I am unhappy in general with this new Vault YouTube channel because a lot of stuff they upload is clipped.

WWE TV 07/15 - 07/21 Football is, in fact, not coming home
TheDuke replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
I really enjoyed the Carmelo Hayes vs Andrade match on Smackdown. At times they made it feel like they were really struggling to beat each other. I'm not sure if that was due to great psychology and selling or due to mistiming and botches but I enjoyed the end product more than the typical Smackdown match. -
WWE TV - 6/24 - 6/28 - Chad Gable Is The New Undertaker

I great place for him could be serving the hot dogs at the concession stand, or collecting tickets at the door. And the always need people to setup and take down chairs before and after the show. -
My favorite AEW TV match is by far FTR vs. Bullet Club Gold (Jay White and Juice Robinson) 2 out of 3 falls from AEW: Collision July 15, 2023. It is the only AEW episode that I haven't deleted from my PVR and is one of my favorite matches of the 20s.

No. It was just obvious from the finish that the spot was supposed to be Jax tries to hit Jade with chair but Jade grabs chair mid swing, stopping it from hitting her, then takes it away and hits Jax with it leading to DQ. It just looked to me like that was not what happened, it looked like Jax actually hit Jade before Jade got the chair.

It looked to me like during the finish of the Jade Jax match that Jax actually hit Jade in the head or neck with the chair before Jade grabbed it. I kind of hope they bring Haku in as King Haku. That way if Toma Tonga wins they could have 2 kings in the family. I wonder if that big guy in the overalls in the audience is related to Hillbilly Jim or Uncle Elmer.

"Joe, I thought this motion picture was called 'Christmas Sleigh.'" "I can handle this. What are you doing here?" "I own a sleigh. I don't see what this has to do with--" "No, no. 'Slay, slay.' Not 'sleigh,' but 'slay.' S-L-A-Y." "What?" "It's about an alien from outer space. He comes and terrorizes a bunch of kids over Christmas vacation." "Terrorizes children, did you say!? At Christmastime?!!"

I really enjoyed in the Orange Cassidy match every time Brody King hit OC he just fell straight down.

Survivor Series 87 is where they started having the Big 4 shows. Royal Rumble was only a TV special the first year, but starting in November they had Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, and then Summerslam from Fall 87 to Summer 88. So that would be a fitting breaking point between the 2 eras.

So they are gonna go out for ice cream on a ride-on lawnmower?

Well, I liked the puppets...

Any info on where this can be watched in Canada?

I thought that seemed kind of weird. Do you think maybe when they were still going with the original plan of Rock vs Roman, that Rock was going to win? And maybe that belt was created to replace the current Universal belt for the time period that Rock held it?
-
It's kinda weird they get all 3 Judgment Day matches out of the way the start of the first night Wrestlemania.
-
Usually I don't like ladder matches, but I thought this one was laid out in a fun way.
-
The way Michael Cole worded his explanation about the tag belt match that the match wont end until both belts are retrieved makes me think they are going to have a screwy finish that will lead to having separated Raw and Smackdown Tag belts again.

How do you miss somebody's hand when shaking their hand and grab the drawstring of their pants instead?
-
Yes, I feel like in other recent years WWE didn't really care about the WM under card so I didn't care, but this year it looks like they have been building all the stories. I really feel like they missed a chance on an interesting dynamic by not having Fantasma del Legado in the Tag Team ladder match leading us to wonder if they would help Judgment Day or try to win the belts for themselves, which could tie into the story of where Dom's loyalty lies.

WWE TV - 03/04 - 03/09 Dom vs GUNTHER is my type of bullshit
TheDuke replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
I don't know about Nia. I remember there being one point when Becky drop-kicked her out of the ring and it looked like Nia was barely grazed and it looked like she slowly turned and wandered towards the ropes and gently let herself down to the floor outside the ring. -
I really liked the Steve Corino/Kevin Kelly commentary when I used to watch ROH. However I tend to like my commentary to be funny.

WWE TV 02/26 - 03/03 Why do people keep on doing live action ATLA adaptations?
TheDuke replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
If Christian ever returns to WWE he can join the Bloodline by telling us that he is Roman's father. -
Funny I always thought he was older. That means he was only in his early 40s when the Four Horsemen started and I always saw him as an old man at that time.

I might try hiring whatever British wrestlers were still around and in good wrestling shape and try running the company with World of Sport style match rules with the rounds system and British psychology. Like, I would hire whoever would have been the contemporaries of Regal and Finlay that weren't hired somewhere else.
