  1. I don't think Sammy is likeable at all. Adam Cole and Britt Baker as heels are more likeable than Sammy as a face.
  2. Perhaps it's time for Sting and Darby to actually get a title shot
  3. The COACHES have to look young? Lmao.
  4. I don't understand why they'd change his name at all. He's known worldwide as WALTER. He's been with WWE for 3 years now, built as the unstoppable force known as WALTER. What is the point of waiting this long to change his name, and to something so stupid?
  5. How about who the fuck thinks "Gunther Stark" is a good name for a pro wrestler in 2022
  6. More likely for WALTER is a segment where Riddle calls him "Walt" and starts talking about Disney and then his name is officially changed to WALT and he grows a Disney mustache and then is back in Europe within 14 months.
  7. Disagree. All the Okada/Shingo matches have been better than the Okada/Naito 2020 WK match and I'd say also the 2018 match.
  8. They did do that for a while when sports were all shut down in 2020. Both old PPVs and the Best Of compilations aired on Fox Sports 1/2 and I think even mainline Fox a couple of times.
  9. An apron bump should end a match from time to time. AEW is still very much in the WWE mold of only finishers or surprise roll ups win matches. To have matches end in the middle of the OHHHHH high spot segments might really open the house style up and allow for more drama when the audience knows one of these 20 high spots in a row might actually end a match at any time.
  10. Prediction: If Corey Graves returns as an in ring talent, he'll be cut within 14 months.
  11. Wrong. Dude's execution is far from excellent.
  12. Hard disagree because Hey Phil ain't no fuckin' Bret Hart
  13. Sammy's leg slap on his GTS whatever is so atrocious and blatant and the cameras basically zoom in on it every time he hits that move which doesn't eve n look good to begin with, but also is not a move that would need or benefit from the leg slap sound. No one else does a leg slap for GTS variants. It just looked awful and always looks awful and he should really at least drop the leg slap part of it, but I think he should drop the move altogether.
  14. Corey Graves was about as good of a pro wrestler as Jesse Ventura, I guess. Which is to say he wasn't good but had charisma and was better as a color man (at least for a time) than wrestler.
  15. So did Vice then stop airing MLW
  16. How does WWE get Vice to stop airing MLW
  17. Since I don't know any of the names I really haven't been paying attention to much beyond the creativity in moves and how modern it all feels.
  18. I'm convinced 80% of moves used today were invented in French catch in the 50s/60s. I've seen Asai DDTs, Roll of the Dice/CrossRhodes, ganso bombs, missile dropkicks, Hiromu's DVD stampede, multiple powerbomb variations, multiple ranas and frankensteiners, saw a bulldog driver and snapmare driver, superkicks
  19. Bryan doing a Regal in 1993-1994 TV Title run would be wonderful
  20. Meltzer believes anything and everything told to him at face value when it comes to puro companies
  21. Shibataism will save New Japan
  22. What was Gabe actually doing with NXT? His name seemed to never come up with all the other booking and agent crew of HHH's group.
  23. It was nice to see Shibata back, and both Okada matches were real strong, but man the rest of these shows straight up sucked. Two nights for Wk never made sense due to NJ's small roster that was overstuffed with rematches and multiman tags, and that was before COVID took away most of the gaijin talent that they heavily relied on.
  24. Oh man what the fuck Fenix really just Sid'd his arm christ
  25. Brian Pillman's best run is definitely the Hollywood Blondes run and that's like 14 months or something. The Loose Cannon run is the most overrated angle and gimmick in history. It was literally Pillman just making cartoonishly over the top wacky faces for a couple of months and Bischoff saying he was gonna be in trouble and then he's gone and Benoit assumes his position in the feud with Sullivan. It's the ultimate work the smarks angle and somehow is still held up as some incredible thing. It wasn't. It sucked.
