It's odd that Vince apparently thinks enough of Austin Theory to do skits with him, yet throws him out there for Brock to use him as a coat rack before laying him out.

Speaking of, Brock's interview on Pat McAfee's radio show was awesome. He's at a place in his life where he's happier than he's been and he's having the most fun. Also the story of how his ponytail came to be was that basically his kids were like "bet you won't wear your hair in a ponytail" and he was like "bet you I will".

Boy do I really hope Austin doesn't come back for a match. He's basically legitimately the only top guy from the era not to come back and embarrass themselves. KO doing the KO Show at WM talking shit about Texas and Austin comes out to hit him with a stunner would be okay, though.

Austin is 57.

(when WWF deemed Hogan and Savage too old to be stars in the mid 90's they were 41 and 42)

At this rate, when I'm 65 if I live that long, Roman Reigns is gonna main event Mania.

I became a wrestling fan due to Steve Austin, as far as subjective favourites go, he is my all-time favourite. But I have zero desire to see him in the ring in 2022. Leave the memories alone

Wait, Austin is just 6 years older than Takashi Sugiura?

I remember when at Endless Mania, also known as WM32, there was this segment between SCSA, HBK and Foley against the League of Nations. Austin was the only one to give his opponent some shine lol

Cody Rhodes vs Steve Austin for WM

Mania results :

Steve Austin beats Dashing Cody Rhodes with the stunner in 3:16mn.

Earlier on the show Brandi appears in a backstage segment being talked down by Charlotte.

I don't really care about Austin wrestling again. But if this means he has to get into a feud and he comes back with his character turned up like he did in Tough Enough, I'd for sure watch every week to watch him cut promos and do fun segments.

If he comes back doing "what" and three catchphrases, no thanks. But I don't see Austin coming back and doing such a lazy/lame job, he cares too much about his character and performance to not sink his teeth into a feud (this is not 2002-3 when he was checked out).

Booking him for the nth time in an interview segment were he does an appearance, stuns a guy and catches beer is whatever and same old, same old. So of course that's exactly what they want to do with him :(

Austin did wind up stunning Xavier Woods, whom the next night acknowledged that he did have that stunner coming!

In all seriousness, and I kinda think this is a mega work and the Rhodes are staying with AEW, I can easily see a feud of “Reality TV Stars” with Miz/Maryse getting done even if it’s started on the Go Home show.
