^Scott Bowden started a channel where he's putting up some Memphis classics and rarities. Some very cool audio for shows that didn't exist and a partial episode from 1974.

 

Has this circulated before?

This Guy makes really extensive playlists for every year and puts everything in chronological order.

This video right here. Took me a bit to figure it out, but it's the 8/15/81 episode of CWF featuring Dusty-Assassin and Lawler-Funk. Aside from those great highlights we get all the hype for a big show in Key West later that night. Great stuff.

Looks like the beloved Wrestling Collector YouTube channel is gone. Does anyone know if he's popped up anywhere else?

The two channels were complementary - combined they had basically all the WWF house shows.

This is basically a fanboy channel for Mil Mascaras and Dos Caras but he has a LOT of stuff I've never, ever seen before, like AJPW TV from 1979. Long matches involving Dr. Wagner, which are in short supply. Plus stuff that's a curiosity if nothing else like Jumbo & Dos going 15 minutes with the Valiant Brothers. Very rare very cool stuff that I hope stays preserved (Our Friend in Japan disappeared again, seemingly voluntarily this time).

Any favorite news/commentary channels to add here?

I know many tend to be trying way too hard to sound like smarts, or seemingly make videos and lists just to generate traffic and comments buzz (looking at you WhatCulture, especially with all the "things (insert here) wants you to forget about (insert here) vids with many "yeah, so" type of examples) but some seem to do a darn good job at being entertaining and not too much of a "trying too hard" channel.

 

Wrestling With Wregret and Going In Raw are good examples, even if Johnny Sorrow ripped the former's production values once when I linked a video they did ripping the WWE's milking of Eddie Guerrero's death storylines.

What I really like are the Cornette channels where Brian has pulled the most interesting topics from the podcasts. They do commentary over a few matches even.

Yeah, noticed that last night. I wonder what the hell he did--that isn't your standard "violation of copyright policy" takedown statement. My bold prediction is that he rises again.

Not sure if this is 100% correct, but the way he used the watermarks was a bit misleading, almost as if he was marketing the All Japan footage as his own CH Wrestle 77 footage.

 

Of course, there are billion other reasons one can get kicked off YouTube. I just like to think that in the end, it was the watermarks that did him in.
