UWF Presents Dangerous Uprising! 07-29-1987 Dallas, Texas The Sportatorium Opening Contest Eric Embry vs Chris Benoit {This match has been building for weeks. Embry is upset about Benoit costing him the TV Championship. Benoit is trying to make a name for himself. Ross makes sure to mention that Benoit might be young but he is hard hitting and growing every week. This match starts off pretty quick. Embry is teaching Benoit a lesson and doing all that he can to put him away but yet this young gun just won't back off. Embry though is using every trick in the book to put the young gun away. Benoit counters a clothesline attempt and drops Embry with a kick to the stomach and a snap suplex! Benoit is looking to the top ropes but Embry though is there to shake the ropes. Benoit crotches the top rope Embry drags Benoit off the ropes. Embry looks out to the crowd and drops Benoit with a Fisherman Suplex! 1....2.....3!! Embry has put Benoit away! The fans are letting him hear it as Embry has put the young Benoit down! {Brady Boone cuts a promo on Mike Shaw and says tonight he puts the big man down!} Big Van Vader vs Mike Graham {An interesting scene here as Woman isn't with Vader who is by himself! This masked mountain of a man just looks intimidating as all hell! Mike Graham has the task of trying to beat this monster and it goes about as expected! Vader just completely demolishes Graham with a charging body blow and drops everyone! Vader picks up Graham and tosses him into the buckles. Vader comes charging full speed and body splashes Graham! Vader grabs Graham and drops him with a Powerbomb! 1....2....3!! Big Van Vader has won this match in decisive fashion in about 4 minutes!} {Embry with a promo where he calls out Benoit and says that he is in the rearview and now he is heading for the TV Championship!} Mike Shaw with Rip Rogers vs Brady Boone This new alliance of Rogers and Shaw prove damaging to Boone! Rogers plays the distractor for most of the match which keeps throwing Boone off everytime he is about to take over this match. Shaw grabs Boone after a leg trip and drops a big leg drop across the back of his neck! Shaw makes the cover 1....2...3! Shaw isn't done though as him and Rogers are putting the boots to Boone but this is when to the ring comes Cocoa Samoa! He makes the save for Boone! The fans are cheering as Samoa wants to fight but Rogers and Shaw head out!} {A promo with Dibiase, Borne and Sheik! They go over their upcoming matches! They are showing off the gold! Borne says Hercules goes down tonight as Dibiase makes sure to say that he knows Duggan is not 100 percent and he knows that knee is hurt and he is going to put Duggan down tonight!} The Great Muta vs Downtown Bruno Mystery! {Muta is just in the corner as Bruno demands the house microphone! Bruno is cutting a promo on Muta and says that Bruno broke his bank to make sure Muta gets taught a lesson and that is when out from the crowd comes DICK MURDOCH! The fans can't believe it! We haven't seen him since Dibiase beat him. Murdoch seems to have sold out for the money. Muta though is just mysterious as Murdoch starts his attack. This match goes about 8 minutes! Muta though is no slouch and Murdoch can't seem to get the read on Muta but the fans though get an unhappy ending when Bruno leaps on the apron but that is when Murdoch comes charging with a massive Clothesline to the back of Muta's head! Murdoch quickly grabs Muta and BRAINBUSTER! 1....2....3!! Muta has lost this match but the bigger story is Downtown Bruno has made an alliance with Dick Murdoch!} {A promo with Woman and The Barbarian! Woman says that she has sold the contract of Big Van Vader but won't say who she sold his services to! Woman says though her main focus is making sure Lex Luger loses the UWF Championship tonight!} UWF Television Championship Matt Borne(c) vs Hercules {The Mighty Hercules has this crowd in an uproar! He has that chain wrapped around his neck and makes Borne bail out of the ring when he starts swinging the chain around the ring! Hercules is forced to put the chain up by that referee Danny Davis! Hercules is complaining but that is when Borne starts the attack from behind! Borne is going to work and attacking Hercules. This match goes about 12 minutes! Hercules gets his offense in with his massive power. Borne though is no slouch and keeps up his attack. Hercules catches Borne into the Full Nelson and the fans are going CRAZY! Hercules is going to make Borne tap out! The fans are cheering him on but Borne has fought himself to the ropes. Borne is touching the ropes with his feet! That is when Hercules is refusing to let go of the hold! Davis is screaming at Hercules who looks upset! Hercules lets go of the hold and gets in the face of Davis who is showing his patch off and demands Hercules backs up! Borne slips from behind and ROLL UP! 1..2..3!!! It's a FAST COUNT! Borne retains the TV Championship as Hercules is PISSED! Borne leaves the ring as soon as possible but Danny Davis isn't so lucky! Hercules grabs Davis by his pants as he was trying to bail out! Borne has the TV Title and just leaves! Hercules grabs Davis and the fans are going crazy when he locks Davis into the FULL NELSON! The fans are going crazy as other officials are coming down the ramp and Hercules is NOT breaking the hold! Hercules finally breaks the hold and Davis is some serious pain! The bigger story Dibiase's paid off official has made sure Borne keeps the TV Title!} {We get a promo with Jim Duggan! He says the knee isn't 100 percent but he is going to do whatever it takes to beat Ted Dibiase! Duggan says the fans of the UWF need a hero to believe in and Duggan is that man! Diabise will pay up tonight and he will make sure of it!} Special Guest Referee - Bill Watts Lumberjack Match (Lumberjacks have leather straps UWF North American Championship Ted Dibiase(c) vs Jim Duggan {This match has a BIG TIME feel to it! Dibiase has the North American Championship showing it off! Duggan has the right knee heavily taped! The lumberjacks are all around the ring! Dibiase and Duggan have one hell of a brawl! This match is hard hitting and these men are doing all they can to beat one another. Dibiase is sure to work over that knee of Duggan much to the dismay of the crowd. Watts does a great job at keeping the action clean. The fans lose their minds when Duggan counters a charging Dibiase and sends him over the top rope to the floor and that is when guys like Chris Benoit, Mike Graham, and even The Mighty Hercules are able to welt up the back of DIbiase with massive shots from the belt! This of course brings out the heels and they are starting a fight with the others! We have COMPLETE CHAOS! Punches are being thrown, men are whipping one another! Dibiase has snuck into the ring as Watts is screaming for these men to get it together! Duggan is distracted as well but that is when Dibiase is able sneak up behind Duggan and drive his knee into the back of Duggan! Dibiase grabs Duggan and locks on this choke type hold! Duggan is trying to fight back but Dibiase keeps the hold on! Duggan is fading away as Watts checks on Duggan! We get the arm raise! 1 time! 2 Times! 3.....NOOOOO! DUGGAN IS FIGHTING BACK! Dibiase leaps on the back and Duggan slams Dibiase into the buckles! Dibiase has no choice but lets go of the hold and holding his back! Sheik leaps on the apron and that is when Watts tells him to get down! This proves as a distraction as Borne has snuck into the ring through all the chaos. Duggan is trying to get his feet as Borne has the cane of Sheik! Dibiase grabs Duggan as Watts is still arguing! Borne comes charging full speed! HE HITS DIBIASE! Duggan was able to move out of the way! Benoit grabs the ankles of Borne and drags him and whips him! The fans are going crazy as Duggan bad knee and all is at the corner of the ring! Dibiase is on dream street! Duggan comes charging and 3 Point Stance LARIAT! OUT GOES DIBIASE! 1......2......3!!! Jim Duggan has just become The North American Champion! The men come charging into the ring! Benoit, Graham, Hercules, and others are celebrating with Duggan as Dibiase has rolled out of the ring and he has no clue he just lost the North American Championship! What is going to happen when he finds out! Dibiase is being carried to the back by Sheik and Borne!} {We get our last promo and it's by Luger! The UWF Heavyweight Champion is going to make a statement that he can do it all his own.} UWF Heavyweight Champion Lex Luger(c) vs The Barbarian with Woman {This match is a hard hitting contest! The Barbarian is on strict orders to take out The UWF Champion. Lex though is making a statement tonight! This match doesn't last too long. The Barbarian tries fighting off Luger but he is on a mission tonight. Woman does play a factor and turns the tide in this match but Luger though is able to counter and drops Barbarian with a massive powerslam! Luger picks up The Barbarian and RUNNING FOREARM! Luger though looks around and TORTURE RACK! The fans EXPLODE when Luger is showing off his power! The Barbarian doesn't tap and instead basically passes out! Luger is playing up the crowd as he holds up the UWF Championship! Woman is upset and helps Barbarian to the back all the time Luger is playing up the crowd that is going insane for him! Luger is standing on the top rope when Downtown Bruno shows up! Luger is confused by this but that is when Dick Murdoch is there and attacks Luger from behind! Murdoch is beating the hell out of Luger! This is when Bruno signals to the back and it's VADER! That's who Woman sold the contract to! Vader and Murdoch are beating the hell out of the UWF Champion! Dick Murdoch drops Luger to a Brainbuster! That is when Vader picks up Luger and Powerbomb! These two men are standing there with Bruno grabbing the UWF Championship! The fans are throwing trash as we have a beaten down Luger who might just have met his alliance he can't overthrow!} *END*

He goes on to mention that The Barbarian and Vader are nothing but toys for Woman and once she is done with them she will cast them aside. Lex Luger then goes on to say that he is going to lift The Barbarian up into his Torture Rack! Jim Duggan cuts a fire promo about how is going to take that UWF North American Championship away from Ted Dibiase. Duggan says that he is sick and tired of Dibiase using his money to bribe officials... As Duggan continues to speak he is suddenly attacked by Fidel Sierra and Ricky Santana! Duggan is trying to fight back and that is when Sierra clips the back of Duggan's knee! Duggan is screaming out in pain as Santana and Sierra have sent a message but that is when out from the curtain comes Chris Benoit, Hercules and Mike Graham and they come to Duggan's aid and they run off Sierra and Santana but the damage might just be done as Duggan is holding his knee! Downtown Bruno SWEARS that The Great Muta is going to pay and he has paid a man big money to come out here and make him pay. Bruno is upset and says The Great Muta is going to be grounded! Matt Borne is bragging about being the TV Champion. He says that Hercules is going to pay a price. He says that Hercules might have power but he lacks brains and that will be his downfall! Mike Shaw is joined by Rip Rogers and together the two men say they have formed an alliance and together they are going to take over the UWF and it starts with Brady Boone! The last segment is Ted Dibiase who is bragging about the hit he put out on Duggan. He is bragging about all the money that he has brought into The UWF and everything. This is when Bill Watts comes out. He has had about enough of Ted Dibiase's antics in the UWF! I became the richest man in all of professional wrestling. Now, having this much money you would think that I would be given some special treatment but instead I am treated like the rest of these penny pushers. I am treated no different than someone like Mike Graham who doesn't have a penny to his name. Bill Watts I demand that you come out here right now and make some things right in this company. I DEMAND that you come out here and set things straight. {Bill Watts comes out and joins Ross and Dibiase at the podium.} Watts: You know something Dibiase I have watched you the past two weeks bribe my officials, I have watched you try and bribe that promising young kid Chris Benoit and I have watched you throw your money around like it has no end. He is wearing a pair of jeans and a ripped up black shirt and making sure to get the heat from this southern territory by having his New York Yankees shirt! Lombardi is making sure to show it off every chance he gets but he runs into the massive Hercules who isn't looking to play ANY GAMES tonight! He drops Lombardi with a massive right hand and follows that up with a big Body Slam! Lombardi is holding his back as Hercules picks him up and drops him with a massive atomic drop! I know you paid Eric Embry to attack Chris last week and cost him the TV Championship but I can go ahead and let you know DIbiase that we are here and we are ready to fight later tonight. Chris Benoit: Eric, you have been tormenting me every since I beat you. So I guess I have to show you that I am for real and I am not just some young nobody like you think. {Duggan has this crowd rocking with a massive "USA" chant! Yeah, Benoit is Canadian but hey these fans are all about the USA and Duggan has them rocking for later tonight!} The Great Muta vs Fidel Sierra with Ricky Santana {The Great Muta who has been making a lasting impression on The UWF is looking to continue this hot start he has made. He has a competitive and good match with Fidel who goes toe to toe with Muta. We see this innovative offense just become to much for Sierra who gets dropped with a very impressive jumping spinning back kick that drops him. Santana who was watching is upset and leaps on the ring apron! The Great Muta looks and the fans explode when Muta spits the mist right at Santana! Fidel is watching in bewilderment as Santana is rolling on the arena floor holding his face! Muta is just watching as Fidel comes charging at him but Muta rolls under the charging Fidel who nails the corner and hits the mat! Muta without missing a beat climbs the top rope and MOONSAULT! 1,2,3! The Great Muta has won this match and the fans LOVE him! The mysterious Muta is leaving the ring when up to the podium comes Downtown Bruno!} Bruno: Wasn't that impressive Ross! Did you see how quick this Great Muta is? Did you see that mist he spit from his mouth? I have never seen anything like it! I love watching this man compete. I love watching it so much that I actually want to him an offer. Bring him over here Ross! {Ross signals for The Great Muta to come over to the podium. We see Muta just keep looking around and keeping this mysterious gimmick going. Bruno is trying to walk over to Muta but instead Muta walks away and leaves Bruno hanging.} Ross: Well it looks like The Great Muta doesn't want anything to do with Downtown Bruno. Bruno: Well you know I didn't want anything to do with that freak anyways. I guess I am going to have to teach this Muta guy that you NEVER leave a guy like me hanging around looking like a fool. He thinks he is great well we will see about that. Main Event Tag Team Match Jim Duggan and Chris Benoit vs Ted Dibiase and Eric Embry {A big time main event here! The biggest story though is when Dibiase refuses to tag in by giving Embry a wad of cash to work this match with Dibiase just sitting on the ring apron. This match goes about 10 minutes of Embry getting worked over. That is when something happens that draws the ire of everyone we see Dibiase walk over to the official for this match. Ross makes mention that Danny Davis is officiating this match tonight. Dibiase suddenly tells something to Davis and we get an interesting scene when Duggan looks on a sleeper hold on Embry who is fading away but that is when Davis checks the arm and says it's an illegal choke! Duggan is upset and is forced to let go of the hold this leads to Embry crawling over and making a tag! Dibiase comes into the ring and as Duggan and Davis are going at it with their words. Dibiase with a leaping knee to the kidneys sends Duggan crashing to the buckles but as he does Benoit gets a tag and leaps into the ring. Duggan is holding his kidneys as Dibiase dares Benoit to try and shoot on him! Benoit is trying his best to work over Dibiase but it's instantly stopped everytime and that is when we see the true skill of Dibiase on display. He outwrestles the young Benoit and shows him up! Dibiase is showing that he might not only be the richest man in all of wrestling but he might just be one of the very best as well. Dibiase is working over the young Benoit and with this shady official just so happening allowing Dibiase longer on chokes and rope breaks by making super slow counts! It's obvious the work is in but this match keeps going! Duggan is back up on the apron and wants that tag! Benoit though is in a very bad way as Dibiase drops him with a big suplex in the middle of the ring. Dibiase walks over and drops a fist across the face of Benoit! Dibiase is playing this up as a makes a cover with his foot on the chest of Benoit 1,2, kickout! Dibiase is upset with Davis and tells him to count faster! Dibiase turns around and lifts up Benoit who nails a vicious chop across the chest of Diabise and actually stuns him. Benoit with another and another! the fans are hyping this young man up! Benoit whips Dibiase across the ring but Dibiase counters and sends Benoit against the ropes and that is when Embry drives his knee across the kidney of Benoit! Dibiase grabs Benoit for a Piledriver but a back body drop sends Dibiase crashing OVER THE TOP ROPE TO THE ARENA FLOOR! Benoit is crawling to Duggan as Dibiase is trying to get back into the ring! The fans are rocking! Embry actually leaves the ring and slides Dibiase to his corner! Embry gets the tag but so does HACKSAW! The fans are rocking when Dibiase shows his hot tag with massive right hand after right hand. Duggan then drops Embry with a MASSIVE POWERSLAM! The fans are on fire as Duggan is pressed against the corner in position! Dibiase who has a chance to stop this attack looks at Embry and leaves him to Duggan and Benoit! Dibiase is walking out! Embry has no idea when he stands up 3 STANCE TO THE LARIAT! Duggan who can make the cover though looks at Benoit and makes the tag! Benoit climbs the top rope and SPLASH on EMBRY! 1,2,3! Duggan and Benoit with the win but the bigger story is Dibiase walking out on Embry!} Jim Ross: What an exciting night of UWF Action we have seen tonight! A really fun show. I am enjoying what Ladd is putting together here. You got Buzz going after Gilbert, The Freebirds/Sheepherders, Nikita and Junkyard Dog. Just an all around awesome show and building up to the big show beautifully. I am a HUGE Tully fan. So I’m sure the power of Bill has no idea what’s he getting into with Tully. Just an all around great show and can’t wait to see what happens next.

A fun set of shows. I like seeing Buddy Landell come out and call out Flair at the end. I’ve always enjoyed Buddy and I like the idea of seeing him take it to Flair. I do have to say it’s really wild seeing Tom McGee be a champion since in lore he was awful but I have enjoyed the way you built him and are building him up. It’s fun seeing the NWA bring it. Keep up the great work.

Windy City just hitting all cylinders. I am really enjoying what you are doing and building up to. Windy City is an easy read and enjoyable to keep up with. I like the bullet point style you are using. The show was awesome like always. I loved seeing Butch Reed become Gateway Champ and then joining up with Harley Race lead faction. Awesome ending! I can’t wait to see Bam Bam get his revenge though.

Bad News is such a perfect heel for this era. The perfect world champion. He has has no friends and doesn’t want any. So he can feud with basically everybody. A very enjoyable show. I also love Scorpio nailing the 450. He was so innovative and that move alone would get the crowd going.

A really fun show and easy to keep up with. I really enjoy the team of Severn and Jarrett what a crazy mesh of styles but two that I enjoy seeing. I am enjoying PCW and the product you are putting out there.

UWF Power Hour 07/11/1987 TV Studios {The scene opens with a video package showing off the new superstars of UWF and it highlights the following people Ted Dibiase, Lex Luger, Vader, and The Barbarian, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, The Great Muta, and Dick Murdoch. As soon as this video package is over. We head straight to the desk where Jim Ross and he goes over the action we will see tonight!} Ted Dibiase defeats Gregory House {Ted Dibiase gets the quick win in the opener. We actually see an interesting scene where Dibiase offers House money to just lay down. Dibiase gets a smile on his face when House ACCEPTS the offer! House lays down as Dibiase doesn't even take off his suit as he places his foot over House while making the cover 1,2,3!} {After the match Dibiase cuts a promo with Jim Ross and lays out a decision for Chris Benoit later tonight. Dibiase offers the young man 10,000 dollars to lay down and take the loss tonight against Matt Borne but if he decides against the money and tries to fight Borne. Dibiase warns that EVERYBODY HAS A PRICE!} *Commercial Break* Lex Luger defeats Scott McGhee via Torture Rack {The UWF Heavyweight Champion beats the absolute breaks off Scott. This isn't even remotely competitive. Luger drops Scott early with a massive running forearm! Luger is making sure to show off the muscles and his power. He grabs Scott and makes the man pass out to the Torture Rack!} {Luger leaves the ring and grabs the title where we see Woman is there covered in the gold of the UWF Heavyweight Championship and Tag Team Titles but that is when out to the desk comes Bill Watts!} Bill Watts: I wanted to wait to make this announcement but I believe that we need to get it out of the way. Woman, I respect this stable of superstars and men that you have put together but as you can see here in The UWF we don't have a lot of established Tag Teams. So as of this very night until I see fit. The UWF Tag Team Championships will be officially vacated. I have no choice but since Ernie Ladd decided to play dirty. I have decided that this is the only option but when I decide that these titles can be defended again. Your men Big Van Vader and The Barbarian will be the very first challengers. {Woman is obviously upset and REFUSES to give up the titles. Bill Watts is demanding the titles but that is when Vader and The Barbarian step up to Watts who isn't very happy about this situation that is when Luger intervenes and plays the cooler of the three and hands the titles over to Watts! Woman is appalled that Luger would blatantly disobey her orders. Luger is defending himself as the four people head through the curtain as Watts holds the UWF Tag Team Titles.} *Commercial Break* The Great Muta defeats Steve Lombardi Via Moonsault! {The Great Muta gets a nice reaction from this crowd. Muta is covered in that red face paint and looks ready to fight here. Lombardi though is no slouch and came to brawl. He tries to fight Muta but this man is just too quick and his kicks are dangerous. Lombardi is trying to keep up but Muta is just too quick and dangerous and levels Lombardi with a massive spinning kick that gets the crowd going! Muta looks up to the sky as the crowd is trying to figure him out. Muta plants Lombardi with a big body slam heads to the top rope and the crowd GASPS! MOONSAULT landed perfectly! 1,2,3! The Great Muta picks up the big victory!} {Ross is trying to get a word with The Great Muta which is interesting to say the least but Muta though just walks around studying Ross who looks uncomfortable to say the least. Muta finally spits the mist high in the air as Ross quickly moves out of the way. Muta leaves with the crowd cheering his name as Ross mentions that Muta is something else but make no mistake about it that he is force in the UWF!} *Commercial Break* Jim Duggan defeats Mike Shaw VIA Three Stance Clothesline! {This is a competitive match these two men are fighting back and forth and have a heavyweight brawl. Shaw is slouch as the lumberjack is fighting and keeping up with Duggan. The fans though are the difference maker as they bring Duggan back into this match! Shaw hits the ropes when Duggan shocks the world and drops him with a body slam! The massive Shaw hits the mat and the fans EXPLODE! Duggan plants himself in the corner of the the right and Shaw is dropped by a charging Duggan and that massive Clothesline! 1,2,3! Duggan picks up the victory as he grabs his 2x4 and plays to the crowd with a massive "USA" Chant!} {Jim Ross is standing by with Chris Benoit!} Ross: Chris, earlier tonight Ted Dibiase offered you a choice? We have to know have you made up your mind? Chris Benoit: Jim, what Ted DIbiase offered me is a life changing amount of money. When I worked with Eddie and Missy. I could only dream of that type of money. It's why I have decided to take.... {Jim Duggan heads into the scene. He is breathing sorta heavy.} Jim Duggan: Chris, I know that you want to take that money but I promise you Chris that money comes with strings attached. I promise you this and I don't know if it means much but I promise you that if you don't take this money you will not only show these people that some things can't be bought but you will also prove to yourself that you are a tough guy and can't be bought. Chris: Jim, you know you are right! Dibiase I REFUSE THE OFFER! Matt Borne I hope you are ready to fight cause I am coming to take the UWF Television Championship! {The fans are rocking the studio as Dibiase and Benoit shake hands!} *Commercial Break* Main Event UWF Television Championship Chris Benoit vs Matt Borne {The Main Event is upon us! Benoit has denied the money from Dibiase who promised repercussions if he did. Borne has come to wrestle though and these two put on a great match. The Young Benoit you can tell has something. He is doing his best Dynamite Kid impression during the match as he shows off a snap suplex and even a diving headbutt that gets the crowd up on their feet. Borne though fights through all of it as he is the toughest challenge this young Benoit has faced in his career so far and he proves it. Borne takes control of the most the match but Benoit is right there hanging with him. Borne is trying all he can to put Benoit away but the heart of Benoit is just too much and he is fighting with all he has. That is when Dibiase shows up with Sheik right behind him. Dibiase walks over to the referee who isn't paying any attention to him. Dibiase is getting mad now and slaps the mat this causes JIM DUGGAN to appear and he goes right after Dibiase who is circling around the ring away from him. This causes the referee to get distracted as he is trying to restore order. Benoit climbs the top rope looking for a move up there as Borne is trying to get to his feet. That is when ERIC EMBRY shows up and shoves Benoit off the top rope! Borne is there to quickly pick up Benoit and POWERSLAM! Duggan sees Embry and chases him away as Dibiase has already grabbed the TV Championship! 1,2,3! Dibiase and Sheik make sure to kick Benoit out of the ring as they hand Borne the UWF TV Championship! The fans are letting them hear it as Dibiase, Borne and Sheik are celebrating but this celebrating is cut short when out of the curtain comes HERCULES and he has that massive chain swinging around the ring! Dibiase, Borne and Sheik have bailed and headed out of the arena as Hercules is back and he wants to FIGHT!}

I really like the format that you use here. I like the color scheme as well. Makes it easy on the eyes. Really fun show though. I am still catching up on shows from the start for everybody but from what I’ve seen so far looks like you done a great job in booking these women. I have never been huge on womens wrestling but I enjoyed what I read today and think you did a fabulous job in making the reading easy and enjoyable. I am excited to see what’s next.

Bill Watts doesn't seem too happy and he looks upset that he is even out here right now.} Bill Watts: Thank you Jim for the introduction. Now, as I am sure a lot of the good wrestling fans know. My now-former business partner has taken it upon himself to split up the UWF and take with him a bunch of our workers. Now, most people would run away from a challenge but I am not some ordinary carney owner that runs away from the threat of competition. I thrive on competition and I welcome Ernie Ladd and his men to step up and try to take me and this company down. Cause, I can promise you this, and I know you are watching Ladd. I can promise you this brother. Nobody on this planet will EVER take me out of this business and that is a promise. Now, I want to make something else VERY clear! Eddie Gilbert, I always knew that you had no guts and you proved it. I gave you a chance to come here and defend that Television Championship but instead you did what you do best and ran away. Sure you might have thrown a belt in the trash but I have been on the phone and I have made a BRAND NEW UWF Television Championship and I can promise you that this championship will be held by someone that will NEVER duck a challenge and someone that will fight for this company. So that is why I have decided tonight's show will be the crowning of the NEW UWF Television Champion in a special 2-week, 8-man Tournament! It's a battle though. Biff shows a good fight but the big lumberjack is a bit too much for Biff. Nord takes this match over when he drops a charging Biff with a stiff Big Boot! Nord is playing this up as Biff is stirring and that is when Nord hits the ropes and he catches a groggy Biff with a STIFF HIGH KNEE! Nord drops him and makes the cover! 1....2....3!!! Nord holds his hands up as he is moving on and will face the winner of Chris Benoit/Eric Embry later tonight!} {Ross is pushing Nord up to the desk and walks up to Ted Dibiase with Shiek Adnan and his rat pack partner Matt Borne.} Ross: Dibiase, you held on to that North American Championship by hook or by crook. I have to ask though Dibiase what is the meaning of you being out here. Dibiase: Ross, when are you going to learn that when you have the amount of money that I have that you can do whatever you want in this business. The deal I made Shiek made a very very rich man. Unlike all these nickel and dimers in this studio tonight. Now, Dick Murdoch. I hope that you learned a valuable lesson. It doesn't matter what you do in this business because at the end of the day. You will always be doing trailer trash. Now, that I put Murdoch back in the trailer park. I can put my.... {Suddenly up to the desk comes Jim Duggan!} Ted Dibiase: Now what is the meaning of this? I hope you don't think that the old gang is getting back together because last time I checked you made a decision of which side you want to be on and you chose wrong. Duggan: Dibiase, there was a time that we were friends and I would stick up for you but those times are LONG gone. Brother, I am here tonight to make my claim for that North American Championship. {Dibiase is getting upset and that is when Matt Borne steps up to the microphone.} Borne: Duggan, I don't know why you think you deserve a shot at this championship. You don't even deserve to be in the same camera shot as us. Duggan: Listen here tough guy, this was a conversation between Dibiase, and myself but if I were you I would worry less about Dibiase and worry more about the man you are going to face in this tournament tonight in Mike Graham. Borne: You actually think that I am worried about Mike Graham? {That is when into the scene walks Mike Graham who is ready for a fight. He gets right in the face of Borne and gives him a shove and demands to start the match right now. Shiek and Dibiase are livid at what Duggan has caused! They are jaw-jacking back and forth as Borne is taking off his shirt and getting ready to start this match!} Matt Borne vs Mike Graham {We come back from break and Graham is in complete control of this match-up in the early going. Graham is taking the fight to the Rat-Pack member and keeping him at bay. This whole match changes after about 6 minutes when Sheik gets involved when he trips the leg of Graham which leads to Graham grabbing a hold of Shiek and bringing him up on the apron but this proves costly when Borne nails Graham with a knee right to the kidneys that drops him. Borne climbs the second rope and drops a fist across the face of Graham and hooks the leg! 1....2...3!! Borne is moving on!} {Borne will move on in his 1-night tournament he has a big smile on his face as Shiek and Diabise are there to raise his hand in the air! Borne walks over to the TV Championship that's sitting on a podium in front of the desk and makes the signal that is soon to be the champion! As they walk off we head to commercial!} {Jim Ross is standing by with another stable and this one is completely dominant they have all the gold! Big Van Vader and The Barbarian have those Tag Team Titles and we see Lex Luger with the richest prize in the UWF! The UWF Heavyweight Championship! They are making sure everybody can see those titles when Woman takes the microphone and says that she was promised to be surrounded by gold and championships and she got her to wish. She says that she will be paying very close attention to the TV Championship Tournament and she might make whoever wins an offer they can't refuse!} Hercules Hernandez vs Johnny Rich {The men are already in the ring as The Mighty Hercules is carrying that steel chain around his body. He is making sure to show off his muscles and the fans are cheering him as Hercules makes sure to go outside the ring and high-five some kids and show off their muscles as well with him. Hercules goes right into the ring and gets to work. Rich tries to fight back but it's a no go as Hercules makes quick work of Rich with his sheer power! Massive right hands, Massive Clotheslines, and Body Slams! Straight out of the powerhouse handbook! Hercules looks like a force here as he grabs Rich and FULL NELSON! Hercules is squeezing the hold-in on TIGHT! Rich PASSED OUT! Hercules drops him and plays up the crowd! Hercules will meet Matt Borne in the Semi-Finals!} {Chris Benoit is standing by Jim Ross.} Jim Ross: Chris, I know that you have a lot on your mind as you have been presented with the biggest moment in your career thus far. You have a chance to compete in the TV Championship. Chris Benoit: Jim, I would be lying if I didn't say that I was nervous but I am. Tonight, as you said is the biggest night of my career. I know I haven't been in the business long but I have learned a lot and I am ready to compete and show everyone what I have learned. Jim Ross: Speaking of learning a lot. It looks like your trainer/teacher in Eddie Gilbert has left you high and dry. What are your thoughts about that? Chris Benoit: Jim, I gave my all to learn from Eddie and do everything that he said. I was promised opportunities and I was promised a lot but nothing ever materialized and now I understand why. Eddie Gilbert and Missy had to bleed me dry. They would leave to eat the bread crumbs from their plates all the while they were cashing my hard-earned checks. I am done... {Eric Embry walks up to the scene obviously annoyed that Beniot is getting screen time over him.} Eric: Jim, why are you wasting your time with this NOBODY! What have you ever done in this business boy? You are a loser, why in the world Bill Watts wanted to bring you over here is beyond me. Let me fill you in on a little secret and you can have this one free of charge. Benoit, you are NEVER going to make it in this business. You are going to be a LOSER for the rest of your career and tonight I am feeling a little generous. So what I am prepared to do. I am going to give you the chance to just walk away. Get out of my sight and better yet get out of this business. Let the grown men handle their business. So I am going to take that ring and I want you "Canadian Kid" to just leave the building. Do the right thing and let me get this win to move on in the tournament and win this TV Championship that needs to be around my waist. {Embry walks into the ring and starts playing up the crowd while Benoit is on the outside of the ring and he is contemplating everything Embry said. That is when Benoit says "SCREW IT" He goes right into the ring and walks up to Embry who is laughing and SMACKS HIM ACROSS THE FACE!} Eric Embry vs Chris Benoit {Benoit is relentless on his early attack as Embry is taken back by this and shocked Benoit came to fight. Embry though meets Benoit with a thumb to the eye behind the referee's back and turns this match his way. He nails a running knee lift that sends Benoit crashing to the mat! Embry is going to finish off Benoit with a piledriver it looks like but Benoit somehow musters the strength to send Embry over the top rope with a back body drop! Benoit is holding his eye from the thumb as Embry is selling on the outside of the ring. Benoit leaves the ring to bring Embry back into but the wise vet quickly grabs Benoit by the back of the tights and then sends Benoit crashing ribs first into the ring apron. Embry picks up Benoit and places him on his shoulders. Embry is about to send Benoit into the steel post face first! Ross is screaming at this point but at the VERY last second. Benoit is able to wiggle off the shoulders and INTO THE POST GOES EMBRY! The referee is at 8, as Embry is out like a light! Benoit rolls into the ring! 10! Embry has been counted out! He is still out on the tv studio floor as Benoit gets his hand raised! Benoit will face John Nord in the Main Event for the shot at becoming TV Champion next week!} Semi-Finals Matt Borne vs Hercules Hernandez {Matt Borne and Hercules are in the ring as this match is looking to be a good one. That is when up to the scene walks Ted Dibiase with Shiek by his side. Dibiase has a briefcase in his hand with what only one can assume has cash in it. Dibiase walks up to Ross and shows only him what's inside the case. Ross is in shock! Dibiase and Shiek walk into the ring and stop the referee from ringing the bell when Dibiase slips the referee a 100-dollar bill! Dibiase has a microphone in hand.} Dibiase: Look, Hercules, we all know the power you possess and we all know that you are not only a strong man but more importantly you are a smart man as well. So what I am going to is pretty simple. You have two options here tonight. We have Option A, you take this money go out on the town and save yourself a beating, or Option B, You don't take this money, and Matt Borne here kicks your teeth in. So what do you say, Hercules! Are you going to be a penny pincher like the rest of these losers or are you going to take the money and live a better life than you could ever imagine! {Hercules is looking out to the fans in this TV Studio. He is walking back and forth trying to make a decision. Hercules listens to the crowd as they are telling him NO! Dibiase is telling him not to listen to these ham n' eggers. Hercules finally takes looks at Dibiase with Borne right beside him with Shiek there as well. Hercules looks and KICKS THE CASE OUT DIBIASE'S HANDS! MONEY GOES FLYING! Hercules is jumping Dibiase but Borne grabs the case that went flying and NAILS HERCULES IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD! Hercules is laid out as The Rat-Pack is putting the boots on him. Shiek is calling the shots as Borne and Dibiase pick up Hercules and a Double Suplex in the middle of the ring! Dibiase grabs some of the cash and shoves it in his mouth of Hercules! The referee is about to rule this a no-contest but that is when Dibiase grabs some of the cash and places it in the hands of the referee. Who looks and signals for Jim Ross to make the official announcement!} Jim Ross: Due to Hercules being rendered unable to compete your winner of the match and moving on to the TV Championship Finals next week Matt Borne! {The fans are letting these three men hear it as Dibiase is screaming at the camera that "Hercules made a bad investment" Dibiase, Borne, and Shiek make one last signal for the TV Championship as we head to our last commercial before the Main Event between Chris Benoit/John Nord to find out who is going to challenge for the Matt Borne for the vacant TV Championship next week!} Semi-Finals John Nord vs Chris Benoit {Our Main Event! Both men are in the ring and we see Benoit is still selling the damage to his eye as Nord is ready to fight and makes sure to make fun of the height difference they have. Nord though is for sure getting the better but this Chris Benoit is like a pitbull and keeps nailing these stiff-like chops that impress the larger Nord. The tide really turns in the match when Benoit hits the ropes but Nord with a HIGH KNEE catches Benoit in that eye that Embry tried taking out earlier in his match. Benoit is in some serious pain here as Nord is attacking the eye which is already showing signs of swelling. Benoit is in the corner as Nord is now on the attack with some serious boots to the stomach. Nord has Benoit in the corner holding his eye. Nord comes charging full speed but Benoit ducks a splash attempt. Benoit hits the ropes and leaps in the air with a crossbody but Nord catches Benoit and places him on his shoulder for a snake eye but Benoit rolls off the shoulders much like he did Embry earlier in the night and shoves Nord into the buckle. Benoit with a dropkick that makes Nord take a bump into the buckle again. This time Benoit SHOCKS THE AUDIENCE FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX! Benoit bridges his neck and holds the shoulders down! 1....2....3!!! MY GOODNESS BENOIT HAS BEATEN JOHN NORD! The UWF fans are going crazy as Chris Benoit with a HUGE UPSET! Benoit somehow is doing this miracle run! This is obviously Bill Watts showing Ladd and Eddie Gilbert that Benoit is the real deal and they made a mistake leaving him behind! Jim Ross: Fans, I don't know if you believe in miracles but somehow and someway Chris Benoit has done the unthinkable and moved on to the finals next week against Matt Borne but the biggest question you have to wonder is how is that eye of Benoit? Not only that next week we will see UWF Heavyweight Champion Lex Luger and Tag Team Champions Vader and The Barbarian in 6-Man Tag Team Action. We will also see The Great Muta in action, Jim Duggan will be here as well and I have heard that Cowboy Bill Watts has a MAJOR Announcement! I went through 9/11 when I was in the sixth grade. I will never forget that day but I NEVER had a panic attack from that. It's kinda strange but unless he had someone die in the tragedy or was from that area. I don't see why that would phase him. I am from Tennessee. So when it happens here. I will never forget I had a teacher I guess try to scare us but he told us that if they blew up the chemical plant that was like 20 minutes away from the school it would take out a big part of Tennessee and it's what he would do. I always tried to figure out the lesson by telling a bunch of 12-year-olds that. Oh well. Anyways. I don't like ANY of Conrad's co-hosts. Paul is so monotone that he just drags conversations, especially with JR. I don't like listening to Matt with Regal. Alba has a weird voice and just bores me. At Least Matt is a storyteller and sorta makes it work. I have only listened to maybe three episodes of Matt's podcast. I haven't bothered with Bruce's pod in years. I usually attempt each one of these and so far the ones I always go back to are JBL/Brisco, and Foley is Pod and that's just cause I love hearing Mick tell stories and sidetrack especially about his love of the TV show Friends and other topics. Besides that, I never attempt the others. JR's was fine at the start but I found out, especially on Spotify I HAVE to listen to these at 1.5 speed or I can't stand listening to it.

What a horrible segment though. I could care less about the line. I mean probably a big hit for the younger generation who thinks that’s a slam dunk but I just didn’t buy the line. I thought it was a big swing and a miss. I mean what a great way to build the prestige of the championship by ejaculating on it. I mean if we needed anymore reason to think Sammy was the worst TNT champion. The whole segment just seemed randomly tossed together. It didn’t accomplish anything and nobody got over from it. It’s getting clicks from Twitter but most are complaining about the legacy thing. Which I mean I get especially when AEW tries to portray themselves as the titles mean something here and yet you got a 2 time champ saying he ejaculated all over it. I mean yeah….totally puts the title over. The whole Sammy/Tay thing is a horrible combo on camera. Off camera I don’t give a shit what they do cause they are consenting adults but on camera. It’s just bad television. Sammy should just be a heel. He is a terrible baby face. I could never get myself to cheer for him just cause he comes across as a natural heel. Tay is whatever and just like there. I was hoping once Cody left that this whole couples on camera thing would be over but here we go again. Ugh! I already can’t wait for this story to be over.

Wait people didn’t like this episode. This is mind boggling to me. They started new storylines and the whole show flew by. I mean I get it not being everyone’s cup of tea but I had no issues with this week. Thought it was a really solid episode. I greatly enjoyed it.

I am glad we got rid of The Codyverse in AEW though. It got pretty cringe there at the end.

I have been a HUGE fan of Danhausen. So I am VERY happy to see him get into AEW. This is a great signing. He can do basically everything and get over. Interviewer...check....comedy...check...even in the ring he isn't bad. So this signing will for sure piss people off but I for one LOVE it. Plus, even Cornette didn't rip Danhausen and found him entertaining. Said he would never watch any of his matches but as a character, he even was won over. So this is a great signing in my eyes and I am VERY glad he gets a chance with AEW.
