I've brought this point up before, but if Charlotte wasn't given an intro (already in ring/"jobber intro") last night, would that have made this situation better or worse?

Also wanted to add. I'm tired of Divas tapping out super-fast. There was the Cameron/Naomi match (the one when Cameron went for a pin when Naomi was on her back) where Cameron tapped before Naomi even got the hold in. Last week, AJ taps out Nikki (who's around 6 inches taller and probably 30-40 lbs larger) in like a sec. Then last Raw, Summer Rae (close to 6', nearly a foot taller than AJ), is in control most of the match, then taps in a sec. At least make an attempt to reach the ropes or something.

The divas are working a lucha gimmick.

They could still pull back on him and have him beat Rusev and be U.S. champ for a bit. Beating Rusev has almost as much value as beating Brock at this point. Not that I think they'll do it, or will even need to. I don't foresee the grand revolt some are predicting.

I tend to think the people predicting it will be the people doing it. I am hearing it enough now to at least wonder. Ryback is getting the most consistent positive applause right now though. Don't see why Reigns can't compete with him.

Dave Meltzer going off about Charlotte losing on RAW, during the Wrestling Observer Radio show, had me cracking up.

NXT Women's Champion. A few days before the NXT PPV on the WWE Network. Daughter of Ric Flair. In the Carolinas. Loses in 2:29.

His point was she never uses any of her father's signature moves in NXT in order to establish herself as her own character, and whoever put the match together on Raw had her go out there and do all his spots except the turnbuckle flip (which he half sarcastically noted would probably have got her over since it would showcase her athletic ability). It was stupid match layout, stupid booking, and didn't do anything to quiet the rumors Kevin Dunn has a hate boner towards anyone coming out of NXT.

Meltzer can be fucking hilariously transparent at times. I'd bet all my money he wouldn't be so upset if it were Sasha Banks who jobbed to Nattie. And she uses the chops and figure four in NXT. What other moves do people associate with him? Hell, the figure four is a lot better than that goofy cutter she does. She should stick with it.

Maybe I'm not upset because I don't fawn over the NXT women's division and have found it comparatively lackluster, but her losing is not a big deal at all.

Me too. He was hilarious. And right. These people are dumbfucks. This is right out of my WCW thread.

WWE lately seems like they have been doing a lot of things that seem very similar to decisions that late WCW made. I think a lot of it is because they don't really care, since there's not any competition. They can just spin their wheels & continue to make money.

You're a man in his mid-30s spending time on the Internet taking potshots at a show he supposedly doesn't watch. Where in life did you take a wrong turn? Was it when you hit your girlfriend/sister? Go outside or something, man.

Is WWE really so worthy of being defended that you need to personally attack someone and pull out years old posts over it?

And why is it that it seems like the biggest arguments online about WWE happen over the Divas? Why does anyone on the internet even care or watch the Divas division at all? You can't complain how there is too much TV and Raw is too long and then NOT fast forward the Divas.

To the Divas point, I think it comes down to what people hope for and what they know that certain women in the division can deliver. Charlotte and Nattie are good wrestlers who have shown they can have a really good match together. Most of the complaints are over them not giving the women time to do anything, and they are legit complaints. To my mind it's similar to offering up someone a great steak dinner, but then only cooking it for a few seconds and expecting the person who wanted a well done steak to still enjoy the steak.

Judging from his last few posts, this guy's an idiot. And really, digging stuff from more than three years ago must have taken him quite a bit of time, which makes the whole "get a life" gimmick (in 2014 ? Seriously ?) quite funny actually.

(edit : well, since he's a goner, I might as well edit my reply)
