  1. Kawada is first of the AJ Holy Trinity to fall. And he was ranked the highest last time too. It's still an excellent finish, but I would be interested to hear the thoughts of people who ranked Misawa and Kobashi above him.
  2. I really do not like Flair's shtick, nor do I ever want to rewatch any match of his again, but Loss is absolutely right in saying that no one has been subject to as much scrutiny as Flair. Hansen, for example, was being unanimously praised without any disagreement until Matt started speaking about his issues with him.
  3. His relatively underwhelming 80s knocked him down from #1 to #3 in my list. I clearly underestimated the backlash against him.
  4. I think Liger will fall next. Shame, because he was comfortably in my top 10.
  5. Rey was a transcendental babyface, to the point where Vince McMahon had to give him the world title twice. That counts more, although I love Eddie.
  6. Jumbo didn't make the top 10. No one is safe haha. Really happy for Rey-Rey.
  7. I think either Rey or Lawler will drop. Most probably Lawler, but it would still be a huge jump, as he was 42 in 2006, IIRC.
  8. I thought it was well-accepted that Warrior failed as a draw when asked to follow Hogan? I remember jdw talking about how they were drawing so poorly that they reduced the house show circuits from 3 to 2. So many discussions have happened on why he couldn't draw, with people saying that Hogan sabotaged his reign at WM 6 with his fallen King performance post-match.
  9. I am now actually thinking I ranked Bock lower than I should have, and I had him in my top 15. All I had going for him was a pack I DL'd from XWTClassics, and if I had the AWA set, then he surely would have ranked higher. No idea if any seller will ship it to India at a reasonable price though. And fuck you all, Eddie is awesome.
  10. If the face of my country in pro wrestling is compared sincerely to Akira Taue, one of the best ever, I feel I have achieved nirvana and will die a happy man.
  11. The Taker matches are very good, the final 4 match where he wins the title is excellent, and I think the Canadian Stampede match is an all-time classic.
  12. After he updates the HHH comparison thread. Come on Dylan. We've been waiting far too long!
  13. It would probably be too much work, but is there a way we could have a "PWO-Only" list as well? Not as a replacement, but as a complement to the main list. I am guessing it would be comprised of people who post here and have 200 posts in the forums or something - that can be debated. If Grimmas is short on time, he could explain the formula to me and I would do the mathematics.
  14. I don't have a back-up of my list. Is there any way I can have a look at my list? My laptop crashed and many files went bust.
  15. Haha, I didn't like the Dustin as Costner comparison too. Mainly because I find Costner really boring, and I have never found Dustin boring. He has been terrible some times, but never boring. Savage as Nicholson is a really on-point comparison. Down to their later career, ehich has seen them going through the motions and giving a patented but predictable performance. Still very good, of course, and sometimes great, but not the same magic you used to see. And I will reiterate: in no universe, this or alternate, does Dances with Wolves beating Goodfellas for Best Picture makes sense.
  16. I had Austin at no. 12, and I am now feeling guilty. *slinks off quietly into into the shadows*
  17. Is Taue the only one whose rank has remained unchanged from 2006?
  18. I am glad that the Team Austin v. Team Bischoff match was mentioned. It's probably the only time when I have liked his ridiculously exaggerated and theatric selling and facial expressions. I am curious at seeing some saying he was a good grappler. I can see why he would be considered an excellent worker, but I don't think working holds was his strong suit. I would like to see someone explain that.
  19. Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels are still in this, and will likely end up very close to each other. Man, if this was the late 90s/early 200s, I am pretty sure people would have been exchanging death threats by now. Bret Hart beating El Dandy in the countdown is oddly fitting.
  20. This is legit funny. I thought the same thing as well haha.
  21. Curious to see where Styles will drop. He was 301 in 2006 and received a grand total of 2 votes, so this has to be the biggest leap. Unless he has already appeared, and I have missed him like a complete doofus.
  22. I can imagine Grimmas tapping his figers and laughing at all of us heathens as we discuss and whine and speculate on who's number one and number 10. The Force is with him.
  23. Kong was my no. 15. This is sad.
  24. Oh come on. Robinson down but not Lesnar? And I even voted for Lesnar, but this is too much.
  25. I don't even remember where I had Breaks ranked, but his ranking is a disappointment. Had I watched more, he'd totally have been higher. I was thinking the people who had seen much more WoS would rank him considerably high.
