Amazing that they built her entire character (and Toxic Attraction) as sex-symbols and using their body to try and get ratings, but now her using the same body and the same sex-appeal for her own direct benefit is "not a good look", from slut-shaming idiotic WWE drones. I absolutely did not read it the way you intended to, and it has everything to do with the latest on Vince. Maybe Saraya can get a special tag-partner. I know, we've been there before and it has not always paid off, but honestly considering the context, I don't care and I jump on the opportunity to send a FU to WWE.

I mean, I would not have been shocked by petty booking (which in fact was what is was all about yesterday) and maybe her getting suspended for a month and de-pushed, but straight fired is amazing to me.

Wait, what ? Doing propaganda for a regime that kills LGBT+ and murder journalist is A-OK but a "independent contractor" showing her body on a pay site is nope for advertisers ? Sorry, but that's a complete bullshit argument. It's just abuse of the bullshit "independent contractor" status again.

"The culture has changed" Suuuuuuure. Insanity. It's ridiculous. I hope she go medieval on their ass, really.

One interesting thing is that Shibata is working the Inoki Bom Ba Ye show, against Tom Lawlor, which should be pretty fun. But he doesn't seel to have anything to do at the Dome. Seems like NJPW isn't too keen on booking him after he went into business for himself. Maybe with good reasons too. The Orange match went very well, but I won't lie that I'm kinda dreading what could eventually happen.

Karl Anderson as a WWE representative on a show that will have Omega as a co-main event and Mercedes Don't Call Me Sasha Anymore making an appearance, probably to challenge a Stardom worker who used to be in WWE, in quite an unexpected thing to begin 2023. Too bad Ace Austin & Chris Bey did not win the junior tag tournament, it would have added an IMPACT presence on the show as well (plus really, they are awesome, and as much as I like Lio Rush, there's always a possibility he retires before the Tokyo Dome, and Yoh is just kinda there to me). Yeah, I was hoping for Aussie Open vs FTR at the Dome. Goto & Yoshi-Hashi vs FTR will probably still be really good, but not a show-stealer. Wonder of that means FTR have a chance to retain. Probably not. NJPW probably want their titles back on regulars now.

Maybe Vince saw the ratings from Monday's RAW and decided Triple H's booking ain't shit.

I chuckled. BTW, Greg Valentine comes off horrible in this. Dumb as a hammer I guess.

And then "It's all about the Game and how you play it" as the episode credits roll.

Vince is ready to come ba.... Oh, wait. BTW, I just realized the doc on Vince is shown on Vice tonight, right ?
-
It doesn't matter one bit. It's tone deaf as fuck. Also : he was nice to him about his contract.... after he fired his ass. Oh wait, it was that evil Nick Khan probably.

He was super over, but like you said he never received anything for it. I remember Christophe Agius, the French announcer, talking about it on his podcast, he had a conversation with Rusev and basically he told him that the push would never happen because they would never push Aiden English, because they just would NOT. Yeah, they were that dumb. Miro is certainly a big what if at this point.

That's a pretty fascinating aspect of the story. But maybe Mercedes (I guess we can call her Mercedes now) simply asked a lot less to NJPW because she just wants to do that. The other one is Dave saying that even with what she was asking, considering what WWE makes now, she would be underpaid, as everybody is in WWE.

"Uncle Fred was so nice to me. yeah, he sexually harassed younger women at work and that's actually why they outed him from his own company, but he was sooo good and supportive to me, I love him nonetheless" Fuck that shit. He can thank WWE all he wants to, he doesn't need to single out Vince, not in this context. And really "whatever he's going through" is just bad taste. Not to mention Regal is not some retired wrestler under a legacy deal. He's coming back as a Vice President of the company that got rid of Vince just a few months ago. Timing. Which is why charity sucks and is part of the domination scheme.

What a shitty ass article. "Matt Riddle personal life hasn't been so good". Wait, what ? Poor guy, for sure, he's a victim. "Riddles was acquitted of all charges". No he wasn't. The lawsuit was dropped. As far as the girl, well, if ever something bad happens, no one will believe her because of her status as a sex-worker (see the slut shaming in the coms already). Apparently she's also a death-match worker in XPW (yikes, now that sounds like a poor life decision).

You mean Briana Ray ?...... Considering she flamed out in AEW, then flamed out in IMPACT, then flamed out again on the indies, one can only hope she's gonna be fine but honestly, it is kinda scary. Yeah, I know, "the culture has changed", but that woman is obviously very fragile and I sure hope it doesn't lead to a relapse of whatever her issues are. I mean, in a perfect world, she main events Mania (or would have been the N°1 star of AEW's division).

Check the podcast thread, but he and Conrad defended him being the NWA champ and he said he was a great and smart guy and all.

Nope. Rusev Day never got the equivalent of the TNT title reign he had in AEW. He had a cuck angle. People forget Miro got injured and was out for a while. Then he was out filming a TV show. Then he was in a deal with the House of Black and then they requested their release (kinda sorta) and the whole thing was dropped. So yeah, I also would love me a lot more Miro (fuck, he should have been given the Wardlow push), but it's not like he was put on ice on purpose. Some bad timing there. Now, if he's ready to return and did not like his creative, that's another story. I would sure love him to get in that storyline of him needing his wife to be at his side leading to the debut of CJ, as he's just winning back his TNT title or something.

Random fact of TNA : Kurt Angle's last appearance, which happened in England and really was a very nice send-off in front of a big crowd, which TNA still had in the UK back then, also saw a King of the Mountain match involving Big Damo, Jimmy Havoc and Will Ospreay ! Talk about forgotten stuff ! Early 2016 was also MUCH better than 2015. Big Money Matt Hardy as the heel champ with Rebi (she's a born heel), ECIII babyface turn, Mike Benett & Maria Kanellis, Decay, a nostalgia run by Beer Money, Mia Yim (as Jade) getting a push in a much more kick-ass incarnation of the Dollhouse. Lots of stuff that gave the product a fresher feel.

I know. I cringed about that one too (not the only time with Foley, which comes off more disappointing, lately about Tyrus). Lance Storm had the best take of all : Vince did not make them all this money, *they and their work* made Vince a billionaire. So they should not feel the way they do, especially in this context.

Yeah, NJ Strong is probably the best wrestling TV show no one talks about (and I say that as someone who very seldom watch any of it, but whenever I do I always find it really good).
-
The end year show has Syuri vs Giulia, which should be awesome (they will beat the hell out of each other, let's be real) and KAIRI vs Hayashishita, which should be awesome too. The rest of the card looks pretty fun as well, but these two matches could end up being the last MOTYC, before 2023 kicks off with WK and the earliest MOTYC (at very least).

And so Regal is coming back to WWE with .... a Vice President title. Not sure what it entails it term of what his role will be, but this is not just "coming back to work as a coach in NXT, including with his son". Not to say it wasn't predictable, but still, it's a pretty big coup for Triple H to get a guy in that position who just spent 8 months with the talents of the opposition. Gotta say too, talking about Vince in a "whatever he's going through, he was been excellent to me" way is very tone deaf. Yeah, he's been sexually harassing/assaulting women and paid them with the company's money to shut them off, but hey, he kept on paying him while he was in AEW because of his talent contract overlapping a bit (as opposed to his employee contract), so he's a good guy. This whole "I treat people like they treat me" is quite problematic.

They are trying really hard to make me watch some WWE next year, uh ? (I haven't watched any since Royal Rumble apart from clips)

That was the first thing I thought about. And then him and Rush bashing their opponent's head in with chairs, I was having a LA Park feel out of the whole thing. And although I really enjoyed Rush's work thus far, this is kind of a red flag. First Dralistico match in AEW too, way to make a good impression.
