Yeah, sorry, I copied and pasted the press release for those that might not have known what it was. The interactive stuff when you know it's all worked is ridiculous at this point. As is the donation to charity at the end for the winner of said work.

Was interested in what the rest of you thought about this. It seems...weird, is the only word I can find to describe it. It almost seems like it would have been better to have made it some type of challenge thing with events like a reality show instead of intergender tag matches. FACEBOOK AND WWE® LAUNCH LIVE IN-RING SERIES ON FACEBOOK WATCH STAMFORD, Conn., December 13, 2017 – Facebook and WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced a new in-ring series, Mixed Match Challenge™, that will stream live in the U.S. exclusively on Facebook on Tuesday nights beginning January 16 at 10 p.m. ET. The 12-episode series will air on Facebook Watch and feature WWE Superstars from both the Raw® and SmackDown® Live rosters competing in a single-elimination mixed tag-team tournament to win $100,000 to support the charity of their choice. Each 20-minute episode will reflect a progressive approach to production, with elements optimized for mobile consumption, experimentation and social interaction. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to select match-ups, match stipulations and more, on Facebook. “As we continue to expand our strategic partnership with Facebook, this new series, Mixed Match Challenge, jointly reflects our innovative approach to content distribution and fan engagement,” said Michelle Wilson, WWE Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer. “This show will deliver the action and excitement our passionate fan base is accustomed to while offering new production elements and social experiences that only Facebook can provide.” “As a leader in entertainment innovation, WWE is an ideal partner to demonstrate how the live sports viewing experience can be reimagined on Facebook Watch,” said Dan Reed, Facebook Head of Global Sports Partnerships. “Mixed Match Challenge is a new competition produced specifically to take advantage of the reach, interaction and ongoing engagement enabled by our platform. Fans will be able to directly influence and interact with the in-ring action, follow the rivalries and storylines in between events, and connect with one another as the drama unfolds. We're excited for the WWE community to come together on our platform to watch some of the biggest Raw and SmackDown LiveSuperstars, and engage with WWE like never before.” “Mixed Match Challenge demonstrates WWE’s flexibility in creating and producing compelling content across platforms in a media landscape that is evolving each day,” said Jayar Donlan, WWE Executive Vice President, Digital & Social Content. “The social interaction leading up to and during each show will connect WWE Superstars with our massive fan base on Facebook in more ways than ever before.” Mixed Match Challenge Participants Mixed Match Challenge is a Raw vs. SmackDown Live tournament, where male and female Superstars team up to determine which combination of strength, skill, athleticism and experience reigns supreme. Fans will have the opportunity to vote on Facebook for the final competitor from the Raw roster, as well as which tag team member of The New Day will be added to the SmackDown Live roster. Teams will be announced beginning Thursday, January 4. Alexa Bliss™ Becky Lynch® Alicia Fox® Bobby Roode™ Asuka™ Carmella™ Bayley™ Charlotte Flair® Braun Strowman® Jimmy Uso™ Enzo Amore™ Lana® Finn Bálor® Naomi® Goldust® Natalya® Nia Jax™ Rusev® Sasha Banks® Sami Zayn® The Miz® Shinsuke Nakamura® Final Fan Vote Final Fan Vote (A member of The New Day) The unique storylines for Mixed Match Challenge will continue between episodes across WWE’s Facebook Pages with short-form videos and social content. WWE will also promote the series across its extensive digital and social footprint, including a new Facebook Watch show Page dedicated to Mixed Match Challenge. I like how there are "jbl" speakers. Of course, this isnt the first time Toyota and the WWF/E have met: UNBEATABLE TRACTION! Those old ads are great. -
Hopefully they filmed it for a future network special. Sounds like it was a good show with a good crowd. We get 2 cage matches, the return of "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes, and Arn does a spinebuster on Dolph Ziggler. Hell yeah I hope this is on the Network as a special Although I could have sworn the Rock N Roll Express was supposed to wrestle Anderson and Gallows and that didn't happen Yeah, I saw they were supposed to wrestle too but looks like it was changed to just an appearance and promo.

I laugh every time the Toyota Camry commercial that uses John Cena's theme music comes on. -

Things I am currently thankful for in wrestling this year: 1. AJ Styles 2. Good tag team matches. Nothing beats a good tag team match for me. 3. NWA/WCW concepts like WarGames and Starrcade being revived and treated with respect. 4. The plethora of easy to access wrestling, from tv to streaming to DVD's. 5. PWO, a great place to talk wrestling with great people. Happy Thanksgiving everybody. -
Killian Daine really impressed me and hopefully Alexander Wolfe didn't hurt himself too bad on the table spot.
-
Not the worst Wargames match ever and not the best. I'd put it in the middle but I was entertained.
-
Dream vs Black was a lot of fun. Ohno's offense was odd and limited in that match. Big boots and elbows and not much else.

In what was his 7th retirement/indefinite period of absence. Kouraken looked dangerously full around 2000+ level which despite what ajw may have said is more than the building can hold and still be somewhat legal. The best part of the night was asking for his retirement ceremony to be done early in the night so his elderly mother could get home safely. How close is that to the record, probably held by Terry Funk? -
Enjoyed this. Thanks!

I'm kind of sick of everything good being saved for Mania, especially if Mania is going to be a bloated show that's not fun to sit through like the last two years. I like them doing fun stuff during football season. Well I wasen't all that impressed with Wyatt/Orton! It was the piss break match for me. Never really see why people like Bray, Alberto, Miz have been WWE Champion when guys like Piper, Jake, Rude, Perfect never got that chance to run with the belt. Different eras. WWE itself has become the draw instead of who is champion, at least in WWE's eyes. Plus the brand splits provided more opportunities to experiment and give more people the chance to be champion.

Copied and pasted from Wikipedia for your reading pleasure. Mahal wrestled for Reality of Wrestling (ROW) under the name Raj Singh at their summer iPPV, ROW Summer of Champions 2014, defeating Jasper Davis.[62] On October 24 at All Star Wrestling (ASW) in Vancouver at the live event Fright Night Live, Singh teamed with his cousin Gama Singh Jr. to defeat Kyle Sebastian and Collin Cutler to win the ASW Tag Team Championship.[63] Between 2014 and 2015, he appeared in Puerto Rican promotion the World Wrestling Council (WWC) against local star Ray Gonzalez.[64][65] He also participated in Qatar Pro Wrestling (QPW) Souq Waqif Championship tournament in April 2015, where he ended up as first runner up.[66] On May 5, Singh made his debut for Japanese promotion Inoki Genome Federation (IGF), losing to Wang Bin.[67] In 2016, he also wrestled for The Great Khali's wrestling promotion Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE) in India.[68]

As of this podcast a couple of days ago he's still there. He says he was supposed to have a match at Bound For Glory but since his opponent at the show left Impact, he was left without a match. https://audioboom.com/posts/6453777-074-bound-for-glory-kongo-kong -

WWE released the rules for the Wargames match at the next Takeover: The three-member teams of SAnitY (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe & Killian Dain), Undisputed ERA (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly), and The Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) & Roderick Strong will wage war inside a massive steel cage that surrounds TWO rings. All three teams will be contained inside separate shark cages by the entranceway, with a member from each team (as chosen by his respective squad) starting the match. After five minutes, the remaining members from one team will be released from their shark cage and allowed to enter the match. When another three-minute period elapses, the remaining members from a second team are released from their shark cage and enter the match. Following another three-minute period, the final team’s members are released from their shark cage and enter the match. Once all three teams have entered the WarGames Match, a victory can be attained via pinfall or submission.

Wrestlers or Acts You Hated But Turned The Corner On

HBK Shawn Michaels. Loved the Rockers, but never took to HBK in singles until after he came back from retirement in 2002. Then I grew to appreciate him. -
That was embarrassing to watch, his promo had no flow or life to it just spewing a bunch of clichés "each and every one of you" really? Also does he have an illness or problem with his voice or has it been that long since I last heard him speak? For your sanity do not go to the comments of that video. I believe he has a lisp that sometimes shows up in his speaking. https://mobile.twitter.com/codyrhodes/status/804489475082645504?lang=en

It wasn't great, it wasn't good, but I had fun watching the main event.
