Strummer Posted August 13, 2019 Report Share Posted August 13, 2019 I mentioned that in the Seth thread. A common criticism of Seth during his 2015 run was that he had a whiny, nasally voice. I think that is a big factor in why many dislike him. Not the biggest but def. a factor and looks like Seth/Braun will be the title program? Ricochet might get a shot sooner than we think. Pretty sure we get Seth/Rico/BRAUN vs The Original Creation next week, and it's gonna be a romp. Becky's getting the best feud possible against Sasha (who should win the title), who's looking amazing as usual, and is thankfully a heel. 24/7 Title is now with Elias! However, if WWE knew beforehand that Nikki wouldn't be cleared for that Women's Tag Team title program, it makes you wonder why did they put the titles on the IIconics in the first place while they could've kept it on Sasha & Bayley and then, have them drop it to Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross. Some of their shenanigans were amusing, but the biggest issue is that they've barely wrestled on TV, and had a lengthy reign. Without time to actually be entertaining, - their count out loss against the Kabuki Warriors was fun, but was almost a one time thing - of course people are going to criticize them. The Bellas/IIconics matches almost certainly would have been unwatchable, but having the belts be the centerpiece of a prominent feud would have elevated them in prestige. The more I see of Peyton the more I wonder if they are just keeping her so she doesn't go to AEW with her husband.
