hammerva
Yeah I agree but so far I haven't seen one Roman Reigns single match where he looked impressive. They say they are strapping a rocket to him well hopefully that rocket comes with someone who can carry him in the ring because Batista and Randy orton have not been it so far. Jordan
Pretty certain on those supposed leaked scripts, Finlay was listed as the producer for the Divas matches. And I'll also co-sign Fox being awesome as well. Part of me hopes she starts throwing that axe kick again...
Johnny Sorrow
I don't see why people should be wringing their hands about Roman Reigns eventual singles career . It doesn't exist and yet folks are all concerned about it. Seriously, it doesn't exist. Why be all obsessed with something that hasn't happened to the point of letting it effect your watching of him in the Shield now? Speculation is inevitable, of course, but it's become ridiculous. Just enjoy watching the Shield become ultra white hot babyfaces who constantly get over on Evolution.
Strummer
Meltz also said that they haven't decided to strip Bryan of the title yet. That is why Stephanie didn't announce it tonight. They are waiting for the results on Thursday
JaymeFuture
Gotta feel bad for the guy. Has his dream come true at WrestleMania, gets married and goes on his honeymoon. Comes back and his Dad passes away and then has to have neck surgery. I guess for his career the silver lining is that absence will do him more good than this Kane angle in the long haul, just hope he doesn't come back too soon. I've seen a lot of people expressing this sentiment, but I think more time off will only be a bad thing for him. Circumstances do suck, but all the time off he's had to take recently has really hurt his momentum, and more time off will only hurt him even more. I think he can come back and still be one of their top guys, but his chance at being thee top guy has come and gone already.
Marty
Rotten news regarding Bryan. Not sure how I feel on the "at least he doesn't have to deal with this Kane angle" stance. As bad as it's been, I'm sure there are others on the roster that would kill to be in Bryan's role right now. That said, it hasn't helped him as a top guy and I'm not sure Brie's been effective in her role either, even if it makes sense. The problem is that she actually comes across as pretty likeable (my opinion) on Total Divas, but they haven't transitioned that to RAW, or allowed it to happen yet. With Bryan gone...is Punk's phone ringing off the hook now from the E regarding Payback? I know it didn't when RAW was in Chi-Town, but with the Mania build-up and the stars they already had involved for that show, they didn't need the guy. Different story now...no Bryan, Lesnar, Taker, etc.
El-P
Gotta love Hacksaw Duggan. He's such a neanderthal man. Confronted by Lana's arguments that China had now conquered the world economy, poor Hacksaw could only reply as he always did, by spelling his country's name, and thankfully it is only three letters. And poor Rusev, now he's lost his first name too. Hum.. Big E Langston. After Kofi and R-Truth… Do I see a pattern here ? Anyway, Lana is obviously the star of this outfit (pun intended). Adam Rose's act already looks like a novelty entrance. Reminds me of Al Snow's head gimmick, which "worked" in the small ECW environment but totally failed in the WWF. WTF was that Fandango angle about ? Now thet Bryan is out (poor guy, he can't get a break), The Shield are totally carrying this promotion. Loss
The WWE I loved so much from the Royal Rumble to the night after Wrestlemania seems to be gone. I'm about ready to go back to just watching something if I hear people rave about it. Even setting aside booking, we haven't had a great match on Raw in a long time either. tim
There seems to be a lot of negativity about last night's RAW but I really liked it. All the matches but the main event were good and the six man was excellent. The Fox/Paige match was good with an awesome post-match and Natalya/Nikki was just an odd and entertaining thing to behold. The Shield angle throughout the show was well done leading to a great and really hot ending and pretty much every segment had meaning, no meaningless un-motivated matches between guys we're given to reason to care about. Only Fandango/Ziggler came close to that and at least it had the ridiculous to the point of being amusing kiss afterward. The only down spot was the Kane/Bryan stuff. But I guess this is a sign WWE thinks Bryan will be back by Payback. I think spirits about WWE will improve a whole lot once that awful, awful, terrible feud is behind us. Loss
Even beyond that, Cesaro is actually less over than he was before they were invested in him. They've stopped playing to his strengths and don't seem to be matching him up with guys that will give him a good match. He hasn't had one since Wrestlemania. I'm glad he likely will tonight. The Cena/Wyatts feud is awful. Paige matches are fun, but never get over that much with the live crowd. I do like how they are positioning The Shield, but we don't see them pulling out the week-to-week matches they were in 2013 either. There are still good things happening, but I'm not sure I want to spend three hours every Monday watching Raw because I like Bad News Barrett. Cox
As much as I may like Paul Heyman, it's probably telling on some level that, other than Brock, the three guys they have paired him with since last year (Axel, Ryback, and now Cesaro) haven't really gotten any rub from being with him, and in the case of Ryback and Cesaro, actually lost steam after being paired with him. Strummer
Plus I'm still getting the impression they are still unsure of Bryan as a top guy. Not just with the Kane stuff either. You can tell when WWE is behind a guy and it's not shining through with the booking here. And as someone at CRZ's board mentioned the Authority stuff is getting played out and there is no end in sight for it. Not to take away anything from the performances of Steph and Hunter but damn how much longer can they go on with this? It's been nearly a year of heels in charge with only patches of babyface triumph

Loss
I agree with you that Stephanie lost something when she started doing the concern trolling with Daniel Bryan instead of just outwardly hating him. I'm glad we had a few months where things were coming together really well and I'm sure we will again at some point, but I suppose that's the new reality of wrestling. That level of quality is something we should enjoy when we have it, because it's very difficult to sustain. To be clear, I don't even blame WWE for all of it. There have been some circumstances out of everyone's control since Wrestlemania, specifically related to Daniel Bryan. It's just that the end result is what it is. goc
I've also decided Raw isn't worth the time to watch. I'll just catch the recaps when I watch Main Event, which usually ends up having at least 1 really good match every week. Last week's Smackdown was the first I've watched in FOREVER and that was because someone pimped Ambrose/Sheamus. It was pretty good but I liked Sheamus/Barrett and maybe even the Sheamus/Titus Main Event match better.

May is always flat compared to Mania season. Check back in around mid-June when they start picking things up heading into SummerSlam and we're debating potential Bryan-Lesnar and HHH-Reigns and Sting matches. Also, check out the Sheamus-Ambrose match from Smackdown last week, that will restore some faith.

I have no idea what you are referring to. What?? Michael Sam is a football player. The first openly gay football player, whom was drafting to the NFL this weekend in the 7th round. After he was selected, it showed him kiss his boyfriend in celebration & people on social media lost their minds. People were talking about boycotting ESPN & shit. It was ridiculous overreaction, which is what JBL was doing on RAW. Couple examples (from players):
funkdoc
El-P is French IIRC, so not surprising. FYI, Michael Sam is the first American football player to come out as gay while playing. He just got drafted into the NFL, and celebrated by kissing his boyfriend on camera. It's a huge media frenzy in America, hence that angle! El-P
Ok thanks. So they were playing off homophobic overractions by having a guy kissing a girl. Okayyyy. Not sure if I see the relevance in all of this. Oh, anyway, Fandango is irrelavant anyway, as it seems this plants the seed for a feud between his two girls. Russellmania
regarding Bryan, I strongly disagree with those who are worried that this will kill his momentum. This Kane feud is one of the worst things they've done in over a decade and was actively hurting Bryan. I honestly think he's better off not being on TV at all for a couple months than is appearing on RAW and running in fear from his challenger. If they take the title off him and he comes back and gets to chase it again it will only get him more over IMO because it will be just one more obstacle he's had to overcome. Personally I think this is a chance for them to hit the reset button and get him back to being booked strong heading into his inevitable match(es) against Brock. I also think this is a great opportunity for them to give someone a short title reign that might help elevate someone a bit. What I would do is strip him of the title immediately then announce a 4-man tourney to crown a new champion. Have it be Cena, Orton, Kane, and Bray. On RAW have Cena beat Kane to earn one spot then have Bray beat Orton to secure the other spot (with Shield interference to further the Shield/Evo feud). The Bray/Orton match could also serve to tease a future Evo/Wyatts matchup. At Payback then you have Cena vs. Bray for the title with the story that Cena is as desperate as ever to win because if Bray wins the title he'll now have the perfect platform for his message. This is where I'd have Bray finally beat him and have him go on a reign of terror for a few months until Bryan can come back and win back the title.
