Let's not forget HHH and Steph as an on screen couple started with her being drugged and married at a drive thru Vegas chapel.

I'm watching Slammiversary and already Don West and Robert Flores are an improvement on commentary. So far the tag title match was a fun spotfest, and DeAngelo Williams was surprisingly competent for a celebrity match. Looks like they're doing the HBK angle with James Storm who collapsed after being run into the post earlier in the strap match with EC3. ....and just when I was starting to think "well this isn't so bad" we go right to the Josh Matthews angle recapping him being discount heel Michael Cole. At least they did a tease earlier where Joseph Park hinted about relying on old friends so maybe we'll see Abyss killing Josh as payoff to all this. That would almost be worth it.

Dave's father passed away last night/this morning, and between the story in the last newsletter and Dave's comments on last night's show you can tell where he got his legendary work ethic from.

According to Dave, the match was made because Gedo thinks a world champ vs world champ main event would be huge for the first US based show. Seems odd they'd consider the ROH champ to be on that level since it doesn't seem that the ROH guys get much of a reaction on NJ shows I've watched other than maybe War Machine.

The issue is that there's really no need for a three man team on any show, even more so on a hour long one like NXT.

That's another thing, it made Carmella look like an idiot to not cash in that night since Daniel already said he was going to address the situation on TV. Could have been great heel work for her to come out and rub it in everyone's face that it doesn't matter how she won the case since she's champ now so tough shit.

Jazzy had a super quick stint in TNA where she was pushed like a monster then she completely disappeared.

I will give credit where it's due, no one in the history of wrestling has ever been as good at keeping his name in the spotlight past the point of any semblance of relevance like the Ru-meister.

Dave has had Russo fanboys @'ing him on Twitter trying to claim bringing VinnyRu back to WWE would boost their ratings. Needless to say they got destroyed like a toddler trying to play one on one with Steph Curry.

He'll probably be much better on NXT, he was great on the CWC with Bryan, Main roster production seemed to bring out the worst in him.
