Russellmania Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 HOLY FUCK.... ROH MAIN EVENT say what? 1st ROH show... DB did that exact same Indian death lock - Northern lights combo against Low Ki and Daniels. oh, neat! Quote
Russellmania Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 how many finishers will Cena kick out of tonight? Quote
Russellmania Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 this crowd is actually annoying me now because they're too focused on the smark chants and not marking out for what is some seriously cool shit going on right now. Quote
Johnny Sorrow Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 This match so fucking rules Quote
Russellmania Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 if they really want to get this crowd's attention they'll have Orton get eliminated first. Quote
Russellmania Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 clearly people would rather see Cena/Wyatt than Shield/Wyatts Quote
KrisZ Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 Kane in the Chamber......you know what that means Quote
goodhelmet Posted February 24, 2014 Author Report Posted February 24, 2014 Awesome match... belligerent booking. Quote
cowboy hats Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 fun match destroyed by lol booking. kane!! Quote
Log Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 I like how JBL described exactly what happened with Kane and Bryan, then Lawler says, "That's how you see it." Quote
The Chief Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 Michael Cole getting a little meta on commentary..... Quote
Loss Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 They overbooked the eliminations of Cena and Bryan way too much for my tastes, but the result wasn't really a surprise to me, and this match was pretty incredible. The pacing was insane, like 80s New Japan on steroids. I would probably put it in the top two or three matches in the history of the company even with the Kane and Wyatts crap. I feel bad for that crowd, though. The finish shocked them into silence. Quote
NintendoLogic Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 Well, at least they went the extra mile in piling on the odds against Bryan this time around. But I didn't like how Bryan attacked Kane first. It felt like gratuitous shades of gray bullshit. Kane is a corporate tool who wants to screw Bryan out of the title. Does he really need motivation beyond that? Quote
KrisZ Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 They definitely wanted that reaction though from the crowd since they went with all the camera shots Quote
Stiva Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 WWE acknowledging 2 months of fan unrest but actually ignoring it is such a WWE move. Incredible chamber match, hampered by a hokey last 5 minutes as they scrambled for any attempt to stick to their plan. Quote
Matt D Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 Really enjoyable match with tons and tons of memorable moments and some really great character work but Bryan really does drop his selling quite a bit. I wonder if it's the Backlund complex. Quote

sek69 Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 Not even going into the whole Bryan backlash, I'm just saying all these constant "lets screw over the guy the fans really want to see" finishes in a row is really going to bite WWE in the ass at some point. At least we won't have to pay $70 to watch Orton and Big Dave get laughed out of the Superdome thanks to the Network. Quote
Loss Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 No, and please don't insult me. Tell me why I'm wrong if you think I am, but don't troll like that. Quote
Stiva Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 I'm not sure it's that high but my immediate reaction is definitely the best WWE match of the 2010s so far. I can't think of anything comparable except maybe Cena/Punk in Chicago. Quote
Matt D Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 Christian coming in and just destroying the shoulder was pretty glorious. Is it too much to ask that Christian ends up with Zeb somehow? Quote
