major trade publication, especially one that ran a Vince McMahon puff piece two months ago, indicates that the jig may be up. Quote
Strummer Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 Number one trade mag in the industry. It's going to be tough for wwe and their apologists to spin this but I'm sure they'll try Quote

Coffey Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 Did they cut that part out of the Hulu version? I just went to try to get a better screencap of it & it felt like it went to dark early & cut to DiBiase. Quote
Blehschmidt Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 I think you guys are missing the important part. The Kliq got over. Quote
FMKK Posted July 23, 2019 Report Posted July 23, 2019 I still can't get over that they didn't do a single thing to even try to convince anyone dipping back in to see Austin or whatever that they should check out Summerslam. Quote
