NintendoLogic
When Cena was feuding with Miz? Yeah, WWE was pretty much a wasteland at that point. It's picked up big-time the past couple of years. The Cena/Rhodes Brothers vs. Wyatts six-man tag at the house show I went to in March is probably the best match I've seen all year. goc
Surely this show ends with Brock going through a table and John Cena standing over him doing You Can't See Me with the way Vince has been insisting on Cena being booked strong. Petey
Wasn't Vince only insisting on Cena being booked strong so that it would create some doubt in the viewers' eyes as to who might win? I don't think it's part of some big picture plan to rebuild John Cena.

If you mean the house show I attended, it was after Summer of Punk, so Cena and Miz weren't still feuding, per se. Was still cool in a way to see "the WrestleMania main event" though. Strummer
they are giving Henry/Rusev the main event segment on the go home show? What the hell?  also, Stephanie and Hunter have essentially done nothing since Summerslam. Especially Hunter. I guess Stephanie is still involved in the Bella stuff but Hunter has become a non factor in the last month
Strummer
Reigns goes over clean the show before the same match at the PPV? This has been a weird ass ass show
Blehschmidt
Reigns meets Rollins one on one at the PPV Sunday. So they give it away on free tv 6 days earlier with a clean finish? I officially don't understand anymore.
Strummer
they put Cena/Lesnar on at the 10:00 hour because it was halftime of the Monday Night Football game. That's why Henry/Rusev went on last

Russellmania
it's just a crushing change to go from the NXT show on thursday (which I really liked) to this on Monday. You can really easily see how much more focused and efficient NXT is compared to the main roster. HHH has said that he'd like to see NXT become its own brand ala WCW and while that will obviously never happen in the truest sense, the contrast between the two organizations is reminiscent of how disorganized WCW used to seem compared to WWF (with WWE ironically being in the WCW position now)
sek69
It wasn't helping they were clearly killing time until the football game went to halftime to do the Cena/Lesnar angle.
goc
I still can't believe that they booked their biggest angle around the MNF half time, and essentially advertised it as such. Â "Hey! Hopefully you're watching the opening of the show and not "C'Mon Man"! We are going to have a Brock Lesnar/John Cena confrontation during half time so please come back for 15 minutes later tonight!"
Marty
Nice to know their go-home angle of the PPV's title match is the low-end equivalent of Halftime Heat, if that.
Kostka
Mark Henry/Rusev segment getting the closing portion of the show was pretty surreal. Could this mean Henry is being constructed for a Brock match in the future? Maybe Rusev/Cena too?
FedEx227
I saw it more as a tool to build Rusev for a future Cena match (perhaps soon depending on how NoC goes down).
Ryan Faulconer
Paul Heyman is Emperor Palpatine. John Cena is supposed to be Luke Skywalker but he acted more like Anakin.
DMJ
I rarely agree with Vince Russo's opinion on things ("Matches need to be shorter!" "You have to do whatever it takes to get viewers no matter what!"), but other than saying that on the most recent episode of JR's podcast, he did actually say something that I've seen echoed elsewhere and couldn't agree with more - the 3-hour RAW concept is a short-sighted money grab that is hurting the company's ability to seem "cool," "must see," or any other buzz word. If I'm not mistaken, it also is hurting the show's rating (as you are averaging out the ratings of 3 hours and not 2 - in theory, this wouldn't be a problem if the show's hours were all earning the same rating or even improving as the show went along, but when you lose hundreds of thousands of viewer with each half hour, it's no wonder nobody aside from NBC/Universal was interested in TV rights). Â At this point, I'm not sure WWE will ever go back to 2-hour shows, but, man, in the long run, I think it would do wonders for their ability to make it seem like a relevant broadcast (and potentially also have the effect of boosting interest in SmackDown, which seems like such a wasteland/dumping zone show). Â Like the WWE Network, the short-term loss is undeniable...but in the long run, there is so much more potential for wrestling to "heat up" again if they can find a way to leave the audience wanting more. Right now, the audience is getting way more than it wants and the ratings and subscription numbers show it.
Coffey
3-hour RAW is 3-hour Nitro. 2-hour throwaway Smackdown is 2-hour throwaway Thunder. Â We have come full circle.

shakla
The Divas tag had 3 intros shown, and the Divas champion gets the jobber intro. I know there's the triple threat at NoC, but if you only "had time" for 3 intros, make the teams come out together and appear kayfabe uncomfortable or something. Just don't think titleholders (even secondary) should get no intros. Â The ending of the Naomi/Cameron match bugged me. Cameron dominating the match for the most part, and then submits in like half a second. Â Plus, they were in a town that Vince/Dunn doesn't perceive as "big". That's always awkward to skirt the "issue", calling it the Cajun Dome (even Bray did it) although I think Henry had the decency to name the city. shakla
BTW, on Cameron trying to pin Naomi when she was on her stomach, was that a planned spot or not? I was under the impression that it was, especially with Cameron staying in character when yelling at the ref, but some podcasts/reviews out there act as if it was a legit botch.
