This seems to be a theme. We saw it from the TNA diehards when Dave was reporting all their business woes and their reaction was basically yelling FAKE NEWS before that became a meme, and then when other people started reporting the same thing there was silence. On the other hand, you have people like Bruce Pritchard and Vinny Ru who are coming off like jilted teenagers with their constant Dave bashing. That leads to all the capes coming out from Dave supporters fighting against the people who parrot those two on Twitter and it all gets fucking old fast.

Would they do multiple cash ins on the same show? Seems like having Nattie win the #1 contender's match was a set up for Carmella to cash hers in afterwards.

Dolph at least normally has decent matches (even if no one cares how they came about), Bray has the same who-gives-a-shit approach to building a match and has bad matches to boot.

I doubt there were any fans around, I'd be certain a group of wrestlers would be in a private room situation away from the regular folk. I have no doubts the particulars were probably exaggerated to one degree or another, but no fan accounts wouldn't be particularly surprising.

Mike didn't really do much in their TNA run though. Maria was the star and she played Discount Steph until the final blowoff with the wedding angle that ended up being one of the best things the company ever did.

Considering Dave's dad went from being a relatively healthy old man to on death's door in a few weeks time, I think it's possible that both WWE changed some ideas and maybe Dave wasn't on his A game. I've met Karen at a rinky dink TNA houseshow back when she was with Kurt, she's definitely a no-fucks-given take no shit personality. You can choose to believe the groveling part or not, but it seems 100% accurate from her side.
