How's yout backstage atmosphere going? We haven't had an update for that in quite some time.

I can somewhat understand not wanting to keep the name "Bully Choke", at least from WWE perspective. But CAPTAIN'S HOOK??? This is just so, so bad. . .

Gagne-Metrics is fantastic and hilarious and should be shown and tought in every PE class ever around the world!

Although I'm quite interested in seeing how it will be done, the idea of actually watching the movies makes my stomach hurt. I have NO desire whatsoever in doing this.

To his credit, Bo seems to have slimmed down quite a bit. Ir maybe it's just his neoutfit that's oing him favors. While being all about invoking emotions in people, I hated the Sasha segment. With the list of injuries and the sometims really emotional retirement segments, this just felt wrong to me. I can't really put it into words, but I really really got a strong negative feeling out of it.

Seems like the Revival vs. Ciampa/Gargano feud isn't over. Awesome!

I liked Kendrick in his earlier WWe tenure. I am absolutely IN LOVE with him now! By far the most impressive guy in all the tournament, and even though it was pretty much a foregone conclusion for Ibushi, I was roothing so hard for Kendrick here and was literally on the edge of my seat in that final Bully Choke after the top rope spot, which btw. was a nice throwback to the finish in his second round match.

I like Kevin Owens. I really do. Why? There's a couple of reasons. First off, he might not be that typical championship material, but damn he's made it to the top pretty much everywhere he went. And that's not becaus he's a darling or something. Sure, that might have helped him in WWE and NXT, but I rather think it is because of his willingness to do what is asked and gathering momentum and support by delivering good stuff. I think his character work is great. ust a jackass who's in constant fights with pretty much everyone he sees who is on his level or below, but always ducking before someone with power is someting we all know, and we all know someone who does it and loathe them for it. He's just a genuine jackass. And, not unlike some people here, I have a feeling, he's mastered the art of trolling. Also and sometimes especially in his matches. Everyone likes to talk about how in these spotfests the little nuances and everything are missing, but when they occur in one of these matches, they get overlooked. I think it was MITB where he ran towards a ladder which was propped up with someone stuck in it, then almost stopped ded in his tracks, went around the ladder and slapped the guy. THIS is staynig in character, pissing off any- and everybody. And he does these little things all the time. So yeah, I'm glad that KO is the champ. But i don't see any need to hate on somebody who doesn't share that opinion. I've been watching wrestling pretty much my entire life, and watching Raw and Smackdown weekly for about ten years at this point. It's not always great, but if I'd be so fed up with it that I'd have the deire to constantly bitch and moan about it, I'd just stop. And in stopping, I'd just, I dunno, leave it behind me and let it be. Because, after al, it is a hobby. A hobby one can get very passionate about, but it should not come to the point where I get disgruntled about it...

So, here's how it's gonna go down... HHH/NXT invasion storyline on Raw, Steph enlists the held of Lesnar and Heyman, the storyline gets dragged 'til Wrestlemania where Lesnar beats the NXTguys in a... let's say, 10 on 1 handicap match. The next night on Raw, Trips sees the failure of his ways and makes up with Steph, which leads to her cutting the bonds with Lesnar and Heyman, who are, justifiedly so, upset and demand retribution. This leeads to SummerSlam 2017, where in the main event Steph BEATS Lesnar clean in the middle of the ring anfter 4 Pedigrees, thus avenging the SummerSlam loss her husband took (then) 5 years ago.

Honest to god, that gave me goosebumps!

Nice desperation attempts there, use any- and everything to your advantage. Could work, you seem to know the people you have to appeal to.

If someone handed me this and I'd read it, I don't think I'd have much of a choice but going there.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?
Gutenberger replied to Loss's topic in Megathread archive
I just saw a Youtube clip of Broken Matt Hardy and Brother Nero being confronted by The Decay... Has TNA now fully committed to being a complete and utter freak show or WTF is going on there? -
If true, you just made my day. Thanks.

Does someone know how many episodes they taped in Brooklyn, just so i know how many weeks of irrelevant stuff I'll have to sit through?

Swann vs. Dorado was a fun spotfest, but nothing special at all. Didn't matter to me who would've won, so no positive or negative feelings there. Gulak vs. ZSJ was a much better outing for Sabre than his first match, but that doesn't mean anything since said first match was complete garbage form his side. I still think Gallagher is MILES ahead of him, and also thought Gulak looked way better than Zack. I just don't get the hype. Yeah, he can bend. So what? I was rooting so much for Gargano that his loss against Perkins is tmy first real disappointment in someone getting eliminated. I know it was retty much unrealistic that he would win, but I had hopes. Although perkins has done a great job in his two matches and is not at all undeserving, I simply wanted to see Gargano advance. So, the only one in the quarter finals who, in my eyes, has no right to be there whatsoever is Noam Dar, and he's pretty much guaranteed to be eliminated next round.

Which debut intrigued or underwhelmed you the most?
Gutenberger replied to JaymeFuture's topic in Pro Wrestling
Y2J. What a great debut, building anticipation with the millenium clock and then having him interrupt The Rock. Why hasn't anyone mentioned this yet? -

I was really excited for the debut of Kizarny. I just like stuff that is a little, and maybe sometimes more than a little, weird and strange. And all these vignettes with him talking basically gibberish and standing on fairs (I've been a lifelong funfair visitor myself) just really peaked my interest. Well, we all saw what became of that... -
Qu'est-ce que c'est ? It's just the feeling I get from her when she smiles at her opponent, at the same time cute and malicing. I can't help but picture her in a horror movie, stalking guys and taking revenge.

Wow. Just wow. An amazing hour of TV. I hated seeing Tajiri lose, but I have a feeling that as this tournament continues I'll probably have this feeling more often than not. Ibushi vs. Alexander was outlandish. I was so certain at the beginning Ibushi was going to win, but that kick after the brainbuster really REALLY got me. I did NOT want to end this match. And the end with HHH coming out and basically saying "I hear you, don't worry" was awesome as well. Anyone else interested in a Tajiri vs. Ibushi match with them jst kcking each others heads and limbs off for half an hour or so?

Bobby Roode's music is GLORIOUS! Man, Asuka is so great. With no effort whatsover she just exudes "psycho-killer".
