I'm sure her splits-based offence does the trick for the teenage boy demographic, but as a wrestler she's...not very good. Even just standing on the apron she looks terrible. Oh, Aaliyah's sleeping! Much better role for her.

I'll take Aliyah over Raquel any day of the week. 

I almost wonder if they're winning, because they're such a middling team. It makes no sense that they made it past the first round, never mind to the finals.

The result seems like a foregone conclusion otherwise.

Surprising, but it makes sense if they want a babyface team to be the first champs in the Hunterverse so you can have that WWE Moment.

I get that it’s a surprise, but having a big tournament to make the women’s tag titles feel like a big deal, only to have them become a prop that gets put on a pretty weak team in order to build heat on a PPV match not *involving* said weak team, or the titles, is just nonsensical.

Not as much as Aliyah & Raquel winning the titles as much as there's outrage that ALIYAH PINNED THE ILLEGAL WOMAN IN THE MATCH IN DAKOTA KAI.

Looks like the honeymoon with Papa H is over for some people.

It's almost like that could have been done to give the heels a reason to demand a rematch/excuse for losing.

It's amazing how it's still extremely easy to work people, you just have to do it a different way than usual.

I mean, Aaliyah and Raquel got to have something, at least. I guess having DakIyo holding them belts while their leader had no gold in the six-woman tag team would be a weird visual.

It's amazing how Aaliyah went from being the R Truth of developmental , to main eventing Raw for the tag team titles. Mostly because they only wanted new faces in NXT 2.0 and for some reason she never got covid-endeavored.

That match wouldn't've closed out Rampage. Having people so green in the "main event" of the biggest wrestling company in the world's flagship show, after Ziggler/Theory closed the show t'other week? Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're not fussed about hour three anymore (again).

Hey to be fair they wanted to make the women's titles mean something after all the drama that happened, so I give them props for the attempt even if it won't exactly set the ratings on fire. 

I'll give Hunter the same courtesy I gave TK when AEW started, the benefit of the doubt booking wise until the evidence proves otherwise. Even though he was running NXT, he never really had final say until now so I think it's only fair to hold what happens post Vince against him.

Given HHH's recent tendancy to rehire people previously canned, I'd like to see Tegan Nox return at Cardiff. I know she recently said she's not been able to wrestle elsewhere due to visa issues, so I don't know if that could affect a comeback. Alternatively, rehire Mason Ryan.

Nice to see that when Seth isn't talking like the goofiest motherfucker possible, he can be detestable in a REALLY good way. Here's hoping for a home invasion in the coming weeks where 3 different women are supposed to be Becky in the background.

Corbin was popping off about this last night too, but I didn't really see anything other than "wow I didn't expect that" reactions. Was there really anything that bad other than I suppose the usual suspects with bad takes about everything?

Furthermore, if there was why would that be a surprise that a relatively unpushed duo being put over what seems to be the next big heel faction in the division didn't get the best reaction? It was a cool moment but it didn't really make a lot of sense booking wise.
