  1. Wow this is awful.
  2. This show was too long and too boring. I am surprised Miz Rollins was the best match, as at the time I was watching it I didn't think it was that good, other then Miz's little heel things he does. I liked Miz's promo on the post show as well. Reigns Joe was really disappointing because of how boring it was. I no longer think Reigns is that great on his own, he really depends on the opponent I feel, since both Joe and Lesnar matches the last few weeks were not that good. Of course, Cass seemed awful and really brought down Daniel Bryan. Watching NXT, I feel scared for Gargano, Ciampa, Strong, etc being called up to the main roster as I imagine they will be misused. Face Braun Stroman and goofy JTTS Rusev is really going to kill off their popularity soon too, and there is not much left to be excited about.
  3. I finally got around to watching those 2 episodes of All Star while listening to Kelly and Landry's podcast commentary. I have to say this show does seem more enjoyable then I would have expected based on the 70's WWF MSG shows or Spectrum or whatever footage I have already seen. It is crazy seeing a young Roddy Piper as a babyface in WWF. I keep thinking that face Piper would do really good against Monster Heels, but I never really see him put in those situations. His fired up babyface routine just seems like it would fit so well against a seemingly invincible opponent, like he could probably do a really good "refusing to quit no matter the odds" kind of story line. I do agree that it seems so strange that 40 year old wrestlers in the 70s look so old and broken down, and today half the top guys in WWE are like close to 40 and still look buff.
  4. Maybe the new XFL will play all their games in Saudi Arabia?
  5. In Canada he would be called Zed Man.
  6. I don't think I can handle staring at Bruce and Conrad for a whole episode. I kind of think if they can't pay to have a "talk show" style set and professional cameras like the other WWE Network versions of podcasts, they should forgo the interview style for these and instead maybe do running commentaries over footage of actual matches
  7. I didn't see a topic for it, but if anybody is interested, the podcast Inside The Smoke Filled Arena which is hosted by Kelly and Landy is basically a follow up to this. It is audio only so you have to time it up with the Network. It is basically Mystery Titans for All Star Wrestling. I happened to see it show up in the PWO podcasts. I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet since there is way too much on the Network I want to watch right now, but I love the Titans and appreciate the work they have been putting out in all the projects they are still involved in.
  8. This was really great man. I feel bad that it is so long between episodes but I understand there is a lot more work put into this then Worldcast.
  9. I am so happy with all the archive stuff on the Network in the vault section now. It's funny because I originally ordered the Network specifically for the cheaper PPV's. However, Fastlane is on tonight and I am seriously questioning "do I actually want to watch Fastlane? or do I want to spend that time watching more 80's wrestling on the network?" LOL
  10. Wait a minute. I don't watch Joshi, so forgive me for being a little confused, but is the Asuka in Pro Wrestling Wave a different person from the WWE Asuka? I'm assuming WWE isn't letting her go over to participate in a Japanese tournament, but I guess I'm also not really sure why they would name WWE Asuka after another Joshi wrestler instead of just letting her keep her Joshi name...
  11. I only just got a chance to listen to this now, but this episode is hilarious! I guess I didn't realize how much I miss the titans. I am hoping you guys will do another alternate reality special in March when this All Star Wrestling footage goes up hopefully with Pete as there is bound to be more actual wrestling and less silly skits.
  12. I would love this if, for WWF feuds that had matches from MSG or the Spectrum or other house shows that were taped, if they included the local promos for those specific matches that only aired on the syndicated programming in the NY or Philly or whatever area. One of my favorite things to watch growing up was the promos for the local house shows on Superstars or whatever, and I always feel like that is missing from the Network and from the DVDs they have put out.
  13. I thought the final segment on Raw should have had something more exciting then Triple H just hitting Angle. Like maybe a pedigree or a shot with the sledgehammer or something. I like Rhonda's facial expressions, and the way she looked during this segment. it felt believable that she was feeling something. I wonder if John Cena will get a last minute match at Fastlane now to try to boost buys and network subscriptions on the final brand specific pay per view.
  14. I like the Rhonda Rousey promo, mainly because it was different from the way everybody else talks.
  15. Oops, I meant Mandy Rose.
  16. I am kinda hoping Amber Rose/Goldust gets picked for that extra slot in the bracket for fan's choice or whatever it is.
  17. My biggest fear is that I would see the same guys every month, and would rarely see fresh talent getting the longer pay per view matches. My hope is that they would go back to 12 "pay per views" per year then, and would go back to having more non pay per view network "specials" that might showcase more undercard talent.
  18. I like the song "Obsession," and it is a better song, but I do like the generic replacement theme song they use for the Saturday Night Main Event episodes on the Network. I think it does a good job of hyping you up for the matches you are about to see. And it sounds like it fits the era. Was there a time where this song was used for Main Event instead of Obsession in the original run?
  19. It was interesting during the Ivory Hall of Fame video showing clips of GLOW and of Right To Censor. I guess those are the two most memorable things Ivory did. It's interesting seeing somebody from the original GLOW go into the hall of fame when the Netflix GLOW is making such a big deal this past year. And it's fun seeing clips from Right To Censor. I am kind of worried to go back and watch RAW on the network from their era, as I am afraid I might find that RTC was boring and uninteresting and not the great midcard heel group I thought it was at the time.
  20. Is most of Bloopers, Bleeps, & Bodyslams just clips from Tuesday Night Titans? Because they already have Tuesday Night Titans on the network, so have that VHS seems kind of redundant.
  21. All the 80's Coliseum tapes that went up just seem to me to be clips from other things. I am guessing 1990 with Supertape 1 is the first tape of the ones that were uploaded that has exclusive matches taped specifically for CHV. I noticed the 80's Wrestlefest tapes are missing, they start with Wrestlefest 90, and I believe those matches were exclusive to those tapes, so I am wondering why they weren't included.
  22. I love midget wrestling! I am disappointed that they didn't do the "bite the referee's butt" spot though. How can you have a midget match and not have anyone biting the ref's butt? In fact this match had almost no comedy in it. There was one funny spot though where the masked midget jumped from the ring apron, did a backflip, and fell face first on the outside floor! And then the unmasked midget was so surprised at what happened, that he fell over too! Hilarious! 4 stars. (Would have been 6 stars if somebody's butt had been bit).
  23. I really enjoyed Sami Zayn's work in this match as the cowardly heel. Trying to avoid getting tagged by hopping from one side of the post to the other was pretty fun. I liked seeing him leave the ring when he first tagged in to try to get away from Braun. It was a really interesting dynamic where Sami was the heel when the men were in the ring, but Alexa was the heel when the women were in the ring. It's also a bit weird seeing Braun be a scream monster who just wants to hurt people on Raw, and then seeming him act kind of goofy here on Mixed Match Challenge. I am starting to wonder now though if Braun and Alexa will win the whole tournament since their act so far seems to be the best one.
  24. The problem with watching a good match like this, is when I go back to watch the regular WWE programming, I keep thinking "but this could be so much better!"
