DMJ Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 Wow. Way to spotlight a bunch of your major talent - Styles, Orton, Miz - by having them all appear as extras on your big debut show. Like, what was the point of that match? Aside from teasing a Fury/Strowman confrontation? Why include guys that, presumably, are main event level guys? You just made sure anyone catching SmackDown for the first time in forever will have the lowest possible view of those guys.
sek69 Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 Fury vs Wilder is a big time money match in boxing, surprised his people would let him do any wrestling related stuff.
Strummer Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 Bryan fantastic on commentary to no surprise
FMKK Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 How the fuck are they squeezing Austin, Sting, Taker and the WWE title into half an hour?

sek69 Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 Wow, Kofi got SD Jones'd (there's a deep cut for you)
hammerva Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 Well that went exactly as expected. Anyone that thought Kofi would have a chance is either naive or a moron
C.S. Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 Would it have killed them to give Kofi a nice little 10-15 minute match? As cool as this Brock-Cain setup is, I honestly don't care about either of them and never will.
FMKK Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 At least the WWE title isn't a midcard belt anymore
FMKK Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 Velasquez kinda looks poor physically though. If you didn't know who he is, you'd think he looks like shit beside Brock.
KawadaSmile Posted October 5, 2019 Author Report Posted October 5, 2019 Very smart to get both boxing and mma people on the fox show. SmackDown Genome Force
Strummer Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 I guess Fox really does want a sports like show. Were there any backstage vignettes tonight? Other than quick interviews

hammerva Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 The main problem with Cain is that it looks like all of the things that we have been impressed with in AAA will probably not be used. I mean I want lucha Cain. It will probably be punch, kick and suplex Cain
Strummer Posted October 5, 2019 Report Posted October 5, 2019 As all this was going on tonight .Jeff Hardy was arrested on a dui again. This guy needs serious help

Vince bringing in WWE Hall of Famer Antonio Inoki as commissioner. Naoya Ogawa and his son show up. Inoki parachutes into ring to open WrestleMania. BOOK IT COWARDS

Other than quick interviews Well they did the fucking Firefly Funhouse stuff. Also, I know it's par for the course with WWE but it's disappointing that we went into this week with two advertised championship matches and one didn't take place the the other didn't last ten seconds. Not that I particularly wanted to see Brock selling for Kofi's weak offense but still, Rey vs Rollins I was interested in.
