I like Alexa. Her character's good and she plays it well, but she seemed pretty lost in that match. Doesn't help that the crowd was dead.

Awesome match! Bummed by Becky's loss but Alexa is an awesome heel and she will be a great champ. Thought the selling was great and table teases were well-done.

 

Hyped for AJ!!!! And I guess for Ambrose

Yeah that match was not very good. They seemed to have a few ideas for table spots and not much for what to do around them, plus there were some timing and positioning issues. I dig Alexa and have been impressed with her since coming up but tonight was not her best showing.

Watching Miz/Ziggler, I did think, "This'll probably be a divisive match where some love it and some really don't." They did a great job doing violent ladder spots grounded on the mat and floor, treating it like a sharp piece of metal that you'd use the way one would have used a steel cage in the 80s.

 

Imagine winning your first title by tripping your opponent through a table. To be fair, it was a powerbomb on the floor, but that was still some banana peel-lookin' stuff.

Another match of the year contender for AJ! 450 splash was insane! Loved Ellsworth heel turn in all its 1999 swerve glory because we have not had one in a long time. Awesome
