If The Undertaker is returning for revenge on The Shield (I think one of the commentators brought that up within the last few weeks) and with Roman Reigns turning face at some point, is there any chance we get Taker & Reigns vs. Ambrose & Rollings at WrestleMania?

I don't know if anyone is saying Bryan's being straight up buried and having his career destroyed on the undercard. But he is being held back in the mid card. He's in a great position in his career right now, but he could possibly be a lot more. He's still outrageously over with the live crowds and has a lot of charisma. Maybe he couldn't have been a really big star but he has obvious potential and they didn't really try. Instead they just kicked him back down to a midcard feud and kept Randy Orton on top for pretty much no reason except that he's their guy and Bryan really isn't.

He's not even really in the midcard though - he's not having thrown together TV matches with Sandow and Fandango.

Well, I'll shut up now.

Well, it was a match in his hometown where he squashed Fandango, started off the show hot, and played more into the buildup for his PPV match with the Wyatts.

And the Outlaws in the Dumb and Dumber tuxes ruled.

Bad Influence did the same thing a couple of months ago. But it happened in TNA, so it didn't really happen.

You know, if someone had a comp of just the Bad Influence stuff from TNA I'd like to see it. I liked the very little I saw last year but I just don't have the time or inclination to watch TNA.

I'm loving the really slow build they're doing with Ambrose and Reigns. It's all been little comments and looks, right now between two guys who are most definitely still friends and teammates. Nothing that would equal a breakup happening soon, but slow character development.

For some reason, I have a feeling this perception is being imagined. Creative has no concept of "slow character development" since that is predicated on some thought beyond next Monday. They just didn't pull the trigger.

Lol. Yeah, I'm "imagining" the bit from about two months ago where Ambrose said he was the only guy in the group still with gold and Reigns threw him a look. I imagined when Ambrose tonight looked a tiny bit upset when Reigns interrupted him when they were presenting the Slammy and Reigns rolling his eyes at Ambrose. I imagined Reigns again rolling his eyes at Ambrose during the Punk match, and I imagined seeing Reigns still fuck up Punk after Ambrose's over confidence got him fucked and pinned, but still walk behind his pal as he was being cared to and carted off by Rollins with body language that said "My pal's an asshole at times, and it cost him. But we're still a team"

Come on man, it's all right there.

edit: 1. I fucking LOVED that ending to the show.

2. I love even more the Oliver Stone level of conspiracy theories about every second of it and what it meant, that are going on on the internetz.

CM Punk hasn't had the greatest year but every so often, there's little things that are awesome, like him laughing at Stephanie's introduction of HHH. The Daniel Bryan chanting at the end was awesome and it really seems at this point that he's got to win the Rumble or at least be heavily featured at Mania. They can try and force Orton/Cena all they want but nobody is listening.

I don't always agree with Johnny but there's clear evidence of slow building character development/dissension between Reigns and Ambrose. It's directly in front of the audience on the screen in plain sight. The examples aren't hard to find.

I actually think they've been heavy handed with it. It hasn't felt organic at all to me. They think they're doing a Batista face turn with Reigns, which actually was organic, but this is not that. It's just so blatant and obvious that they want to push this face turn with him, by their own choice. Fans weren't clamoring to see Roman Reigns: Diesel pt. 2. I thought the Survivor Series "monster moment" with him came off so forced.

Maybe that's just me, but I'm not feeling it. If anything, this stuff is making Ambrose look like gold and exposing Reigns as a guy who's not quite ready for this push
